Current Holds / Trading Plan:

All small to mid size holds in this order according to sizing – $UWT, $BSTG, $ONTX, $VRX, $ASM, $SSH, $LGCY, $TRCH, $ESEA, $DUST (looking for a way out on $DUST – was expecting one final significant spike in USDJPY before drop – didn’t get it so hoping for a pull back in miners soon – if not I’ll have to take the loss). $CBMX I am now out for huge gains.

As noted before I may exit $VRX and $UWT.

Market Outlook / Trading Plan:

Per previous; My outlook is very similar to yesterday. It seems Crude Oil $WTI has pushed its trade range right up near resistance to parallel $Gold, $Silver, and the $DXY US Dollar – they are all at decisions. Interesting scenario. $VIX is still dead and $SPY has another leg forming. The markets seem pensive but bullish at the same time. Again, interesting IMO.

Many of our traders have killed it last few days – fantastic to see congrats!

Per previous; I am really interested in where the bottom is for natural gas, so I am watching $UGAZ close. I think Mathew tagged 2.54 as a possible bounce area in the room yesterday and this morning it did tag that area and has bounced a bit. Also watching the resistance in oil as you know to possibly exit the $UWT swing soon. Also really curious to see what Gold and Silver and the Dollar do here with the Trump trade follow through.

My eyes are on; $PTX, $NAK, $CIM, $CBMX, $OWCP, $THCT, $CNBX, $BSTG, $NE and small cap oil.

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid risk – so often I avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks later in the day after the wash-out looking for a snap-back. Just prior to open and shortly after open I post momentum stocks to the trade chat room (and Twitter and Stocktwits if I have time).

I had a blast Wednesday as did our members. In fact Tuesday and Wednesday were two of the bigger days this year for our members. Being on top of the market currents helps – our crew has been right on top of it. Nice trading group for sure!

I got out of $JUNO swing with nice gains yesterday and $CBMX swing Wednesday after market for near 100% gains.

Trade during the day was a series of snipes – I was trading with my small account and increased the account size by 26% in one day! Going to do a recap video on weekend on how I did it.

Trading and The Markets Looking Forward:

Recent notes in post market reports that still apply,

“The small and micro momentum stocks continue to pop, however, traders need to be cautious because often its the low floats and thin trade can be difficult to chip out of positions – caution warranted in many ways.”

“These low float micros have in past signaled the end of a cycle in the market – keep that in mind.”

“Our standard plays that reflect the six algorithm charting we do are all at decisions at either support or resistance so this should get really interesting soon.”

Per yesterday, “Our swing trading side continues to outperform all my expectations for 2017 (you can find the most recent unlocked swing trading newsletter on our blog) – I had a feeling it was going to do well, just didn’t quite expect a grandslam. We’re in the middle of compiling our next set of stock picks for the swing trading members and will have them out over next few days – hopefully that batch will bring the same type of returns as the new year batch did and continue to in most instances.

US Dollar $DXY $USDJPY $UUP:

$DXY US Dollar is threatening to the trend reversal side, but not confirmed, awaiting market direction.

Gold $GLD $XAUUSD / Gold Miner’s $GDX:

Silver $SLV:

Silver is at what consider key resistance.

Crude Oil $USOIL $WTI:

Crude oil continues to threaten a key support area that we have used as an area of accumulation long (we’re long as long as the trend is in place – the trend is your friend and we’re trading the range until it isn’t).

Volatility $VIX:

Volatility continues its flat line.

$SPY S&P 500:

Per recent, “$SPY continues the break-out. Trade the Fibs and buy the dip until you can’t. Respect stops.”

Natural Gas:

Natural gas did loose the 200 day and the next most probable Fibonacci line is at 2.74 ish, however, in overnight trade it did gets some upside momentum – so the jury is out on $NATGASUSD.

Current Holds / Trading Plan:

All small to mid size holds in this order according to sizing – $UWT, $BSTG, $ONTX, $VRX, $ASM, $SSH, $LGCY, $TRCH, $ESEA, $CBMX, $DUST (looking for a way out on $DUST – was expecting one final significant spike in USDJPY before drop – didn’t get it so hoping for a pull back in miners soon – if not I’ll have to take the loss). $CBMX is a hold till late spring if necessary (you would have to do your own DD on the company and make your own determination).

I entered $RNVA AM the other day small position and exited yesterday. I haven’t alerted $RNVA and $BSTG trades because I expect to be in and out of them and a few other micros lots over the next while… also have $BLPH, $OWCP, $TENX, $ACST and others on this micro watchlist.

As noted before I may exit $VRX and $UWT.

I was asked by a member last night whether I alert my swing trades in the room or on SMS and Email from our swing trade subscription side and the answer is no, I keep them separate. The swing trading service isn’t a live alert service.

