Private Capital Fund / Personal Trading Going Forward:

The private capital fund will bring slight changes.

The financing of our business build-out was planned to occur by way of either retail memberships, institutional memberships or private fund trading. The retail market is still early and slow on the uptake of the requirement toward #IA intelligent assisted trade (within six years our estimation is that most retails traders will all need it, but until then we’re not waiting and we’ll just be ready on the other side of that awareness curve). The institutional membership growth has been strong and to be sure we meet our growth trajectory goals (development completion timeline targets for launch of digital “intelligent assistance” #AI algorithm models) we are engaging the implementation of a private capital fund.

A few things of consideration:

  1. Following my trades is never condoned. Trade alerts are for the purpose of alerting awareness to something important occurring so that a member can form a thesis of trade and they are also for the purpose of learning when I win and win I fail. This (following trades) will be more difficult going forward because my frequency of trade will increase also.
  2. Trade Alerts. The trade alerts (swing and day) are not guaranteed at any time (in and/or out) however, it is important to note that with a much higher frequency of trade I will be alerting only those trades I expect to last a few hours or longer. If you ask me for targets or thesis type questions on the alert feeds or otherwise it is unlikely you will receive a response. Trade review videos will be posted for that purpose as required.
  3. Type of Trades. We will be trading the algorithm models (the seven we have), day trading and swing trading for the fund.
  4. Trade Sizing. When I alert to the trading room or on a feed I will be alerting the size only specific to the membership base trading. In other words, the size of trade in our private fund is not disclosed.
  5. ROI Objective. We are trading under the goal / target of returning 100% per month. 50% would be very good and 25% is the minimum goal. So at minimum we are looking for 25% ROI per month compounded over 24 months.
  6. Term of Project. The term is 24 months (as mentioned above). Others we train as we progress will continue the legacy fund thereafter (as will they continue with our trading services at large).
  7. Trading Platform on Screen. When I trade my accounts (any of them) they may or may not be connected to various other private fund accounts (at different percentages etc).
  8. Sizing Considerations. Because we are / will also be trading a private fund, there will be trades we cannot take that I may otherwise take because the fund trade size will make it difficult for me to chip in and out of and other related liquidity issues.

If you are new to our trading service you should review recent blog posts, the Compound Trading YouTube Channel and at minimum our algorithm Twitter feeds because they do tell a story in terms of the market and how the inflections of the market determine our day to day trading. You will notice the algorithmic modelling has been undeniably accurate with many time-frames (intra-day, weeks and months out) so I myself have learned to respect their math (they have taken me from a 60% hit rate to 80%+ in my trading – all publicly posted live trades).

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid much of the day trading risk (preferring to daytrade only what is structurally set-up also on the swing trade side and to my advantage in the algorithmic model charting). I often avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks or structured (per explanation in previous sentence) stocks later in day after a wash-out looking for a snap-back trade that can possibly also become a strong swing or longer term trade that I can leg in to. Just prior to open and shortly after open I post momentum stocks to the trade chat room (and Twitter and Stocktwits if I have time).

(1) Momentum Stock Wash-Outs for Snap Back, (2) Bad News Wash-outs on Stocks with High Institutional Ownership, (3) Getting on the Right Side of a Trend Change and scaling in my position and (4) Our Algorithm Charting Model Set-Ups.

The momentum stocks (from previous days and morning trade) I continue to watch through the day for indicators that allow a trade.

Free scanners to find momentum stocks that you can easily review charts of for indicators that bring probability of your trade being successful up considerably. These are not useful for first 30 minute market open gap and go type plays (you need a good momentum scanner, level 2, and best to have hot-keys for the first 30 mins of gap and go trading)… but are very useful for intra day scalping and swing trading (start with trending stocks and then look at indicators intra for simple set-ups – study scan study scan study scan).

If you are new to our trading service you should review recent blog posts, the Compound Trading YouTube Channel and at minimum our algorithm Twitter feeds because they do tell a story in terms of the market and how the inflections of the market determine our day to day trading. You will notice the algorithmic modelling has been undeniably accurate with many time-frames (intra-day, weeks and months out) so I myself have learned to respect their math (they have taken me from a 60% hit rate to 80% in my trading – all publicly posted live trades).

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid risk – so often I avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks later in the day after the wash-out looking for a snap-back. Free scanners to find momentum stocks that you can easily review charts of for indicators that bring probability of your trade being successful up considerably. These are not useful for first 30 minute market open gap and go type plays (you need a good momentum scanner, level 2, and best to have hot-keys for the first 30 mins of gap and go trading)… but are very useful for intra day scalping and swing trading (start with trending stocks and then look at indicators intra for simple set-ups – study scan study scan study scan).

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid risk – so often I avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks later in the day after the wash-out looking for a snap-back. These are not useful for first 30 minute market open gap and go type plays (you need a good momentum scanner, level 2, and best to have hot-keys for the first 30 mins of gap and go trading)… but are very useful for intra day scalping and swing trading (start with trending stocks and then look at indicators intra for simple set-ups – study scan study scan study scan).

Review of my Chat Room Stock Day Trades for Monday Nov 7, 2016.

