Even though my holds are small in size I would like to start focusing on trading out of some of these, if not all.
All small to mid size holds in this order according to sizing – $ONTX, $DUST, $USRM, $XOM, $NE, $BLKG, $DRYS, $ASM, $SSH, $LGCY, $TRCH, $ESEA, $MGTI.
Per recent’ $DUST I will close for a loss if Gold holds 1260 – sucks, but it was a relatively small position (to portfolio size) but I didn’t follow the golden rule… when a trade goes against your plan cut fast and I didn’t so I will likely pay the price. And I guess what has become the second golden rule… listen to the algos… they haven’t been wrong yet – so yes, I didn’t listen to my own invention ROSIE the Gold Algo (give Rosie a little plug there she deserves it lol). Embarrassing, especially because ROSIE nailed the bottom many weeks in advance of the bottom – all I had to do was listen and boom new house. Sad.
Market Outlook / Trading Plan:
Markets appear to be awaiting the Fed and a number of other factors. A bit of lift here.
My main newest watches for swing trading long are other than momentum stocks are $GSIT (possible semiconductor break-out), $AXP, $ABX, $RIG (higher lows), $XLE, $NFLX (turned long possible over 146.11), $URRE (wedge pattern), $TAN, $ABX, $WYNN (needs to confirm), $SLX, $TWLO, $X, $XME, $AKS, $TSLA over 262.20 and a few others.

If you are new to our trading service you should review recent blog posts, our YouTube Channel and at minimum our algorithm Twitter feeds because they do tell a story in terms of the market and how the inflections of the market determine our day to day trading. You will notice the algorithmic modelling has been undeniably accurate with many time-frames (intra-day, weeks and months out) so I myself have learned to respect their math (they have taken me from a 60% hit rate to 80% in my trading – all publicly posted live trades).

Members are reporting that they like the mobile service ability of YouTube Live better than Webinato but members need to know that they need to have a Google+ / Gmail account and sign in to YouTube and activate a channel to use the service. The live charts we share, to make them live you need to open the chart and click on the share button at bottom right of any of the charts and then click “make it mine”. This will enable the live chart in your browser in TradingView whether a member or or not of TradingView.
Overview Perspective & Review of Markets, Chat Room, Algo Calls, Trades and Alerts:
In play today in chat room; $DRWI, $ETRM, $DRYS, $TGTX, $OAKS, $JNUG, $DUST, $GOOGL, $COKE
$ETRM was traded by Market Maven in morning momo for a small loss, I got out of last 25% of $DRYS position and that was a nice swing that started last Thursday with adds along the way, Flash got out of a nice $COKE swing and a big $OAKS swing exit (which was his largest play from our January swings), Mathew and Flash continued in $JNUG I believe, I held on $DUST, my $GOOGL swing is rocking and the $TGTX play was big – that was alerted in the premarket chatroom newsletter as one of my watches. Also watching $NKE $X among others you can find on premarket newsletter or swing newsletters (depending on your sub).
I see that @EpictheAlgo nailed the bottom trading range of the current downdraft in oil trade. Nice to see the math works in that scenario. Our $SPY algo has been hitting extensions for weeks so that’s awesome and our Gold and Silver algos have big updates on deck (big in terms of maybe two or three of that significance would go out a year).
I am holding (in order of sizing – all moderate small size to micro sizing) – $DUST, $ONTX, $XOM, $NE, $BLKG, $DRYS, $USRM, $ASM, $SSH, $LGCY, $TRCH, $ESEA, $MGTI (this is the daytrading portfolio and does not represent swing trading service portfolio): Looking at moving out of all these small positions over the next month or so.
It’s FOMC day Wednesday so everything’s a tad stalled. If I had to guess, and this is completely a guess, Gold and Silver will tank a but more, the dollar will get a lift, $SPY will get a lift, Oil will get lift and things will go back to normal. Could be wrong of course but I’m wondering. Banks may come off too. But that’s all a wild guess. That’s not what the algos say necessarily and not what the charts say necessarily either.
The markets are looking a little toppy – we’ll see. As you will see below, with our new Swing Trading KISS post – I am paying close attention to the MACD on main charting I follow – at time of possible turn I find it simple.
Per recent, “Our swing trading side continues to outperform all my expectations for 2017 (you can find the most recent unlocked swing trading newsletter on our blog) – I had a feeling it was going to do well, just didn’t quite expect a grandslam. We’re in the middle of compiling our next set of stock picks for the swing trading members and will have them out over next few days – hopefully that batch will bring the same type of returns as the new year batch did and continue to in most instances.
Pre previous’ $VIX has been flat for some time, however, our algorithmic modeling suggests a possible time / price cycle coming due soon. It is possible the oil sell off was the time-price cycle of note. Here again will await weekend algo charting updates before I do much.