Market Outlook / Trading Plan:

My outlook is very similar to yesterday. It seems Crude Oil $WTI has pushed its trade range right up near resistance to parallel $Gold, $Silver, and the $DXY US Dollar – they are all at decisions. Interesting scenario. $VIX is still dead and $SPY has another leg forming. The markets seem pensive but bullish at the same time. Again, interesting IMO.

Many of our regulars in the room were killing momos yesterday… which by the way is interesting how these can sneak up on you… I reviewed a number of them and the follow through was definitely better in these on Wednesday – there were a number of them. When I seen some of our members in $EYEG right out of the gate at market open I thought oh no… but it worked out for them – in conversations I had with members through the day and after market it seems the group did really well. I missed the momos because I was expecting the follow through to be light – but I was wrong on that.

I am really interested in where the bottom is for natural gas, so I am watching $UGAZ close. I think Mathew tagged 2.54 as a possible bounce area in the room yesterday and this morning it did tag that area and has bounced a bit. Also watching the resistance in oil as you know to possibly exit the $UWT swing soon. Also really curious to see what Gold and Silver and the Dollar do here with the Trump trade follow through.

$FNMA is my shoulda from yesterday, I was all over it when it came off hard and was going to take an entry on the snap back and its up 23% in premarket trading at 3.32.

$ONCS is up 32% trading at 1.85 premarket.

$OIL in multi-week range and has resistance coming, $GOLD and $SILVER are struggling with resistance (Rosie the Algo pointed out at the bottom turn weeks back) and have been struggling with that resistance going back ten calendar days, $USDJPY $DXY are at support threatening break-outs or break-downs and natural gas $NG_F looks like it is near an interim bottom BUT it did lose its 200 day yesterday intra-day and as of this morning it has not recovered. $NATGASUSD chart https://www.tradingview.com/chart/9SENGc51/.

The day started fairly decent, my morning momos didn’t go at the bell so I didn’t take a trade but there were some premarket momos $SCON $XTLB and others that some members did take trades on but I didn’t.

We had some pro traders come in to the room and that was awesome – Mathew (associate trader in our room) ran a really good market update and chat / broadcast was a good learning experience for the beginners and a good intra day refresher for the experienced.

As I was locking in on some nice prospect tickers for trades and then the Trump news conference started and that kind of took the wind out of the sails of active trade on the markets and then it recovered after. Interesting Presidential media news conference in my opinion:)

The $PSIX halt we were all over in the room and I was going to trade the snap back, but yup once again a tad distracted… but two members I spoke to after market reported great trades on it.

I added to my long position in $BSTG a micro play and that was it on the day. Watching the main currency, commodity and similar plays for inflection point (either at support or resistance). My cost average in $BSTG is .325 – started entries at .305.

Per recent, “$SPY continues the break-out. Trade the Fibs and buy the dip until you can’t. Respect stops.”

Natural Gas:

Natural gas did loose the 200 day and the next most probable Fibonacci line is at 2.74 ish, however, in overnight trade it did gets some upside momentum – so the jury is out on $NATGASUSD.

Current Holds / Trading Plan:

All small size – $UWT, $ONTX, $VRX, $ASM, $SSH, $LGCY, $TRCH, $ESEA, $CBMX, $JUNO, $DUST (looking for a way out on $DUST – was expecting one final significant spike in USDJPY before drop). $CBMX and $JUNO are holds till spring if necessary (you would have to do your own DD on the companies and make your own determination).

General Market Outlook:

Most of my outlook is similar to yesterday – it seems we are in a cycle of groundhog days, although we do expect a pullback in $SPY soon and the metals look like they’re going to get aggressive again – whether they’ll break-out or snap back after some action is yet to be seen.

$SPY has been active and continues break-out but we do think it will rest / have an interim pullback, $VIX is flat and we are watching for spikes, $OIL in multi-week range and has resistance coming, $GOLD and $SILVER are struggling with resistance (Rosie the Algo pointed out at the bottom turn weeks back) and have been struggling with that resistance going back ten calendar days ($SILVER more bull due to industrial tech use of material) HOWEVER on tighter time frames Gold has broken the Bull wedge and popped out of its coiling – so take that for what it is AND there is a lot of inflation chatter, $USDJPY $DXY are at support threatening break-outs or break-downs (intra it looks like a break-down in $USDJPY may be more possible) and natural gas looks like it is near an interim bottom.

Overview Perspective & Review of Markets, Chat Room, Algo Calls, Trades and Alerts:

Premarket was again a very busy and impressive premarket. Normally our room is quiet premarket with folks preparing for the day, but there were some traders that couldn’t resist.

