Bias toward / on watch: $VRX, $CARA for possible daytrading lift, Oil $USOIL $WTI came off hard AGAIN in overnight trade and looking for an interim bounce (I am underwater in a trade), $DXY US Dollar as noted previous has held support area and could get significant lift, and Gold / Silver as expected continue under pressure. $SPY pressure / floating along and $VIX nothing new.

If you are new to our trading service you should review recent blog posts, the Compound Trading YouTube Channel and at minimum our algorithm Twitter feeds because they do tell a story in terms of the market and how the inflections of the market determine our day to day trading. You will notice the algorithmic modelling has been undeniably accurate with many time-frames (intra-day, weeks and months out) so I myself have learned to respect their math (they have taken me from a 60% hit rate to 80% in my trading – all publicly posted live trades).

Momentum Stocks (Market Open and Intra-Day):

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid risk – so often I avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks later in the day after the wash-out looking for a snap-back. Just prior to open and shortly after open I post momentum stocks to the trade chat room (and Twitter and Stocktwits if I have time).

I was bullish Friday (and it did get bull momo) but undecided / not so much today. We will have to see. Earnings are soon and it seems they will be positive for the most part so who knows. Market could rev up again soon.

Good day! My name is Rosie the Gold Algo. Welcome to my new member edition Gold trade report for Compound Trading.

Like EPIC our Oil Algorithm chart model, I am an algorithm chart model in development and testing to eventually go to coding phase and be used as an intelligent assistant for our traders. My charting model is specifically suitable for the use and purpose of Gold related issues. I also provide conventional charting observations for both Gold and Miner’s.

The charting model is best used decision to decision. In other words, each line on my algorithmic model charts are support and resistance related. As trade progresses, weighing my algorithmic charting model with / against against conventional charting observations will provide an edge over using only conventional chart driven trade.

The charting below is second generation (EPIC the Oil Algorithm as an example is in fourth generation).

Let’s Review.

The chart below was used to guide our traders through symmetrical trade extensions (white arrows) assisted by Fibonacci levels (various horizontal), previous conventional support and resistance points of reference (purple) and algorithmic model quadrants support and resistance (blue) and algorithm calculated support and resistance key points (yellow). The chart also includes some notes. This charting called the low months in advance and the recent high months in advance. It was integral to our traders success.

So in summary, our first generation Gold algorithm chart model uses the following indicators (listed from most predictable to least in terms of win rate):

  1. Algorithmic prediction of wide time frame lows and highs (proprietary algorithmic calculations).
  2. Algorithmic modeled quadrant support and resistance (blue horizontal lines)
  3. Algorithmic calculated support and resistance based on historical trade (yellow horizontal lines).
  4. Symmetrical extension expectations (white arrows).
  5. Conventional Fibonacci support and resistance (various horizontal lines).
  6. Conventional historical support and resistance (purple horizontal lines).
  7. Conventional moving averages. 20, 50, 100 and 200 MA.

The Second Generation Chart Modeling Uses a More Advanced Algorithmic Quadrant Model (based on Fibonacci) and Weighed Against Historical Trade.

You will notice on the chart below diamond shaped patterns. Theses represent lower time-frames than the blue support and resistance lines above represent for wider time-frame quadrants. The way trade reacts to the tighter time-frames is critical and takes some understanding and experience. Our traders will be publishing videos on the subject for our members going forward. Please note, if you are familiar with how oil trades between the same type of quadrants on EPIC’s charting… this is identical. The bottom line… all lines are support and resistance decisions and the time-cycles are when each quadrant area expires. The quadrants are available on all time-frames but the represented time-frames below are most widely used.

The chart below adds;

1: 60 min time cycle quadrants represented in orange diagonal dotted lines. These are critical to trade and you will find they will act as significant support and resistance decisions.

Also, 2: along with them are the horizontal grey lines – they, as with EPIC charting become significant support and resistance.

If you consider the seven indicators above plus the two below there are then nine indicators of support and resistance decisions that each will act as support and resistance in their own manner. This is where time, experience and training come in. Our lead trader will (as noted above) provide regular webinars / videos on the subject.

Although many inflections of trade occur within each quadrant, one of the main to consider is that price regularly moves toward the quadrant apex, inverse apex and either side apex. Also of importance is that trade often becomes more volatile when leaving / entering a quadrant and also as trade nears the middle (widest range) part of a quadrant.

Our plan going forward is to provide low frame quadrant charting for our traders. We first want to provide training for the charting to date and give our traders a few weeks with this development. Expect regular training webinars to be announced over the coming days.

Also of note, we have a model for $GDX we will add to this report in the coming weeks.

For now, the obvious trade considering the quadrant above is for price to chase the lower inverse apex on the chart terminating July 18, 2017 at approximately 1184.00 on the chart (your attention should be given to the 1071.00 approximate figure below in the conventional charting). This is not however absolute. The regular reporting will keep you up to date with our bias considering model trade.

Your short term overhead resistance is 1220.29 (grey horizontal) and your support is 1204.79 (blue horizontal fib) and then of course the quadrant wall (diagonal orange dotted).