Intro:

In addition to chat (per below), this trade-room has live voice broadcast (that covers in detail what indicators I am looking for in and out off each trade) and has live chart screen sharing right from my monitor to the room with all indicators I am looking at.

Today’s Trades

Today was a very frustrating day!!! I didn’t want to stress on it while in chat room but my exchange data problem from ICE (see post earlier) almost sent me over the edge because of course I thought IN PART it was our fault or something… so we ran test after test on our software and hardware almost until 2 PM lol!!! Then, we find out it wasn’t our problem at all ha ha ha.

WHICH, that reminds me…. we have so much to do around here getting set-up that I can’t say exactly when this is going to start but I am going to test my ability to compound small accounts and shoot for either a 3 month or more likely a 6 month 10k to 1.14 MM compound on a small account – we just need a few days to form our plan and then we’ll start posting daily on it. 6 months BTW would be about 4 times as fast so instead of 1% per day that would be 4% per day compound (or 4 successful 1% trades per day and with 1 or 2 not working that’s basically a trade an hour – NOT EASY BUT POSSIBLE). I had the FX: $USOIL $WTI play pegged early in day because I knew the market was in bull mode and oil has been depressed – so in other words it had a catalyst and I have indicators and technical tooling most traders don’t… so I just need it to move (up or down).

My Stock Trading Plan for Thursday November 4, 2016.

Good morning Wall Street traders! The election is near, it Payroll day… and will the market continue to sell-off? Even more importantly… can I get to the pool before the rain comes – soooo beautiful during trading hours and then lightening thunder and rain right when I get there – EVERYDAY.

My trading plan today (like my post market report last night) will be very brief… both because we were up all night with equipment and software upgrades and because from now until the election not much has changed….

EXCEPT…

I pivoted late day to a contrarian play and put my money where my mouth is on it and took $XIV trades with BOTH my small day trade account and large swing account. I may or may not move in and out of that position! Stay nimble!

THE MARKET CAN STAY….. you know the rest.

Morning Momentum / Yesterday Gainers:

Prior to election I doubt I will take a morning momo play… after election yes most days I do… but morning momo is going to be a tough play IMO – that is was I have mostly sat on my hands in the morning.

IF YOU WANT TO BLOW UP YOUR ACCOUNT… MESS UP MORNING MOMO!!!

It is a bit early to post momo plays so I will post them as I see them of interest in the room and on my Twitter feed as time allows.

Anyway, from yesterday I am following:

$IQNT, $MPG, $TCCO, $EVI, $ENOC, $DRYS – Shippers and Twitter and others…

Crude Oil – FX $USOIL, $WTI | $USO $DWTI $UWTI $CL_F Etc….

EPIC the Oil Algo new algorithmic calculations are not published yet for the new price / time zone… I wouldn’t expect them until before market open Monday because the price has done NOTHING since it dropped in to it’s new zone… it did slice right through a target on Wed at 10:30 AM (red circles) and looks like it will do the same for today’s 1:00 PM algo target. You can see on the chart how the algos are trading up to the algo trendline (red dotted line) and it has done not much else – but it is UNDER that red dotted line – caution IMO.

Gold, Silver, Miners, Metals… ($JNUG, $JDST, $GDX, $NUGT, $DUST, $GLD, $SLV, $USLV etc…)

My position is intact… prior to election downdraft I was looking for downdraft (one) in Gold and Silver (if you go back to my posts you will see consistency there) and I also am prepared for Gold and Silver among others to take off… I am watching. Watch $FXY.

Natural Gas ($UGAZ, $DGAZ… etc)

No clue – no clue at all – it should be running. Just like silver should be IMO.

Volatility $VIX ($UVXY, $XIV, $TVIX etc)

I think $VIX insurance was a tad over-done yesterday… but of course I have been wrong before – so I took a contrarian trade in $XIV and we’ll see. RR was good and I have room in my win rate to fail once in a while:)

US Dollar Index $DXY $UUP and $HYG, $TLT etc..

It is threatening support – I would be cautious. You never know what kind of manipulation is coming over next few trading days – I AM WATCHING IT like a hawk. The dollar, credit, $HYG, $TLT, $DXY, China $CNY and other currencies etc…. I am watching very close.

Twitter

This is such an interesting play for me now – I was interested until recently – but now I am ESPECIALLY with some big name tech companies TANKING.

In Summary… between now and the election it is all about being nimble for me.

The trade room could get really exciting or be the most boring few trading days on record!

Looking for potential follow-through on $BRCO, $INTX, $HMNY, $NTP, $TWTR, $CETX, $NVCN, $ATOS, $AUY

I won’t explain in detail what I’m looking for in this forum (I’ll do that in that trade room for each that are considered as / if they are considered).

Monday’s momo:

On Watch: Morning Momentum stocks TBD.

$SPY Set-up / Volatility $XIV $TVIX $UVXY $VXX 

I think there is a set-up with $SPY… wait for volatility and play it – beyond that I’m not trading $SPY or related instruments because I believe the Fed is in there and has it pinned – period. Not enough width IMO.