Anyway, one of our traders hit three huge movers in the premarket ($FNCX, $EVOK, $FIG) and nearly doubled her account size before the bell even rang – and then she kept hitting later in the day on $ZSAN and $EDIT – as did others).

My big win was on $NOVN and Mathew was moving around his trade positions too. EPIC the Oil Algo hit the 10:30 Tuesday target dead on this morning so our $USOIL $WTI Oil related long hold in $UWT is doing well.

We have a really skilled group in the room – not that I have anything against the rooms with early traders, but it is nice to have a large percentage that are skilled – and best of all, our early traders mature in to positive returns faster than most I think (because of the other traders in their midst). It seems that way anyway.

The $NOVN trade I knocked out of the park (it terms of timing but not in terms of percentage gains like the other traders in our room hit the 70% type wins in premarket). I took an alert in the room on a halt in $NOVN and when it re-opened for trade hit it right away for 3000 shares and then near immediate for another 6000 long. My cost average was just under 6.60 and I closed for 7.70 (near the top of the spike).

Some of our SMS and email alert folks asked me today why they did not receive the trade alert from me – on these really quick ones it’s impossible – from the time I entered long to my exit it was less than 70 seconds (if I remember right) – so in that 1 minute there is no possible way to alert. I couldn’t even alert the room in a perfect way – I did, but it wasn’t perfect. Mathew was doing a voice broadcast updating our room on the markets, commodities, currencies etc during the time also.

One way to fix that is on Twitter you can get my Tweets live notifications (you can set this on your feed) and you can also subscribe to the room and get live text interaction in the room. I know these two options may not be possible as some folks work etc and thats why you get the SMS alerts and are not in the room. So we are endeavoring to get you every single trade (no matter how quick) on SMS and email, but it isn’t always possible.

Most of my outlook is similar to yesterday.

$SPY has been active and continues break-out, $VIX flat and we are watching for spikes, $OIL in multi-week range and near support in premarket – I took a long position in oil related $UWT a few days ago at support and will likely add at support as long as it doesn’t fail support and will close trade at multi-week resistance, $GOLD and $SILVER and struggling with resistance ($SILVER a tad more bull due to industrial tech use of material), $USDJPY $DXY are at support threatening break-outs and natural gas looks like its near an interim bottom.

Overview Perspective & Review of Markets, Chat Room, Algo Calls, Trades and Alerts:

$ZAIS, $GALT, $PHMD, $RELV, $CYNO, $LPTH were the big movers Tuesday. I was in $GALT ended flat but many of the members in premarket and the open hit the momentum stocks (got a lot of DM messages, it was active).

The room was quieter than normal and most members I spoke to were studying and reconciling accounts / looking over trade plans etc.

I spoke to members that were in most of the plays $ZAIS, $GALT, $PHMD, $RELV, $CYNO, $LPTH and most didn’t get chopped up and were on winning side if they were in them, good group of traders in the room and the newer traders continue to share there appreciation for the wisdom found in there. So all good!

Natural gas we were all over in the morning also, I didn’t take a trade but many in our room did catch $UGAZ spike and all I spoke to sold in to the spike and some re-bought this morning or are again.

Looking Forward:

The small and micro momentum stocks continue to pop, however, traders need to be cautious because often its the low floats and thin trade can be difficult to chip out of positions – caution warranted in many ways.

Our standard plays that reflect the six algorithm charting we do are all at decisions at either support or resistance so this should get really interesting soon. Epic our oil algorithm Tuesday 4:30 target area hit (not perfect to the cent and second but trade was in target area).

Our swing trading side continues to outperform all my expectations for 2017 (you can find the most recent unlocked newsletter on our blog) – I had a feeling it was going to do well, just didn’t quite expect a grandslam. We’re in the middle of compiling our next set of stock picks for the swing trading members and will have them out over next few days – hopefully that batch will bring the same type of returns as the new year batch did and continue to in most instances.

US Dollar $DXY $USDJPY $UUP:

$DXY US Dollar is threatening to the trend reversal side, but not confirmed yet.

Gold $GLD $XAUUSD / Gold Miner’s $GDX:

Gold and Miner’s are both at what we consider key resistance.

Silver $SLV:

Silver is at what consider key resistance area also.

Crude Oil $USOIL $WTI:

Crude oil in premarket touched key support – this could get interesting if it loses support. There are a few other supports just under are of trade, but not much. Multi week trade range support for example is just under current area of trade.

Volatility continues its flat line.

$SPY S&P 500:

$SPY continues the break-out. Trade the Fibs and buy the dip until you can’t. Respect stops.

Natural Gas:

It seems to be near a low IMO.

Momentum Trades:

As noted above, the low float micros and small cap issues continue in momo.

Swing Trading:

As noted above, we have literally sent one out of the park after another. Continues to look good forward.
