Overview Perspective & Review of Markets, Chat Room, Algo Calls, Trades and Alerts:

Traded out of my $OPXA weekend for small gain, scalped $DRYS seven times, scalped $VRX, and flat on a few others. Eleven trades with an average 300.00 profit – a day in the office to say the least. All of which I couldn’t alert outside of room because they were all minutes / scalps.

The real story of the day was Mathew killing with our members (being on the right side of the metals trade and others) and a visit from Hedge Hog trader in our room – he spent the day as a guest and served up some insight to our members about stocks he’s watching. If you aren’t following our associate trader Mathew and Nicholas (HedgeHog Trader) on Twitter you should be. They’re both masters of the game.

Also (per previous), I’m still on the wrong side of that Gold / Miners / Silver trade and I have absolutely no excuse because I knew months in advance the bottom call from Rosie the Gold Algo and SuperNova Silver Algo – and I even doubled down on $DUST the other day. HOWEVER, Gold does have two very significant hurdles coming overhead that have low probabilities of price action clearing (with-out a pull back) – unless of course geopolitical reasons change that.

Looking Forward:

I am of course watching our standards that apply to our algorithmic charting.

US Dollar $DXY and $USDJPY failed support and tanked Monday – will be interesting to see what BOJ does next.

$GOLD, Miners and $SILVER blew through resistance but have a series of very significant algorithmic chart modeling and classic charting decisions on deck soon.

$OIL was near / at decision resistance and backed off Monday.

$VIX is still near dead.

$SPY came off a bit Monday but nothing to consider.

Still playing morning momos and expect it to be active Tuesday.

Also watching some new plays talked about in room below today, and $ZAIS, $FNMA (Trump play – not currently in but have been trading them), $OPXA (out Monday morning as noted but I like the chart), $ASM (great story referred by HedgeHog Trader, watching very close), $DUST (looking for intermin Gold reversal as I am in 2/5 size so I may hammer other 3/5 and play a turn for a flat goal), $JUNO and $CBMX (will hold in to late spring if needed and may add), $TRCH and $LGCY (oil and Trump play).

Good day, traded $OPXA (hold) $ZAIS and oil related $UWT again for wins. Have some good ones one watch also for Monday I think. Still haven’t found a way to really size in yet though – would like to see that this week.

Also, I’m still on the wrong side of that Gold / Miners / Silver trade and I have absolutely no excuse because I knew months in advance the bottom call from Rosie the Gold Algo and SuperNova Silver Algo – and I even doubled down on $DUST the other day. HOWEVER, Gold does have two very significant hurdles coming overhead that have low probabilities of price action clearing (with-out a pull back) – unless of course geopolitical reasons change that.

Looking Forward:

I am of course watching our standards that apply to our algorithmic charting – everything is near a series of decisions. US Dollar $DXY and $USDJPY at support decision, $GOLD $SILVER at decision resistance, $OIL at decision resistance, $VIX is almost dead, $SPY came alive some in Friday trade.

Still playing morning momos and waiting for the current decisions to play out.

Also watching $ZAIS, $IMFI, $FNMA (Trump play – not currently in but have been trading them), $OPXA (in small and looking for a run – like the chart), $ASM (great story referred by HedgeHog, watching very close), $DUST (looking for intermin Gold reversal as I am in 2/5 size so I may hammer other 3/5 and play a turn for a flat goal), $JUNO and $CBMX (will hold in to late spring if needed and may add), $TRCH and $LGCY (oil and Trump play).

Trading Room Transcripts and Post Market Trading Reports – Some members have asked about trading room transcript accessibility, we are currently interviewing providers and should have an announcement early next week. The post market trading result reports that we haven’t posted over the last few weeks we will catch up on this weekend and going forward will do our best to get them out daily, but I get it, the more convenient and timely the data is the better – so we’re working on that solution right now.

Per previous;

Morning Emails: Multiple emails and / or complimentary issues end this Friday. As of Monday this will change, as will passwords for each algorithm daily.

Discounts: We ended our inaugural discount offer to the public last night but a few members have asked for an extension because they are traveling etc…. so we can do that just for existing members until this weekend also… but please after that lets just leave that be because we don’t want to run a sales promo room environment.

SMS / Email Alerts: The SMS and emails alerts – sometimes we can’t alert, so this scenario occurred in Tuesday trade, I was in and out of $DRYS and it was high risk very volatile and I likely did ten or more trades – impossible to alert. Anyway, in most market environments that doesn’t occur, but I thought I would just clarify.

Current Holds:

$LGCY, $TRCH, $ESEA, $CBMX, $JUNO (all very small), $DUST (looking for a way out on $DUST – was expecting one final significant spike in USDJPY before drop). $CBMX and $JUNO are holds till spring if necessary (you would have to do your own DD on the companies and make your own determination).

