This is a continuation of yesterday’s update to this specific list of covered swing trades.

Added to our coverage this week on this list (1 of 3 lists) are $FSLR, $AAOI, $HIIQ from yesterday and $AMBA, and $COTY today.

We are going to categorize our coverage soon because we are following more than we expected when we first started the service.

Also, our swing trading alert service will launch soon for real-time alerts – the start date has been moved up to May 15, 2017.

When managing your trades with the weekly reports keep in mind that you will have to invest an hour or two a week to check the indicators mentioned for buy and sell triggers. I was asked recently why we do not usually (although we do sometimes) include precise entry and exit points. The reason is simple, they don’t work – those services have disasterous results.

Swing trading success, even with a service, does require “some” maintenance on the part of the user, although the new live alert service will take much of that burden off the user as we know many of our users have busy lives.

It is the indicators lining up that signal a trade long entry or an exit. In our case rely heavily on MACD on daily or weekly (or Stoch RSI and Moving averages) but indicators we are basing our trade entry and exits on are listed with each trade so any user that does even moderate trade management will know when the indicator(s) have turned with or against the trade.

Intra-week you can always DM myself on Twitter or email with specific questions regarding trades you are considering for assistance. But it is critical that you attend to the maintenance of your signals at least once a week if not twice and set stops and preferably alarms so that intra-week you can enter or exit. Charting software like Trading View will even text you when an alert triggers on your chart!

If nothing else you can always book some trade coaching time and I’ll assist also (although we are at a point of waiting list for the coaching, at minimum you can get on list or for immediate help as I said please DM or email).

April 25 – Trading 123.15. Earnings in two days. Watching close.

April 20 – Trading 123.01. Testing 50 MA. Watching for MACD, Stoch RSI and SQZMOM to turn up. High watch now.

April 11 – Trading 125.92. MACD pinch and SQZMOM about to turn green – continue on high watch!

Mar 27 – Indicators have now started to cool and waiting for bottom turn. On high watch!

Mar 19 – status remains same as Mar 12.

Mar 12, 2017 – The Stoch RSI hasn’t cooled, in fact it has heated since last report. Also below is the MACD, it’s near pinching so it may be best to take a short position soon and flip to long when MACD turns to buy signal.

Feb 27, 2017 – Trading at 43.72 this beat up sector seems to be ripe for a bounce. If we execute a trade on Monday it will be to test the waters and watch the market sentiment day to day – this and price action will determine how long we are in it. An interim target however would be 46.80 and would likely change as the trade progresses.

When the MACD turned up recently that was reason enough for a trade. We did not take the entry and now that we haven’t we are waiting for the price to be above the MA’s (still has to clear 100 MA – blue) and for he 20 MA (light blue) to cross up through the 50 MA (purple – with price above) and then likely a long position.

Feb 27, 2017 – “Eagles Materials Posted Record Revenues, Record Net Earnings and Record Net Earnings per Diluted Share. Its stock grew 60% in 2016 and still looks cheap.”

Eagle Materials is a riskier play than most we will add to our swing portfolio, but our DD on this one has us excited and we likely will take a long position early this week with a target of minimum 10% upside in next 90 days. We will however keep our stop tight.

Feb 27, 2017 – We find the $FIT trade interesting. Although we would never otherwise consider it and if we do enter today a long position it will be looked at as short term, we think there may be opportunity to swing trade it because it should be much lower considering its recent quarter… lower in that we expected a panic that did not occur. This seems bullish, or at minimum a likely “bargain” in our opinion.

Feb 12, 2017 – We still like the $GOOGL stock / chart. Price recently broke to the upside of the triangle and didn’t hold but is threatening to trade above again at Friday close. We’re watching for an upside break that holds for an entry or a visit to the 200 MA (pink line) for an entry.

Feb 7, 2017 Member Update: We expect a signal from the Trump camp soon (late this week), and if positive, this will be a very strong play – watch close! This needs to be high on your radar going forward!

We like this chart. Watch for an upside break out of the triangle. The principles apply the same to $GOOG and $GOOGL charts fyi. Also, watch the MACD close, it looks primed for a move. Earnings are Thursday. If price breaks to downside I will update with levels to watch. Also, the is a chart below that shows upside target.

This is an aggressive trade (being that we didn’t wait for a pull-back to 50, 100 or 200). We have a tight stop on the trade at 804.00 (just below its recent low (this would be a broken trade in our opinion at that point). So we are hoping this week is a strong week for Amazon. We haven’t got a pull back to the 200 day and depending on how tech does with Trump we may or may not, however, in overnight trade (premarket) price is close to the 100 day and I may take a test long position. This is one of our favorite picks so we will be quite aggressive with our attempts to get in at an inflection – so we are thinking sometime in the next few days looks decent.

My fourth priority is Amazon. I don’t want to over simplify this trade – but the bottom line is I’m looking for a pull-back and an entry as close to that 200 day (pink line with green arrow) as possible. I don’t think this stock will stop anytime soon. DD to follow soon.

Feb 12, 2017 – This stock hasn’t slowed down since our entry at 2.59 (10000 shares) and doesn’t seem to want to return to the trendline support so our swing trade members can get in. It is trading perfectly in our prescribed range (albeit at the top) and closed at 3.90 on Friday – we have a 5.57 PT on it so I don’t if it is best to enter now – I wouldn’t unless it returns to the support line but some of the more aggressive swing trading members may want to consider it. Also, we will be ratcheting stops before earnings and even though earnings are expected to be strong we likely will not hold through earnings (or if we do it will be with tight stops).

Feb 21, 2017 – We closed our position last week at 46.04 because sentiment in this sector started to turn. We may look at a re-entry, however, we are waiting for the crude oil resistance test to play out and would like to monitor sentiment.

