Trading Room Transcripts and Post Market Trading Reports – Some members have asked about trading room transcript accessibility, we are currently interviewing providers and should have an announcement early next week. The post market trading result reports that we haven’t posted over the last few weeks we will catch up on this weekend and going forward will do our best to get them out daily, but I get it, the more convenient and timely the data is the better – so we’re working on that solution right now.

Overview Perspective & Review of Chat Room, Algo Calls, Trades and Alerts:

Good day, traded $OPXA (hold) $ZAIS and oil related $UWT again for wins. Have some good ones one watch also for Monday I think. Still haven’t found a way to really size in yet though – would like to see that this week.

Also, I’m still on the wrong side of that Gold / Miners / Silver trade and I have absolutely no excuse because I knew months in advance the bottom call from Rosie the Gold Algo and SuperNova Silver Algo – and I even doubled down on $DUST the other day. HOWEVER, Gold does have two very significant hurdles coming overhead that have low probabilities of price action clearing (with-out a pull back) – unless of course geopolitical reasons change that.

Looking Forward:

I am of course watching our standards that apply to our algorithmic charting – everything is near a series of decisions. US Dollar $DXY and $USDJPY at support decision, $GOLD $SILVER at decision resistance, $OIL at decision resistance, $VIX is almost dead, $SPY came alive some in Friday trade.

Still playing morning momos and waiting for the current decisions to play out.

Also watching $ZAIS, $IMFI, $FNMA (Trump play – not currently in but have been trading them), $OPXA (in small and looking for a run – like the chart), $ASM (great story referred by HedgeHog, watching very close), $DUST (looking for intermin Gold reversal as I am in 2/5 size so I may hammer other 3/5 and play a turn for a flat goal), $JUNO and $CBMX (will hold in to late spring if needed and may add), $TRCH and $LGCY (oil and Trump play).

Important levels our traders will be watching; the blue arrows are the algorithm quadrants, the white dotted lines are the diagonal algo support and resistance lines based on Fibonacci levels, the yellow arrow is an important symmetry extension from the previous low in Gold trade, the green arrows are important Fibonacci support and resistance, and the other horizontal lines are Fibonacci levels of interest for intra-day trade.

Between the two blue algo lines on this chart (which represent the algo trading quadrant), we consider this a decision zone. Above the top blue line is considered bullish and below is considered bearish – ultimately the battle for Gold continues.

Two Week Account Double Challenge: It ended today (Monday) because there was a holiday last week (so ten trading days). I didn’t double, I think I was closer to 41% and our techs will do review vids and publish P&L soon for review. It started out really strong and as inauguration got closer market got less aggressive and has been since. The momo plays lacked follow through the last five or six trading days. Oh well! 41% ish isn’t bad. I’ll be looking to get my double up before the end of the month now and I’ll be targeting a double up per month going forward. Remember – all live in the room, recorded, transcript etc… no calling things after the fact – totally transparent room.

Daily Trading Results: I apologize, I haven’t had time to do last Wed, Thur and Fri yet – I will post them. To be honest they were so uneventful for me that I prioritized other work – but I’ll get them out soon.

Google I entered with some of our swing service members after market trading (large entry), $MSFT and $INTC I scalped after market. $TRCH I entered doing regular trade as an add and $LGCY – holding both. Still hold $DUST, $JUNO, $ROKA, $CBMX and I’m bullish on all (have a plan and reasons for all that I won’t get in to here). Had a small papercut moomo trade for a 5 cent loss first thing in morning.

Looking Forward:

I’m still bullish. We were right about Brexit, Trump winning, all time highs in markets, our algos have obviously been nailing it and I have no reason to stop. We are publishing my and the algo and swing trading P&L’s over next few days with obvious massive percentage gains over many hundreds of calls now dating back to last July. We’re also doing some webinars soon to help the market about our algos and to show members how to use them. And finally we have a series of documents and videos coming out that take a scientific approach to all our calls and the verdict on our success – fortunately we tracked the whole launch process. It has been upward and onward since we started developing the algos and I am very very pumped forward.

Per last report on Tuesday;

I’m excited for trade now. Yesterday I pointed out that I was looking at a trade in inverse Gold and that worked out and that it looked like commodities were going to cool some. Also noted yesterday that the market would likely pop and $SPY got some lift. So no surprises at all – going per plan. Epic the Oil algo, Rosie the Gold Algo, SuperNova Silver Algo and the rest of them are all dialed in and hitting well.