Trading Room Attendance: With our commercial multi-user algorithm chart modeling client platform launch, upcoming 24 hour oil trading room and coding for our algorithm models for our trader’s cockpit (you’d have to read our story on our website to understand our build-out plans)… I won’t be in the trading room as much starting Tuesday March 14, 2017. I expect to be in the room most days the first hour or two and then I have to turn my attention to the platform development daily and assistance our software developers require of me. I will still have my monitors on and will likely comment and/or run intra-day review broadcasts etc – I just won’t be in the room minute by minute.

Even though my holds are small in size I would like to start focusing on trading out of some of these, if not all.
All small to mid size holds in this order according to sizing – $ONTX, $DUST, $USRM, $XOM, $NE, $BLKG, $DRYS, $ASM, $SSH, $LGCY, $TRCH, $ESEA, $MGTI.
Per recent’ $DUST I will close for a loss if Gold holds 1260 – sucks, but it was a relatively small position (to portfolio size) but I didn’t follow the golden rule… when a trade goes against your plan cut fast and I didn’t so I will likely pay the price. And I guess what has become the second golden rule… listen to the algos… they haven’t been wrong yet – so yes, I didn’t listen to my own invention ROSIE the Gold Algo (give Rosie a little plug there she deserves it lol). Embarrassing, especially because ROSIE nailed the bottom many weeks in advance of the bottom – all I had to do was listen and boom new house. Sad.
Market Outlook / Trading Plan:
Markets appear to be awaiting the Fed and a number of other factors.
I do have $NFLX on watch as a short, and long watches for swings also $TAN, $ABX, $JNUG, $WYNN, $SLX, $TWLO, $X, $XME, $AKS and a few others.

If you are new to our trading service you should review recent blog posts, our YouTube Channel and at minimum our algorithm Twitter feeds because they do tell a story in terms of the market and how the inflections of the market determine our day to day trading. You will notice the algorithmic modelling has been undeniably accurate with many time-frames (intra-day, weeks and months out) so I myself have learned to respect their math (they have taken me from a 60% hit rate to 80% in my trading – all publicly posted live trades).
I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid risk – so often I avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks later in the day after the wash-out looking for a snap-back. Members are reporting that they like the mobile service ability of YouTube Live better than Webinato but members need to know that they need to have a Google+ / Gmail account and sign in to YouTube and activate a channel to use the service. We have had many not understand that so if you aren’t sure about procedure let us know and we will assist.
And lastly, the live charts we share, to make them live you need to open the chart and click on the share button at bottom right of any of the charts and then click “make it mine”. This will enable the live chart in your browser in TradingView whether a member or or not of TradingView.

Some of the members caught $CERU and $DVAX momentums in morning for great trades and gains – serious skill there. And Mathew was in $EUC and $CAT moves. Four seasoned traders at work in the room there today with some decent education for the learning trader.