General Market Outlook:

Interesting times. Gold sitting on support, Silver on support, as is $USDJPY and $DXY. $SPY near dead but has got some jig this morning, $VIX near dead and $OIL near break-out. I would say sometime between now and end of Tuesday we get fireworks. My guess either this afternoon or it starts Sunday night.

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid risk – so often I avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks later in the day after the wash-out looking for a snap-back. Just prior to open and shortly after open I post momentum stocks to the trade chat room (and Twitter and Stocktwits if I have time).

Free scanners to find momentum stocks that you can easily review charts of for indicators that bring probability of your trade being successful up considerably. These are not useful for first 30 minute market open gap and go type plays (you need a good momentum scanner, level 2, and best to have hot-keys for the first 30 mins of gap and go trading)… but are very useful for intra day scalping and swing trading (start with trending stocks and then look at indicators intra for simple set-ups – study scan study scan study scan).

Overview Perspective & Review of Chat Room, Algo Calls, Trades and Alerts:

I took a trade in oil related on Thursday and it was a perfect entry – couldn’t have been better. My sell was close to the top of the intra-day range also. THE MISTAKE I MADE was not re-entering after oil washed out again because in overnight trade oil held up. My concern of course is that we are getting so close to significant resistance on the oil chart that I didn’t want to hold. Oh wait, I did take the second trade (timed right) but I cut it flat and didn’t hold. That’s what happened sorry bout that. Anyway, the initial trade I reviewed on Periscope while in progress. Also, I’m still on the wrong side of that Gold / Miners / Silver trade and I have absolutely no excuse because I knew months in advance the bottom call from Rosie the Gold Algo and SuperNova Silver Algo – and I even doubled down on $DUST the other day. HOWEVER, Gold does have two very significant hurdles coming overhead that have low probabilities of price action clearing – unless of course geopolitical reasons change that.

Just a quick note / ramble to update our members on immediate and longer term developments for our charting reports, trade room and various stock trading services:

  • Morning Reports. Friday reports, those we are processing overnight – some do not require mid-week updates, will be VERY BRIEF mid week reports and full reports will be updated on weekend. All levels for all algorithmic charting models remain the same and our members have the existing levels.
    • $DXY Model – $DXY US Dollar / $USDJPY are at support decisions.
    • $GOLD is at a support decision.
    • $SILVER is at a support decision.
    • $VIX is trading within the model and classic indicators.
    • $OIL is testing important resistance decisions.
    • $SPY is trading within the model and classic indicators.
    • Swing Trading members have all current levels (more on updates below).
  • Algorithmic Chart Models Completing. This weekend we will be completing the last of what we consider Phase I of our algorithmic models. Phase I is defined as completing algorithmic chart models (for our traders to use on a traditional stock chart as an edge) to include all the important applicable levels for both classic charting and algorithmic chart modeling such as;
    • Classic indicator charting;
      • Fibonacci levels,
      • Horizontal trend-lines (support and resistance from various time cycles),
      • Diagonal trend-lines (support and resistance from various time cycles),
      • Swing trading range (margins of highest probability),
      • Various other classic indicators such as moving averages, MACD and more as applicable and most important to the specific equity charting.
    • Algorithmic chart modeling;
      • Alpha algo targets (specific time and price – see EPIC the Oil Algo for examples),
      • Alpha algo diagonal trend-lines (support and resistance),
      • Algo diagonal trend-lines based on Fibonacci modeling,
      • Algorithm time/price cycles (terminations),
      • Algorithm trading quadrants (related to time/price cycles and historical trading),
      • And more (all those fun indicators we are processing historical data on and representing on charts for our traders to use as an edge).
  • Miscellaneous Points. A few points about the status of our chart model development;
    • $DXY US Dollar is complete and testing very high so it will be published in full (testing similar to Gold, Silver and Oil models at 80% – 93% accuracy),
    • $VIX and $SPY will be published but are testing with the least predictability of the six.
    • The Gold and Silver algorithms – we are finished testing alpha algo lines – we have not been including these in reports to date (used for support and resistance) and algo targets (both similar to EPIC the Oil Algo charting)… new member updates will have those indicators on the charting like EPIC does. So this is actually big news for our Silver and Gold charting. For those wondering about the different kinds of algorithmic model indicators we endeavor to include in our models EPIC the Oil Algo is the best one to view to get an idea of the process and where we are going with each.
    • The swing trading service has been going extremely well, members have been sending all kinds of positive feedback. We will be significantly updating it this weekend. We also have been running model trading accounts for each swing service that we hope to get out soon – interesting results – very, very positive methodology evidence transpiring.
  • Profit and Loss Statements. My personal profit and loss statements for my large swing account and small account build are on our weekend publishing list too.
  • Daily Trading Results. I am behind on posting some of the daily trading results – will get those done also.
  • Your Feedback is Important! We have had a lot of email feedback from members, if you have any feedback please send it in, it really helps our planning and these to-do lists. It’s a community effort – your input is valuable. Ideas, thoughts, things we are doing right, things we can improve… please send us a note.
  • Weekly Webinars! We are also going to post a weekly webinar schedule this weekend for;
    • Members that would like a more in depth understanding of our charting and how to specifically use each chart for each equity will be able to attend weekly. Webinars will be done for our six algorithmic charting models, our swing trading service and our trading room. There will be one webinar each week at a set time for each service, every week. So yes, eight short webinars about 30 minutes each or 4 hours a week. If there is a day and/or time best for you weekly to take part please let us know for consideration!
    • Subscribers Considering our Services. We will be running a weekly webinar for those considering signing up that want to know more about our systems – we get so many inquiries – this way we can refer inquiring minds to a weekly 30 minute webinar that explains our algorithmic chart modeling and our swing service. So this will make it 4.5 hours of webinars done weekly.
  • Promo Discounts. So we did extend them for the members that asked, remember the promo codes shut down on weekend.