I can’t complain – I’ve had a good run, Mathew is hitting it regularly and the members are having a great year so far so it’s all systems a go!

In overnight trade it looks like commodities are cooling a bit so I may look at inverse Gold or Miner’s ETN’s ETF’s Tuesday, also market has been calm since inauguration so I would expect a bit of a pop or drop here soon and I’m thinking a pop. So I’m looking forward to the last six days of trading in January.

General Market Outlook:

Gold is in trouble and at a very important decision area – review Rosie the Gold Algo report for details. $DXY and $USDJPY still wildcard. $VIX is getting crushed to lows as I expected. $SPY got lift as expected. $GDX – as per previous…. careful, if market gets idea that Trump not going to help miner’s like market thinks whoompf.

Rosie the Gold Algo, Epic the Oil Algo, SuperNova Silver and the others continue to hit calls so I’m pumped.

 

Per previous;

My general bias (as a trader – not algo math) is for the market to be somewhat flat or deflate prior to Jan 20 inauguration, Gold and Silver to get further lift but back off between Wednesday afternoon and Monday. After the inauguration my bias is toward Gold and Silver getting punished when the Trump train gets moving again (no telling if this will be days or weeks or even a few short months). But I do think Trump will crush Gold, Silver etc and the $VIX at some point. The $VIX I will be watching close. Oil I think has headwinds. Natural Gas I am continuing to watch. Smaller Gold / Silver / Oil companies and Shippers / Greece I am watching very close also. But of course with Brexit in the news, the OPEC situation and inauguration I am going to stay very nimble and likely trade volatility and Gold related most of the week.

Early in 2017 I will be watching very closely bonds, $USDJPY, markets in general for direction (of course there are hundreds of variables).

Metals, energy and financials are three areas I am looking to for 2017 for trading margin – with bio in fourth place on my list. And per previous we’re expecting some action in bonds to the upside a high probability.

As a trader, it is the margin / volatility I am focused toward and getting on the right side of a market / sector turn and scaling in to that.

All algos (Oil, SPY, Gold, Silver, Dollar, VIX) have hit their targets now (long term since July and short term) so we are running calculation targets for all six algos for all time charting time-frames and expect these reports to start rolling out first week of January 2017.

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid risk – so often I avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks later in the day after the wash-out looking for a snap-back. These are not useful for first 30 minute market open gap and go type plays (you need a good momentum scanner, level 2, and best to have hot-keys for the first 30 mins of gap and go trading)… but are very useful for intra day scalping and swing trading (start with trending stocks and then look at indicators intra for simple set-ups – study scan study scan study scan).

Do you see what I see? Trading has got up over the top of an algo quadrant and is about to back test the top of that quadrant! This is a big deal, why? Because Gold (broadly) is still in a downtrend and has not (as my algorithm is concerned) confirmed that it is in an uptrend. I know, I know, the rest of the world has confirmed a trend change – but not me. I’m waiting for confirmation (read previous reports).

If it fails and trades to downside of that quadrant top then watch for a test of that yellow Fibonacci line and the 100 day MA (blue) on 2 hour chart. Those three indicators all fail and there is a 90% or better chance Gold is going down next!

Two Week Account Double Challenge: It ended today (Monday) because there was a holiday last week (so ten trading days). I didn’t double, I think I was closer to 41% and our techs will do review vids and publish P&L soon for review. It started out really strong and as inauguration got closer market got less aggressive and has been since. The momo plays lacked follow through the last five or six trading days. Oh well! 41% ish isn’t bad. I’ll be looking to get my double up before the end of the month now and I’ll be targeting a double up per month going forward. Remember – all live in the room, recorded, transcript etc… no calling things after the fact – totally transparent room.

Daily Trading Results. I apologize, I haven’t had time to do last Wed, Thur and Fri yet – I will post them. To be honest they were so uneventful for me that I prioritized other work – but I’ll get them out soon.

I didn’t take any morning momentum trades because the open was really weak for the premarket runners. Trust the indicators! Lots of my friends got chopped up bad at the open Tuesday.

My first trade was in TransCanada Pipeline on the Trump approval of the Keystone Pipeline. I will say that one of our advantages is technology, in that we have a lot of data that passes through our offices and we were on top of this one the second it broke. I brought up the chart right away but there wasn’t action so I thought I’ll just set the alarms and left it. That was a mistake (but I was watching Gold and Silver close at the time). Anyway, the alarms sounded and I took a small entry. Got a moderate win. It also looks like I exited early but Trump had conditions to the pipeline deal so I exited. Many of our members banked – thanks for the thank you notes guys and gals!

