$DUST I will close for a loss if Gold holds 1260 – sucks, but it was a relatively small position (to portfolio size) but I didn’t follow the golden rule… when a trade goes against your plan cut fast and I didn’t so I will likely pay the price. And I guess what has become the second golden rule… listen to the algos… they haven’t been wrong yet – so yes, I didn’t listen to my own invention ROSIE the Gold Algo (give Rosie a little plug there she deserves it lol). Embarrassing, especially because ROSIE nailed the bottom many weeks in advance of the bottom – all I had to do was listen and boom new house. Sad.

If you are new to our trading service you should review recent blog posts, our YouTube Channel and at minimum our algorithm Twitter feeds because they do tell a story in terms of the market and how the inflections of the market determine our day to day trading. You will notice the algorithmic modelling has been undeniably accurate with many time-frames (intra-day, weeks and months out) so I myself have learned to respect their math (they have taken me from a 60% hit rate to 80% in my trading – all publicly posted live trades).
I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid risk – so often I avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks later in the day after the wash-out looking for a snap-back. The only reason we post to the blog at all is for transparency and a public historical record of our work (if it’s good work it should show and if not we should go do something else). Members are reporting that they like the mobile service ability of YouTube Live better than Webinato but members need to know that they need to have a Google+ / Gmail account and sign in to YouTube and activate a channel to use the service. As mentioned above, I took a tough trade in $ORCL (small loss on two tries) – I was late to the party, but the way the trade was handles was important (the indicators). And $TOPS I hit that one for a run and was a nice morning momentum play. Then the market just went flat and our room decided best to $STUDY and use the time effectively.
I am holding (in order of sizing – all moderately small size to micro sizing) – $DUST, $ONTX, $XOM, $NE, $BLKG, $DRYS, $USRM, $ASM, $SSH, $LGCY, $TRCH, $ESEA, $MGTI (this is the daytrading portfolio and does not represent swing trading service portfolio): Looking at moving out of all these small positions over the next month or so.
The markets ran hard after the FOMC on Wednesday and then on Thursday we seen the shippers and dry index get lift which isn’t always the best indicator for market health – we also seen some general rotation, which I expected. Friday and Monday should set the tone for the short term… so I am watching closely. There are a number of swing trades I’m excited about entering between now and Monday also.

Overview Perspective & Review of Markets, Chat Room, Algo Calls, Trades and Alerts:
Monday was more active than Friday. I took a long in oil related $UWT and will add on dips while it is in its recent weeks trading range. Also took a long on $ONTX – they are presenting twice in February. Scalped trades on momentum stocks $MYSZ, $SINO for wins and $TOPS for small loss.
$MYSZ was tough scalping today. Worked out, but not easy.
I am holding (in order of sizing – all moderately small to small sizing) $UWT, $ONTX, $DUST, $VRX, $CBMX, $JUNO, $TRCH, $LGCY, $SSH, $ASM
Looking Forward:
I am watching our standard plays that apply to our algorithmic charting, as follows;
US Dollar $DXY $USDJPY $UUP:
Since US Dollar entered this support range / divergence on downtrend it hasn’t done much and still potentially threatens.
Per recent, “US Dollar $DXY is at important support so I will watch for a bounce (my personal bias)”. Today it did in fact bounce. The algorithmic model had noted a minor divergence as did the classic charting so I took a late day trade in $JDST (going well).
Friday was the Trump and Abe meeting day and the dollar is still sitting at support at end of day but charting is divergent so the jury is out.
In overnight trade Gold is challenging its intra downtrending channel top – but that may just ave something to do with Yellen Tuesday.
Per recent,” $GOLD, Miners and $SILVER blew through resistance but have a series of very significant algorithmic chart modeling and classic charting decisions on deck soon so I will watch for a pull-back (my personal bias but I do know there is a significant possibility my bias is wrong and if so I will really hammer down on the move through resistance long if it occurs – AND I’ll be ready for the small and micro caps that would likely light fight in that scenario)”.
Per recent, “Gold struggled at the second last resistance decision (at the algorithms symmetry extension on Rosie the Gold Algo charts – yellow line) and came off. And then when it failed the diagonal Fib based algorithm trendline (white dotted on Rosie’s charts) I took my trade in $JDST. In overnight trading this hasn’t been regained so there are 3 important resistance levels in Gold on our algorithm has before our algo considers the uptrend continued – so I will watch. Also of consideration for this trade is the announcement from Trump and Japan’s Abe expected Friday at 1:00 EST.”
So on Friday Gold jumped around like the $DXY US Dollar and $USDJPY. My guess is Sunday night trade or Monday trade will tell us a lot in the Dollar.
Silver $SLV:
Here, as with Gold, I suspect Yellen Tuesday will determine which trend continues.
Per Recent;
Silver is trading much like Gold in that it is near resistance and seems to be awaiting decisions or market reaction to Trump / Abe weekend and $USDJPY.
Crude Oil $USOIL $WTI:
Oil trade is up a bit overnight, I am in oil related $UWT and will add on dips inside multi-week sideways trade or if it hits upside resistance I will close position.
Per recent; Crude oil is trading very aggressive but completed the day right under the resistance Epic the Oil Algo has identified as key for many weeks. I suspect traders are awaiting OPEC meeting news and Trump and Abe weekend news bits before committing.
Per recent, “$OIL was broke and it magically repaired and is back in its multi-week range – trade the range until really broke.” On Thursday oil continued to trade within the sideways range it has been in for weeks – so yes, magically repaired chart. I believe there was evidence Wed and Thur of how our markets are “managed” – even oil.
Per recent, “There are OPEC meetings this weekend so that is in the mix also.”
Volatility $VIX:
Per recent; $VIX is still near dead – records are being set and/or are near being set daily.
Per recent; So $SPY did break out Thursday – our algo did predict this before the election so that wasn’t a big surprise but the interesting thing to myself and some of the traders in our membership was that price action hit the symmetry extension to the high side our algo Freedom the $SPY Algo had charted perfectly. Trade also continued Friday predictably in our modeling. So our fifth of six algos is starting to hit consistently also.
Per recent, “$SPY continues in its range but I will be looking for a break to higher (my personal bias)”. $SPY did break out on Thursday as expected so I am studying opportunity.
Momentum trades on Friday I found to be with-out follow through volume (as did other traders in the room and many others I communicate with in the community).
Per recent, “Still playing morning momos but the last 15 sessions follow-through momo (where I bank) has been difficult because volume goes poof”. This still the case but this morning premarket was a bit stronger but follow through wasn’t great (even though it was better).
Swing Trading:
There have been a string of trading wins in 2017 on the Swing Trading side;
Per recent, “Swing trading – continuing to bank on that side of our platform and don’t expect that to slow down in 2017 (until a change in market conditions of course)”. And of course this only got better today for our swing traders with $SPY break-out and related equities. There are a host of stocks in the service being traded such as $AAPL, $FB, $GOOGL, $BABA, $NFLX, $OAK and more.

