Today was all about EPIC’s massive price predicts being so on target in Oil and I took a morning momentum stock trade in $MTBC small size that worked out well and an OTC $MTBC that I meant to close for a profit and forgot all about it (again my office out of control busy lately). And of course the swing trade side continues to rock (there are some trades listed below in swing trading section) and the algorithms continue to crush it.

Tuesday everyone (literally) in the room was winning – great group in there – feel like a proud dad. Anyway, it was a great day BUT we missed getting part of the transcript of that damn server issue with that trading room we are testing (the first part), but the raw trading room video is in full but still the video doesn’t tell the whole story (chat etc). But a great day.

Two clean trades today with wins – one in $CLNT and one in $UWT (details further below in post). The swing trades of course were rocking for me on that side of our platform (some listed below) and of course the algorithm trading side you can’t compete with – that is going very well also. Great day and a great year.

Curt M_1: if oil loses that orange line then there’s only one more below (the grey one down below) and then oil tanks all over again. So then you watch for a rumor at the orange or grey line – rumor comes all the time there. Well not all the time but you know what I mean. they know the chart
Spiegel: by rumor you mean a rumor leaked to the media about something that will affect oil prices?

Curt M_1: when price hits magic algo lines they start the rumor mill
Curt M_1: no rumor when price hits below grey line short
Curt M_1: if rumor comes at grey line long
Curt M_1: But there’s always a yellow line about .20 cents under the grey line and that’s the zone or area of support – they hammer the stops between the grey line and yellow line and then take off again

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid risk – so often I avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks later in the day after the wash-out looking for a snap-back. Got a decent momentum play first thing in the morning on $IDXG for about a 600.00 win and then later played it again only to have an intra-day 8-K offering slam it. So I was red on day by about 1200.00. One of my bigger losses on year so far. I got so used to winning I forgot what it was like to take a loss. Now, on my accounts very small relative but still sucks. A good reminder to always set stops, even on smaller entries. But this does highlight the need to keep your risk management and sizing in check.

Free scanners to find momentum stocks that you can easily review charts of for indicators that bring probability of your trade being successful up considerably. These are not useful for first 30 minute market open gap and go type plays (you need a good momentum scanner, level 2, and best to have hot-keys for the first 30 mins of gap and go trading)… but are very useful for intra day scalping and swing trading (start with trending stocks and then look at indicators intra for simple set-ups – study scan study scan study scan).

$HTGM Premarket on fire with news. +30% Last round was awesome – again?

In play today in chat room and on markets:

Premarket was in $CBLI $WPRT $HTGM and then on the day leader-board included $CBLI, $MOCO, $SCON, $SCON, $WKHS, $ALR and a few others. On OTC side it was $MMEX running mad.

$CLBI, Stock, Trading, Results, Post, Market
$CLBI up 141% Members is the room have a homerun on this today. I missed ha. They held right from open. Nice play.

$MMEX up 78% off the watch list. Held 200 day and boom.

I took a small paper-cut on $CBLI at open, took a small long in $LIGA and added a 2nd position long to $DUST (inverse Gold play – short Gold miner’s actually $GDX) and now I am in 2/5 size $DUST at 1000 shares.

Holding $DWT because of course EPIC the Algo has been rocking the show and not missing a beat.

And our MEMBERS HIT $CBLI OUT OF THE PARK!!! I say that because I talk to members and they tell me when they enter and exit even if they don’t publish publicly etc and there were some massive wins I MEAN MASSIVE – one win was over 50,000.00 on that one daytrade. They held right from open all the way to the end of the day. I’ve identified five members that are up over 200% so far this year!!! Way outperforming myself at about 50% YTD.

$CLBI up 141% Members is the room have a homerun on this today. I missed ha. They held right from open. Nice play.

Off mic till noon chart set-up review. Not best open w $HTGM, $CBLI, $RPRX, $WPRT etc Took a tiny papercut on long $CBLI and that was it.

The trade results are meant to highlight the application of the trading discipline being applied here. So yes, while they may be attractive, it’s not an excuse to discard your own sense of risk management, what kind of positions you’d like to take, etc.

Premarket was in $OCRX $STAF $EYES $AAOI $TVIA and then on the day it was $NVET, $CALI, $STRM, $VSTM and a few others. I didn’t trade any day-trades but did some Swing Trading management on that platform.

On the OTC side my $LIGA call was playing out well.

Also on top of $USOIL, $WTI intensely of course because I am in $DWT and Gold $GLD because I am in 1/5 small position in $DUST and $XIV, $VIX, $SPX, $SPY play getting interesting to me so watching very closely.