The markets are looking a little toppy – we’ll see. As you will see below, with our new Swing Trading KISS post – I am paying close attention to the MACD on main charting I follow – at time of possible turn I find it simple.
Per recent, “Our swing trading side continues to outperform all my expectations for 2017 (you can find the most recent unlocked swing trading newsletter on our blog) – I had a feeling it was going to do well, just didn’t quite expect a grandslam. We’re in the middle of compiling our next set of stock picks for the swing trading members and will have them out over next few days – hopefully that batch will bring the same type of returns as the new year batch did and continue to in most instances.
Pre previous’ $VIX has been flat for some time, however, our algorithmic modeling suggests a possible time / price cycle coming due soon. It is possible the oil sell off was the time-price cycle of note. Here again will await weekend algo charting updates before I do much.

The markets are looking a little toppy – we’ll see. As you will see below, with our new Swing Trading KISS post – I am paying close attention to the MACD on main charting I follow – at time of possible turn I find it simple.

We’re in the middle of compiling our next set of stock picks for the swing trading members and will have them out over next few days – hopefully that batch will bring the same type of returns as the new year batch did and continue to in most instances.

The markets are in a difficult position right now for new swing trading entries, so I have spent time cleaning up the charting and expanded on various indicators I am looking for. We are closing as many swing positions as we can (or recently have) and are looking to our six standards ($SPY, $WTI, $VIX, Gold, Silver, $DXY) and related products to primarily swing trade until the market consolidates and / or pulls back temporarily. So most of this charting is in a wait and see mode but the indicators we are looking for are outlined, you may recall in recent reports we were waiting for the oil resistance to play out and it has – it failed. Feb 27, 2017 – Trading at 43.72 this beat up sector seems to be ripe for a bounce. If we execute a trade on Monday it will be to test the waters and watch the market sentiment day to day – this and price action will determine how long we are in it. An interim target however would be 46.80 and would likely change as the trade progresses.
March 12, 2017 – $EXP Eagle Building Materials MACD still on sell, but expanding volume in play with 100 MA test. On watch for bounce.

Feb 27, 2017 – “Eagles Materials Posted Record Revenues, Record Net Earnings and Record Net Earnings per Diluted Share. Its stock grew 60% in 2016 and still looks cheap.”
Eagle Materials is a riskier play than most we will add to our swing portfolio, but our DD on this one has us excited and we likely will take a long position early this week with a target of minimum 10% upside in next 90 days. We will however keep our stop tight.

Feb 27, 2017 – We find the $FIT trade interesting. Although we would never otherwise consider it and if we do enter today a long position it will be looked at as short term, we think there may be opportunity to swing trade it because it should be much lower considering its recent quarter… lower in that we expected a panic that did not occur. This seems bullish, or at minimum a likely “bargain” in our opinion.

Feb 12, 2017 – Trade Alert! We entered a trade long at a cost average 822.72 for 100 shares as soon as price was upside the 20 MA. This is an aggressive trade (being that we didn’t wait for a pull-back to 50, 100 or 200). We have a tight stop on the trade at 804.00 (just below its recent low (this would be a broken trade in our opinion at that point). So we are hoping this week is a strong week for Amazon. If not our aggressive move will cost us.

We haven’t got a pull back to the 200 day and depending on how tech does with Trump we may or may not, however, in overnight trade (premarket) price is close to the 100 day and I may take a test long position. This is one of our favorite picks so we will be quite aggressive with our attempts to get in at an inflection – so we are thinking sometime in the next few days looks decent.
My fourth priority is Amazon. I don’t want to over simplify this trade – but the bottom line is I’m looking for a pull-back and an entry as close to that 200 day (pink line with green arrow) as possible. I don’t think this stock will stop anytime soon. DD to follow soon.

But it hasn’t been excellent like many of my other picks. It does have a gap fill coming soon so if you are long I would ratchet up your stops as you near 22.70 area.