SMS / Email Alerts: The SMS and emails alerts – sometimes we can’t alert, so this scenario occurred in Tuesday trade, I was in and out of $DRYS and it was high risk very volatile and I likely did ten or more trades – impossible to alert. Anyway, in most market environments that doesn’t occur, but I thought I would just clarify.

Current Holds:

$LGCY, $ROKA, $TRCH, $ESEA, $CBMX, $JUNO (all very small), $DUST (looking for a way out on $DUST – was expecting one final significant spike in USDJPY before drop). $CBMX and $JUNO are holds till spring if necessary (you would have to do your own DD on the companies and make your own determination).

General Market Outlook:

Overnight Oil is near important resistance, Gold is above important resistance as is Silver, US Dollar is mid range but at reasonable important Fib test, VIX got a jump, and SPY is relatively calm. From an algorithmic modeling perspective trade is strong / precise. This means machines a fully on and this provides excellent precision in my trading (specific to our six algo chart models).

I’m on the wrong side of the $DUST trade and may have to cut if Gold, Dollar etc extend current action.

I’ve been a little sloppy lately – watching. Bottom line – it looks like Gold and Silver if they get much higher they will continue in a new trend – so it looks like decision area to me. Oil is in the same boar but it does have overhead resistance coming soon (moreso than the immediate one). As far as the market in general, I never bet against it unless its broken and correcting.

Momentum Stocks (Market Open and Intra-Day):

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid risk – so often I avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks later in the day after the wash-out looking for a snap-back. Just prior to open and shortly after open I post momentum stocks to the trade chat room (and Twitter and Stocktwits if I have time).

(1) Momentum Stock Wash-Outs for Snap Back, (2) Bad News Wash-outs on Stocks with High Institutional Ownership, (3) Getting on the Right Side of a Trend Change and scaling in my position and (4) Our Algorithm Set-Ups.

Free scanners to find momentum stocks that you can easily review charts of for indicators that bring probability of your trade being successful up considerably. These are not useful for first 30 minute market open gap and go type plays (you need a good momentum scanner, level 2, and best to have hot-keys for the first 30 mins of gap and go trading)… but are very useful for intra day scalping and swing trading (start with trending stocks and then look at indicators intra for simple set-ups – study scan study scan study scan).

With Fed, Facebook, Amazon and more it’s anyone’s guess – but I’m bias to bull side.

$SPY could pop easily IMO, $VIX is likely going to be trampled, Gold is at resistance, Silver at resistance but looks better than Gold, Miner’s have held up but Fed and USD/JPY could kick them to curb easily so I would be cautious, $DXY we have locked in so more detail this weekend, Oil is nearing a break-out or break-down that will be epic.

$JJC I continue to like… I started this sentiment in morning newsletters going back a few months now looking in to 2017.

$DRYS in post market and premarket has been surprising.

Bottom line is I would like to get some sizing going, looking seriously at $DUST for a long entry (I’m entering now as writing with fills in 30.50 range with 1000 shares), going to watching momentum stocks, copper, natural gas and earnings plays.

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid risk – so often I avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks later in the day after the wash-out looking for a snap-back. Volatility is here!!! Margin finally. Apple reports after market and Amazon Thursday – should get interesting. Morning chart reports show Gold, Silver near break outs, Oil near support, USDJPY near further break down and US Dollar confusing. VIX should be a good play today…. but most important is that margin has finally opened up! Thank you!

On the look out for great buys. Under Armour is interesting.

General Market Outlook:

The Trump crap is making things look bearish – but until $SPY chart broke it’s up and up. But we may get some volatility and who knows, maybe we’ll see a correction. We’ll know when and if it turns.

Gold and Silver still near the bottom range of our algo calls from last year, $USDJPY no decision yet as far as I’m concern (sure it’s off its highs but could it turn around and charge? Sure it could, not likely, but it could). $VIX is up a tad, but to be expected considering. Oil is near a considerable resistance and not far above that is a serious resistance that it rarely encounters.