Just prior to open and shortly after open I post momentum stocks to the trade chat room (and Twitter and Stocktwits if I have time).

Notices:
Algorithmic Modeling Charts – Our US Dollar Index algo math finally completed last night – very excited it back tests nearly as accurate as EPIC. More on that this weekend. $SPY and $VIX we’re still working on and expect majority of the model if not all completed this weekend.
Morning Emails: Multiple emails and / or complimentary issues end this Friday. As of Monday this will change, as will passwords for each algorithm daily.
Discounts: We ended our inaugural discount offer to the public last night but a few members have asked for an extension because they are traveling etc…. so we can do that just for existing members until this weekend also… but please after that lets just leave that be because we don’t want to run a sales promo room environment.
SMS / Email Alerts: The SMS and emails alerts – sometimes we can’t alert, so this scenario occurred in Tuesday trade, I was in and out of $DRYS and it was high risk very volatile and I likely did ten or more trades – impossible to alert. Anyway, in most market environments that doesn’t occur, but I thought I would just clarify.
Current Holds:
$GOOGL – sold (sorry I didn’t alert on SMS / Email – I didn’t dump it for trading reasons so I didn’t want to influence anyone else – we also have family businesses that cancelled all advertising contracts with Google yesterday:)), $LGCY, $ROKA, $TRCH, $ESEA, $CBMX, $JUNO (all very small), $DUST (looking for a way out on $DUST – was expecting one final significant spike in USDJPY before drop). $CBMX and $JUNO are holds till spring if necessary (you would have to do your own DD on the companies and make your own determination).
General Market Outlook:
With Fed, Facebook, Amazon and more it’s anyone’s guess – but I’m bias to bull side.
$SPY could pop easily IMO, $VIX is likely going to be trampled, Gold is at resistance, Silver at resistance but looks better than Gold, Miner’s have held up but Fed and USD/JPY could kick them to curb easily so I would be cautious, $DXY we have locked in so more detail this weekend, Oil is nearing a break-out or break-down that will be epic.
$AAPL rocked it so now I guess its primarily $AMZN Yellen Oil Trump that will determine bull or bear. And $USDJPY and few other randoms. GL!

Bottom line is I would like to get some sizing going, looking seriously at $DUST for a long entry (I’m entering now as writing with fills in 30.50 range with 1000 shares), going to watching momentum stocks, copper, natural gas and earnings plays.

General Market Outlook:
Volatility is here!!! Margin finally. Apple reports after market and Amazon Thursday – should get interesting. Morning chart reports show Gold, Silver near break outs, Oil near support, USDJPY near further break down and US Dollar confusing. VIX should be a good play today…. but most important is that margin has finally opened up! Thank you!