Feb 12, 2017 – This stock hasn’t slowed down since our entry at 2.59 (10000 shares) and doesn’t seem to want to return to the trendline support so our swing trade members can get in. It is trading perfectly in our prescribed range (albeit at the top) and closed at 3.90 on Friday – we have a 5.57 PT on it so I don’t if it is best to enter now – I wouldn’t unless it returns to the support line but some of the more aggressive swing trading members may want to consider it. Also, we will be ratcheting stops before earnings and even though earnings are expected to be strong we likely will not hold through earnings (or if we do it will be with tight stops).

My second priority is $CBMX. I am already in this swing and plan to enter in dips at the diagonal trend line (blue). Initial target area is around 5.57 with much greater potential upside. The Trump factor may cause this to come off a bit so my bias is toward late spring for first price target.

Feb 21, 2017 – We closed our position last week at 46.04 because sentiment in this sector started to turn. We may look at a re-entry, however, we are waiting for the crude oil resistance test to play out and would like to monitor sentiment.
Feb 12, 2017 – This has been a fantastic swing trade and many of our members have profited from it. We are holding and have moved up stops to a 5% drop.
It is currently trading at 45.70 and is up considerably for our members – our 2017 price target was 49.58 and our short term price targets were easily met.

My seventh priority is the VIX. I see a pull-back in the market coming and a lift in VIX. The primary trade I am looking for is actually a short in the VIX when it gets upside it’s bolllinger band (it’s a little more complicated than that – specifically with timing and I will be putting an alert out when I do it anyway) – I’ll also play some short term longs in $TVIX or $UVXY.

My third priority on this list are the miner’s – $GDX and leveraged friends. This one is risky but comes with large gains if miner’s get moving and price breaks in to next quadrant above the yellow one outlined on the chart below. And for the risk taker it can be traded with leveraged ETN’s. There are inherent risks however; one is that price is not at bottom of the trading quadrant so an entry here is not ideal and the obvious issue is the Trump factor.
Feb 21, 2017 – On the daytrading side I have been adding to a long that I though would be only days and turned in to a bit of a swing but did not alert it on the swing side because of the risk element. However, crude oil is over the resistance in overnight trade as I write and getting very close to the most significant resistance it has encountered in years. Stay tuned to updates this week, I expect to be putting out a number of updates this week because of this specific scenario. If crude does not handle resistance well I will short it heavily and will post a number of picks surrounding that play. If crude oil gets up over this significant resistance then I will go long and will post an alternate list of stock pics surrounding that play.
Feb 12 – Crude oil traded at resistance on Friday, some may opt to short here but we are waiting to see if price breaks to upside. Will advise.
Feb 7, 2017 Update: In overnight trade $USOIL is trading at 52.19 and there is a diagonal support trendline intra-day below at approximately 52.28 – we will be looking at taking a long position in that area if we can get it – with a tight 1% stop.
In overnight lab work our developers established a diagonal trendline (blue line in chart that has a blue arrow pointing at it) that has established itself as strong support. If you take a swing trade against that support (as as close to it as possible) then look to the upside of that white dotted arrow line as your target long. Ratchet up stops there.

And I guess what has become the second golden rule… listen to the algos… they haven’t been wrong yet – so yes, I didn’t listen to my own invention ROSIE the Gold Algo (give Rosie a little plug there she deserves it lol). Embarrassing, especially because ROSIE nailed the bottom many weeks in advance of the bottom – all I had to do was listen and boom new house. Sad.

