Service(s) Memo Follow-Up re: Compliance and Service Offerings Going Forward with Edits and Additions

Services Memo:

Below are specific changes to our service offerings effective immediately that focus / pivot our start-up business exclusively toward a data driven entity and not a trading and/or trade-driven alert entity.

This distinction (a focus toward technical data only) provides a clear pathway to compliance as may be required by various regulatory entities in various jurisdictions through-out the world. It also provides our clients at all levels a clear understanding of our function in the marketplace.

For purposes of clarity there may be follow-up memos to address any items that come forward in future.

Much of the information below is redundant, but in an effort to cover with clarity all manner of operational procedure it is required.

Swing Trading Service (Live Alerts, Trading Rooms, Newsletters).

  • Live Alerts
    • Previously, our trader(s) would alert at times specific trade entry(s) and exit(s) to the Twitter @SwingAlerts_CT and/or other feeds and the like for model accounts, real accounts, set-ups and various other feeds.
    • Our service going forward will not alert trades entered by our traders. We will alert buy/sell signals that trigger per the technical chart set-ups we are working with.
  • Trading Rooms
    • Previously, our trader(s) would alert at times specific trade entry(s) and exit(s) to the trading room(s) and the like for model accounts, real accounts, set-ups and various other.
    • Our service going forward will not alert trades entered by our traders. We will alert buy/sell signals that trigger per the technical chart set-ups we are working with.
  •  Newsletters
    • Previously, our trader(s) would, at times, alert in the newsletter documents trades they would be executing (or did execute).

Live Trading Room(s). Daytrading, Oil Trading Room and Discord free trading room offered to general public.

  • Alerts in Trading Rooms.
    • Previously, our trader(s) would alert, at times, specific trade entry(s) and exit(s) and the like for model accounts, real accounts, set-ups and various others.
    • Our service going forward will not alert trades entered by our traders. We will alert buy / sell signals that trigger per the technical chart set-ups we are working with (data provider).

Coaching

  • Our coaching, in the past, has included levels of instruction from beginner to advanced, including many levels of trade execution, psychology and technical trading knowledge.
  • Coaching, in future (as it has), will include all levels of trade execution, psychology and technical trading knowledge required to trade various instruments. However, the coaching will not include representations of profit and loss or any other mechanisms commonly known to be used to lure a trainee under the guise of perceived gains in learning to be a trader from our coaching staff.

Private Equity Fund / Institutional Customers / Commercial Agreements Etc.

  • In past, we have engaged in commercial related trade agreements and / or power of attorney trade relations under various scenarios.
  • Going forward, no trading will be executed by our staff or directors at any level of any type for any reason. Any association to private equity funds, institutional customers and/or commercial agreements will specifically be technical know-how, technical set-ups and/or alerts and/or data driven environments.

Sub-Account Structures and Power of Attorney Agreements: 

Compound Trading is separate and apart from broker-dealers related to the “Private Capital Pool” that has appeared or represented in ad copy, general matter on social media profiles and posts, and others, and acts in the capacity of a market data provider only.

Currently, correspondences with leads related to the private investment fund have been put on hiatus, or have been told that there will be no discussion about said fund until the compliance framework(s) are in place by the registered broker-dealers for whom commercial data provider agreements are in place with or may be in place with in future.

While Compound Trading has positioned itself in this capacity following a well-characterized “decentralized hedge fund model”, any language or mention of the Private Capital Pool will clearly state the relationship between registered broker-dealer partner(s) who are responsible for the maintenance of a financial advising or hedge fund environment and our capacity as market data providers. Any inquiries, leads, or questions related to said hedge fund will be referred directly to said registered broker-dealers.

Back-Test and Historical Data Trails

Pursuant to the changes remarked upon above going forward, all previous data trails (blog posts, static pages) on the website (CompoundTrading.com) will be hand-audited and edited to reflect these points (where possible). All old versions of the website (revisions, mirrors, etc.) are available on the server back-end should interested parties request them.

As mentioned in the previous memo dated Feb 11, 2018, between now and March 1, 2018 our website and various offering(s) will be updated and specific communication sent to customers as needed and as it applies.

Feb 13, 2018 Edit

BTW just finished resetting all our systems/ alarms for the new alerts system. The operational pivot is an upgrade to previous- the buy/ sell triggered alerts in essence provide the same alert signal based on chart set-up but will also include the visual chart set-up & thesis….

for each alert & life cycle of trade as it progresses vs. just a personal trader alert. In other words, the complete thesis and structure of the trade set-up will be encompassed in a more clear data driven technical structure vs. random alerts from our trader(s) based on trades.