Feb 12, 2017 – This has been a fantastic swing trade and many of our members have profited from it. We are holding and have moved up stops to a 5% drop.

It is currently trading at 45.70 and is up considerably for our members – our 2017 price target was 49.58 and our short term price targets were easily met.

It is also currently trading just above its 200 MA so we are watching close – if it loses the 200 MA we will exit likely. So if you are thinking of adding or a long trade here you want to watch the 200 MA.

My fifth priority is $SLCA. Again, another simple chart and it will require some patience. I see a pull-back coming and huge upside under the Trump inertia in to summer. The first swing of 2017 I will be entering (likely today) is NovaGold. First target is 6.46 area and second target is 7.30 area. It is currently trading at 5.10. It’s full extension is over 8.50.

$USOIL, $SPY, $VIX, $GOLD, $SILVER, $DXY Algorithm and Swing Trade Charting News

Good morning traders / Members.

A note about the upcoming changes in algorithm models and items such as 24 hour oil trading room.

We are going to ask our $SPY members for some grace on the reporting until this weekend.

This weekend EPIC the Oil Algo enters its next phase (in prep for 24 hour trading room the charting will be converted to also include futures and go on to coding) and all the other charting reports enter the next phase in their evolution of reporting.

Specific to $SPY, $SPY enters a more detailed charting phase (more resembling EPIC’s) and with that will bring considerably more report rotations weekly and considerably more detailed charting. Between now and then our techs are preparing the charts. So between now and Sunday (as long as there isn’t a considerable change in trading range) we will simply ask you to refer to the existing charting at the link below (when the viewer comes up hit the play button to bring charting up to date). When the next phase is released this weekend the charting will be available outside the viewer as EPIC’s are which will make them more useable and as I mentioned they will be considerably more detailed.

Specific to $VIX, it is the only one of the six algorithm models that is not locked in (as it concerns the algorithm math – and frankly we are not sure whether it will ever become completely locked in), nonetheless, commencing this weekend our rotations will be more regular and the charting will be much more detailed (the charts will be primarily based on conventional charting – but more detailed than in past nonetheless).

Specific to $GOLD, $SILVER, $DXY; we will continue (for the most part) reporting to members off-site direct (you may have noticed we do not post these to the blog), however, as soon as the $SPY algorithm is brought up to it’s next standard of reporting (which will take approximately a month to completely build out) we will then start publishing $GOLD, $SILVER and $DXY regularly to the blog and their charting models will also at that point enter the next phase making them more like or detailed as the EPIC reports are.

And last, specific to the swing trading platform, there are changes there (the service is getting a live alert service over next few days and the reporting structure is being improved). The change details are detailed at top of each swing trade newsletter for members.

So in summary, all the algorithmic models are moving up a phase in reporting between now and July 1, 2017 and the details of such are above. This will of course come with a price increase as they are elevated but existing members are grandfathered without price increase as long as subscription remains continuous.

Oh, and on a final note, if you are going to be taking part in the 24 hour oil room, be sure to register over the next day or so – we are going to release subs to the public this Sunday at latest and we will be capping membership to fifty members while we are in the beta phase (which is expected to last approximately 90 days) to ensure quality and staff training time etc.

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid risk – so often I avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks later in the day after the wash-out looking for a snap-back. Curt M_1: if oil loses that orange line then there’s only one more below (the grey one down below) and then oil tanks all over again. So then you watch for a rumor at the orange or grey line – rumor comes all the time there. Well not all the time but you know what I mean. they know the chart
Spiegel: by rumor you mean a rumor leaked to the media about something that will affect oil prices?
Curt M_1: correct
Curt M_1: when price hits magic algo lines they start the rumor mill
Curt M_1: no rumor when price hits below grey line short
Curt M_1: if rumor comes at grey line long
Curt M_1: But there’s always a yellow line about .20 cents under the grey line and that’s the zone or area of support – they hammer the stops between the grey line and yellow line and then take off again

Today I broke so many of my rules. The first two trades I took in $HOTR and $AXSM I went long assuming the momo would go my way not following the indicators AT ALL. And I paid. The stops list were hit – so I paid for my stupidity. It felt like I did when I first learned. Terrible feeling not being in control of your trade.On $HOTR lost 280.00 and $AXSM lost 350.00.

Then later I took a intra-day break out trade in $INPX and completely broke the get out quick rule when the break-out trade goes against you and I held and got VERY LUCKY. Made 1050.00 on it.

If the was a shining star it was in my swing trades from the other side of our platform. But the swing trades and our algorithm model trades don’t count in the trading challenge:)

– The swing trading service will be getting an alert service within 48 hours. Details to be announced. The existing swing trading members (before the official announcement) will receive the bundle (newsletters and live alerts) for the current newsletter only price. In other words the new alert service component will be free indefinitely for members as long as they subscribe without lapse (as will the existing newsletter price). Any new members will pay a bundle price (for both swing alerts and newsletter) or individual an individual price for each. Bottom line is that current members will automatically be grandfathered in to the service add-on at no extra cost.

– The day trading service will be getting a new alert service that will work for everyone globally and will be announced formally within 48 hours. We have had issue with various carriers globally and we have a permanent fix for that now finally.

– The SPY algorithm is and the Gold algorithms will be moving on to the next phase of development so their charting will become significantly more advanced and as with other services and our early adopters there will be no price increase as this is launched but new subscribers will have a higher subscription price. DXY, Sliver and VIX will be the next after SPY and Gold to move on to next phase algorithm charting.

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid risk – so often I avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks later in the day after the wash-out looking for a snap-back.