Wider range there is significant resistance at 1228.14 (blue) and significant support at 1185.58 (yellow). These are areas our traders take advantage of trade support and resistance (blue and yellow horizontal support and resistance). You will find these two indicators to provide your best ROI because of predictability. The quadrants add a dynamic that otherwise would not be there, but the wider time frame critical support and resistance are where a trader can size in considerably.

Below are some conventional Gold and $GDX charting considerations also for consideration and should be given weight to your trade.

How I made $2250.00 in two $CARA intra trades < 4 mins. Raw trading room video.

For Daytraders Learning How to Trade (and win regularly). This Video and Post Covers Intra-day Scalping and How to Daytrade and Win (being on the right side of the 1%).

A trading process is critical – this video and quick blog post will give the learning daytrader one more tool in their trading toolkit. Intra-day wash-out trading and what indicators to watch for.

This video is the raw daytrading video from Monday July 3, 2017. There are two $CARA trades that each last less than 4 mins. 2250.00 approx profit on the two. Also a small loss on $OPXA and a flat on $CARA. The $CARA trades are at 40:50 – 44:12 entry 16.25 5000 shares and out at 16.50 for 1250.00 profit and the second is at 1:06:19 on video in at 17.26 and out 17.47 5000 shares for + 1,000.00 profit. But I highly recommend anyone learning how to daytrade momentum stocks, market open trades, or wash – out snap backs (which is what this was) watch the complete video.

I don’t say this often (if you have watched any of my vids you will know I don’t) but I am telling you that if you are not winning regularly daytrading this is a video to study.

The reason a learning trader should watch the whole video are the inflections moment to moment are very important. How I identified the 200 ma on 5 min as critical and the 100 ma on the 15 min and how they played in to the 5 min candles as it related to price on the quarters and percentage gain intraday % on quarters and many other important moment to moment inflections.

Daytrading isn’t easy but there are systematic ways to do it. You just need to learn the moment to moment inflections and dynamics and what to watch for. You also need to learn your charting and have excellent emotional discipline. And most of all I believe you should have a coach like any good athlete or competitor. It is very very important.

Anyway, what you are doing when you daytrade is you are trading against the very best in the world. You are trading against yourself and your emotions – that is true, but you are most trading against the best in the world and they will take your money if you don’t have the skillset (the tools) and the training that allows you to execute with-out hesitation. You have to train and be able to execute like a robot – with-out the emotion, without thinking. Why? Because that is what the best in the world are doing at micro seconds in these trades. You need to be in and out when they are. You will notice after I leave this trade for the day that the stock falls off and doesn’t come back. I scalped the top and left.

What you are doing when you daytrade is you are trading against the very best in the world

The other important point in this type of trading is that this is how a small account trader can consistently build a small account. Now sure, this size of stock may not work (you need 1.00 stocks) but the discipline is the same. Take the indicators and inflections I discuss and be sure to cut very very fast if you don’t get momentum very quickly in your trade. Take the broker fee loss and just learn how to enter right before spikes (the power part of PTPTRR that I discuss in the freedom traders posts on our blog).

If you are new to our trading service you should review recent blog posts, the Compound Trading YouTube Channel and at minimum our algorithm Twitter feeds because they do tell a story in terms of the market and how the inflections of the market determine our day to day trading. You will notice the algorithmic modelling has been undeniably accurate with many time-frames (intra-day, weeks and months out) so I myself have learned to respect their math (they have taken me from a 60% hit rate to 80% in my trading – all publicly posted live trades).

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid risk – so often I avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks later in the day after the wash-out looking for a snap-back. Free scanners to find momentum stocks that you can easily review charts of for indicators that bring probability of your trade being successful up considerably. These are not useful for first 30 minute market open gap and go type plays (you need a good momentum scanner, level 2, and best to have hot-keys for the first 30 mins of gap and go trading)… but are very useful for intra day scalping and swing trading (start with trending stocks and then look at indicators intra for simple set-ups – study scan study scan study scan).

You will notice the algorithmic modelling has been undeniably accurate with many time-frames (intra-day, weeks and months out) so I myself have learned to respect their math (they have taken me from a 60% hit rate to 80% in my trading – all publicly posted live trades).

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid risk – so often I avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks later in the day after the wash-out looking for a snap-back. Free scanners to find momentum stocks that you can easily review charts of for indicators that bring probability of your trade being successful up considerably. These are not useful for first 30 minute market open gap and go type plays (you need a good momentum scanner, level 2, and best to have hot-keys for the first 30 mins of gap and go trading)… but are very useful for intra day scalping and swing trading (start with trending stocks and then look at indicators intra for simple set-ups – study scan study scan study scan).

Last night we had a storm come through that knocked out power until now so the oil room is back up and the main room will be running as normal.

The reporting will resume this evening as normal. The next phase Gold algo will be released this evening also.

My understanding is with fiber if I have a UPS power back up for the computers on site here that even with a power outage my internet will remain up so I have ordered one this morning that will arrive within 10 days so that won’t occur in future.
