Notices:
Two Week Account Double Challenge: It ended today (Monday) because there was a holiday last week (so ten trading days). I didn’t double, I think I was closer to 41% and our techs will do review vids and publish P&L soon for review. It started out really strong and as inauguration got closer market got less aggressive and has been since. The momo plays lacked follow through the last five or six trading days. Oh well! 41% ish isn’t bad. I’ll be looking to get my double up before the end of the month now and I’ll be targeting a double up per month going forward. Remember – all live in the room, recorded, transcript etc… no calling things after the fact – totally transparent room.
Daily Trading Results. I apologize, I haven’t had time to do last Wed, Thur and Fri yet – I will post them. To be honest they were so uneventful for me that I prioritized other work – but I’ll get them out soon.
A Special Note to Newer Traders or Folks Looking in to our Services: I don’t have a lot of time right now to explain this, you certainly don’t have a lot of time to hear it and I won’t single anyone out – but I do again find myself having to set something straight. There is a newer trader that admittedly has not been consistent in his/her oil related trading – so he/she has been in our room for the last four or so weeks and getting Epic the Oil Algo reports in the morning. Recent renewal comes up and he/she says there hasn’t been enough action, market weak etc… long story and I won’t give all the detail. Anyway, important notes for new traders are as follows;
First, if you are following my trades or anyone else’s that is very bad. Not good. Trade a plan. Learn from the room and reports – but learn to develop a plan and trade it.
Second, in the last four to six weeks there has been enough margin in oil related trade (if, like this newer trader of topic here you only trade oil related) that had I traded only oil related I would have increased my account 20 % or more. It’s all relative. I chose not to trade oil related because I trade what will bring me (in my advance assessment) the highest return for the least amount of effort in the shortest amount of time. So I have been trading momo stocks since Epic the Algo gave us clear indication that the oil related trade was at an inflection (which was spot on obviously with the trade of oil the last six weeks). BUT HAD I TRADED oil related, I can guarantee a minimum 20% return. And why can I say that? Because I’m totally transparent so I can – my trades stand on their own so there’s no arguing that. And, I can also say it because I actually care. Yup, that’s novel. We care about newer traders in our room so if you’re doing something stupid I gotta say it. And maybe by saying this others can benefit also.
For those that don’t know our trading room I trade $DXY US Dollar related (like $UUP early in the recent break-out last fall when our algo nailed it), Gold $GLD and related (which I missed at this turn but in past with our algo nailing it I trade and likely will trade again if our algo says another turn soon), Silver $SLV (same as Gold our algo nailed the turn and I do trade it), OIL $USOIL $WTI (and as many know I trade oil related intensely when EPIC our oil algo signals a trend reversal), $SPY and related and $VIX related such as $XIV, $TVIX, $UVXY and more. So I trade all those and the momentum stocks. You will find me in the ones specific to what I believe will return the highest ROI in the shortest amount of time – but that doesn’t mean you can’t trade something I am not. In fact, in the most recent turn that Rosie the Gold Algo called months in advance and SuperNova Silver Algo called many of our members have been banking DAILY on that move – but I haven’t traded it once. I missed the turn – I knew it was there of course because of the algos – but I didn’t execute in it. But the majority of the room has.

Overview Perspective & Review of Chat Room, Algo Calls, Trades and Alerts:
$MRNS, $SHH, $GALE, $NVLS. Today was all about momentum plays that had no follow through so I couldn’t size in – which has been my challenge the last eight trading days. Learning how to size in to trades is critical to trading success – you’ll notice even though the last eight days the momos have not allowed for significant size legging I didn’t get chopped to crap. So please, please don’t do this at home until you’ve practiced the discipline on paper trading first. Even a pro coach is a good idea – he/she at minimum should review your paper trades before you start in this process. It can be an account killer – or a blessing – it’s got a sharp edge and it’s fine the difference between the killing of your account and the blessed account.

Looking Forward:
In overnight trade it looks like commodities are cooling a bit so I may look at inverse Gold or Miner’s ETN’s ETF’s Tuesday, also market has been calm since inauguration so I would expect a bit of a pop or drop here soon and I’m thinking a pop. So I’m looking forward to the last six days of trading in January.