My second trade was an add to my swing in $DUST. This was specifically because our algorithm Rosie the Gold Algo the night before and in her morning report was clear about a high probability of failure in Gold on Tuesday – and sure enough it hit. I entered later than I should have but I still got a decent daytrade win. My exit was near perfect – again thanks to Rosie algorithmic modeling.

Looking Forward:

I’m excited for trade now. Yesterday I pointed out that I was looking at a trade in inverse Gold and that worked out and that it looked like commodities were going to cool some. Also noted yesterday that the market would likely pop and $SPY got some lift. So no surprises at all – going per plan. Epic the Oil algo, Rosie the Gold Algo, SuperNova Silver Algo and the rest of them are all dialed in and hitting well.

I can’t complain – I’ve had a good run, Mathew is hitting it regularly and the members are having a great year so far so it’s all systems a go!

Per yesterday;

In overnight trade it looks like commodities are cooling a bit so I may look at inverse Gold or Miner’s ETN’s ETF’s Tuesday, also market has been calm since inauguration so I would expect a bit of a pop or drop here soon and I’m thinking a pop. So I’m looking forward to the last six days of trading in January.

Also looking at the Trump “wall” trade 🙂

Do you see what I see? Trading has got up over the top of an algo quadrant and is about to back test the top of that quadrant! This is a big deal, why? Because Gold (broadly) is still in a downtrend and has not (as my algorithm is concerned) confirmed that it is in an uptrend. I know, I know, the rest of the world has confirmed a trend change – but not me. I’m waiting for confirmation (read previous reports).

All very small positions – $ROKA, $TRCH, $ESEA, $CBMX, $JUNO, $DUST (looking for a way out on $DUST – was expecting one final significant spike in USDJPY before drop). $CBMX and $JUNO are holds till spring if necessary (you would have to do your own DD on the companies and make your own determination).

General Market Outlook:

This could be start of turn in many areas. Looks like some bio runner momos and Gold, Silver and other metals active and close to test. $SPY rangebound but with earnings we could go here. $DXY could be at interim support.

Per previous;

My general bias (as a trader – not algo math) is for the market to be somewhat flat or deflate prior to Jan 20 inauguration, Gold and Silver to get further lift but back off between Wednesday afternoon and Monday. After the inauguration my bias is toward Gold and Silver getting punished when the Trump train gets moving again (no telling if this will be days or weeks or even a few short months). But I do think Trump will crush Gold, Silver etc and the $VIX at some point. The $VIX I will be watching close. Oil I think has headwinds. Natural Gas I am continuing to watch. Smaller Gold / Silver / Oil companies and Shippers / Greece I am watching very close also. But of course with Brexit in the news, the OPEC situation and inauguration I am going to stay very nimble and likely trade volatility and Gold related most of the week.

Early in 2017 I will be watching very closely bonds, $USDJPY, markets in general for direction (of course there are hundreds of variables).

Metals, energy and financials are three areas I am looking to for 2017 for trading margin – with bio in fourth place on my list. And per previous we’re expecting some action in bonds to the upside a high probability.

As a trader, it is the margin / volatility I am focused toward and getting on the right side of a market / sector turn and scaling in to that.

All algos (Oil, SPY, Gold, Silver, Dollar, VIX) have hit their targets now (long term since July and short term) so we are running calculation targets for all six algos for all time charting time-frames and expect these reports to start rolling out first week of January 2017.

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid risk – so often I avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks later in the day after the wash-out looking for a snap-back. Free scanners to find momentum stocks that you can easily review charts of for indicators that bring probability of your trade being successful up considerably. These are not useful for first 30 minute market open gap and go type plays (you need a good momentum scanner, level 2, and best to have hot-keys for the first 30 mins of gap and go trading)… but are very useful for intra day scalping and swing trading (start with trending stocks and then look at indicators intra for simple set-ups – study scan study scan study scan).

Trade Considerations to Increase Your Trading Edge

Do you see what I see? Trading has got up over the top of an algo quadrant and is about to back test the top of that quadrant! This is a big deal, why? Because Gold (broadly) is still in a downtrend and has not (as my algorithm is concerned) confirmed that it is in an uptrend. I know, I know, the rest of the world has confirmed a trend change – but not me. I’m waiting for confirmation (read previous reports).