Overview Perspective & Review of Markets, Chat Room, Algo Calls, Trades and Alerts:
Wednesday at end of day I tweeted out that I expected the shippers to run Thursday, and they came alive.
$DRYS – My day started with a premarket entry in $DRYS (the night prior I took an initial entry in $DRYS right before the bell EOD). I ended up closing two portions later today (25% each) when $DRYS was knocking on 2.00 and I am holding 50%. So it is a decent swing for sure so far.
$SNAP – I took a small momo trade and stopped out quick for a small loss.
$SPXL – The crude oil sell off I assumed would stop early in the day (with crude at a critical algorithm support level) but it didn’t and so my two entries in $SPXL (which is a long 3x leveraged $SPY product) took a bit of pain but recovered near end of market session and after market $SPY was looking better.
$BLKG – Took an entry in $BLKG literally one minute before it spiked. It’s a small OTC play.
FX: $USOIL $WTI related position in $USO I took a small loss on (.7 cents) because a key support level in our algorithm was breached and I wasn’t comfortable with a possible continuation in sell-off. Our algorithm updates will allow me to trade the new trend range soon when published so I just cut bait early. I also took the trade because in overnight commodities trading there were chart signals of a bullish divergence also. So the trade was well thought out, but catching a knife isn’t easy – especially in a commodity that is selling off.
FX: $USOIL $WTI Crude oil stopped is carnage right before the 200 MA so I thought I was safe also. So the algorithm support, Fibonacci support and classic simple charting all agreed… but…

As above crude oil tanked hard. Gold, Miner’s and Silver are off and on watch. US Dollar threatening a break-out. $SPY calm and $VIX calm.

Our algorithm was right about the upside extensions and Gold came off right where Rosie the Gold Algo warned. It continues under pressure. Rosie’s new updates will be interesting.

Crude Oil $USOIL $WTI:
As above, tanked hard Wednesday and some Thursday and watching now. Awaiting EPIC the oil Algo updates.
Volatility $VIX:
$VIX has been flat for some time, however, our algorithmic modeling suggests a possible time / price cycle coming due soon. It is possible the oil sell off was the time-price cycle of note. Here again will await weekend algo charting updates before I do much.
$SPY has been trading perfectly within our model and see no divergence yet, however, we are watching the time /price cycle in our $VIX model very close here now.

NA – watching. I could have nailed that bottom as our test algo (not one of the six formally released charting algos) was near spot on with the recent bottom call but I didn’t take the trade.

As above I traded $DRYS on overnight swing, $USO, $BLKG, and $SPXL. I missed the $OCRX momo play later in the day – I was on it, but didn’t take a trade.

All small to mid size holds in this order according to sizing – $ONTX, $DUST, $USRM, $XOM, $NE, $DRYS, $ASM, $SSH, $LGCY, $TRCH, $ESEA, $MGTI.
Per recent’ $DUST I will close for a loss if Gold holds 1260 – sucks, but it was a relatively small position (to portfolio size) but I didn’t follow the golden rule… when a trade goes against your plan cut fast and I didn’t so I will likely pay the price. And I guess what has become the second golden rule… listen to the algos… they haven’t been wrong yet – so yes, I didn’t listen to my own invention ROSIE the Gold Algo (give Rosie a little plug there she deserves it lol). Embarrassing, especially because ROSIE nailed the bottom many weeks in advance of the bottom – all I had to do was listen and boom new house. Sad.

If you are new to our trading service you should review recent blog posts, our YouTube Channel and at minimum our algorithm Twitter feeds because they do tell a story in terms of the market and how the inflections of the market determine our day to day trading. You will notice the algorithmic modelling has been undeniably accurate with many time-frames (intra-day, weeks and months out) so I myself have learned to respect their math (they have taken me from a 60% hit rate to 80% in my trading – all publicly posted live trades).
I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid risk – so often I avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks later in the day after the wash-out looking for a snap-back. Just prior to open and shortly after open I post momentum stocks to the trade chat room (and Twitter and Stocktwits if I have time).

Free scanners to find momentum stocks that you can easily review charts of for indicators that bring probability of your trade being successful up considerably. These are not useful for first 30 minute market open gap and go type plays (you need a good momentum scanner, level 2, and best to have hot-keys for the first 30 mins of gap and go trading)… but are very useful for intra day scalping and swing trading (start with trending stocks and then look at indicators intra for simple set-ups – study scan study scan study scan).