My problem with $VIX is that I can’t take a trade this high in $UVXY etc. because I would want $VIX closer to 13 (but it may get away on me) and I can’t take a trade in $XIV etc because I don’t expect volatility to settle down before the election. So I’m watching very close between now and the election. I believe there will be daily opportunity here starting Wednesday at latest – there was lots of “insurance” buys Monday… so Tuesday may even open an opportunity.

There is nothing broken in the US Dollar Index chart IMO. The continued targets I’ve previously posted stand unless conditions change.

If you’re thinking of taking a position in Gold Miner’s this is good to follow. Last night it started to turn around and miner’s ran Monday (so no surprise and should have been an easy trade – distracted lol) so watch it if it continues to rise 9/10 times miner’s will follow… I even watch it with Gold plays and even before I take a small cap Gold company or miner position.

Watch $DXY US Dollar Index – when it gets flight so does the small cap bear $TZA typically – it can be a great daytrade.

If you think Trump is going to win you want to short $EWW or play $SMK (however thinly traded).

So crude had a significant downdraft Monday (OPEC / non OPEC couldn’t get it together I guess)… and ended up trading down to a diagonal trend-line (blue) from a previous time / price cycle and very near a horizontal price support (purple) and it appears that it will be heading for the nearest target EPIC the Oil Algo called. And to make matters worse (if you review a simple chart) the neckline support with oil has been breached (not that I give that much consideration).

I was going to take a long position in $UWTI at end of day but didn’t and will strongly consider one in the morning.

Gold / Gold Miners – $DUST $JDST (Bear) / $NUGT $JNUG $GDX $GDXJ (Bull) / #Gold $GLD

Looking for entry $GLD at 114.00 / 115.00 area – but I don’t think I will get that before the election.

Gold at 1266.65 is still one level up from my target closer to 1177.00.

On Friday I wrote that I expected Gold Miner’s to run Monday and that occurred – I will be watching them close. There again wanted a pull-back I don’t think I’m going to get.

Going in to election I am very bullish most commodities. I am currently running charts on miner companies too.

My position with Silver ($SLV) is similar as that with Gold ($GLD) in that I am waiting for one more downdraft – here again I may not get that.

Here also, with natural gas I am looking for one level lower for an entry. It’s at 2.99 overnight and an ideal entry would be 2.86 (or at least a review there).

$UGAZ was off 9.42% on Monday so I will watch close Tuesday.

Today’s Trading Results – Post StockMarket Report $DWTI, $BRCD and more.

Review of my Stock DayTrades for Monday October 31, 2016.

My day online with wallstreet started about 8 hours before market open… getting my Pre Market Report ready… because of course it was our first day in our new chat room!

 

And ohhhh it was a good one (the premarket report)… and then WHAM! we were given our first opportunities in patience this morning when the internet throttled everything … I mean everything we were doing (my mobile couldn’t even run my twitter feed for the first hour let alone bandwidth intensive software), we couldn’t onboard many guests and more lol… so it will be nice when our permanent offices here are set-up soon. Until then we will continue on (with some minor aggravations like limited screen share but most issues we have arranged temporary solutions to get by).

Anyway… it actually worked out ok anyway because the market was really quite in the morning – especially the momentum plays… they did come alive but faded and there was no power hour to speak of. I did have the miners set for a possible buy and they did run – but I would have been light because I am pensive about running too far with them too fast – but soon I think they’re gone along with metals…. so it is a balance.

Momentum Stocks

The stock scanners are working really well (here’s a free stock scanner from Finviz if you’d like), that was proven in the room this morning. I looked on my Twitter feed (did symbol searches to see who was on it first) and our alerts with momentum stocks were within seconds of the first alerts – which considering that is not our primary trading thing… not bad I suppose.

$BCRD was the first momentum stock with a halt. I took an entry at 10.46 (missed the initial spike after halt – it really hit unusually hard there)… then added at 10.61 looking for follow through to 10.94.

Of course in the chat room the folks in there knew in advance of my Twitter stream what I was doing and where I added and where I was trimming. The voice broadcasting in the trade room seems to be an asset for sure – I think I and the other traders will find it useful (very quick and efficient and right on top of the action).

Then $NVCN was on a rocket ship…

And there were other plays – so we shared the charts, some  voice broadcast and plays on $INTX, $HMNY, $NTD, $TWTR, $CETX, $BRCD, $NVCN, $ATOS, $AUY and my favorite miss of the day YUP because I was distracted $JNUG and I guess $TVIX or $UVXY.

Crude Oil $USOIL $WTI

Crude had an awful day but it gave me a chance to trail out of my large swing position in $DWTI from a few weeks back in 1/3 chunks so that worked really for me – for my second win of the day.

Through-out the day in the room I was looking for a bounce in crude over and over again because of course it normally bounces at trend-line support, Fibonacci retracements, or algorithmic trend-lines…. but nope it did not so I did not take a day-trade on $UWTI or any oil small cap stocks etc.

I see this evening it did get lift and IT GOT LIFT RIGHT WHERE I WAS GOING TO TAKE A TRADE EOD in the chat-room but decided against it.
