A big Congratulations Swing Trade Members! Wow what a start to 2017!!!

Things have been going extremely well in our Swing Trading service – I have received a lot of mail recently (and had various conversations with members), that’s great to hear!

We have absolutely murdered the stock picks since the beginning of 2017! So much so that we are having to scramble now for new picks! Well not really, remember at the beginning of the year I told you we actually had fifty we were working on:)

We didn’t expect that kind of result however! So this week we will be completely updating our stock picks for next Monday Feb 20, 2017 (we thought this would be quarterly) and we will share this success with the world (unlocking much of this post and re-locking the next update for our members).

We have surveyed many members about our weekly update formats, and it is obvious from the members we have spoken to that they like the “journal” method we’ve started in 2017, so we are going to keep this format. Basically it is a journal format where we simply update the picks as we go and leave previous comments. Members seem to appreciate the transparency and being able to follow along with the progression of each stock pick, the charts and more. It also makes it easier for new swing trade members as they come aboard to get up to speed quickly.

It is important to note the other charts below may or may not been updated since being first posted or post most recent report, so be sure to look up most recent trading ranges on a chart before considering trades.

Any updates below specific to this week are highlighted in red to simplify the process for you.

And finally (per previous) we are at an inflection point and we are waiting for test areas in metals to play out here soon – as soon as those decisions do we will have a number of recommendations we are going to add to this.

This Swing Report is in Development – But We’re Getting There.

Below you will find my top ten picks for swing trading in the first quarter of 2017 (plus a few bonus picks I will be swing trading). I am currently in the middle of compiling the due diligence and charting set-ups for publication for over fifty charts so this list may grow considerably – I am excited about 2017.

As mentioned previous, I will also include our regular algorithmic modeling equities relating to Oil, Gold, Miners, Silver, US Dollar, Volatility and SPY in my 2017 reports (in addition to the ten others listed below) FYI.

In my reports I will focus on both long term holds and swing trading these equities with an intent to try and time the highs and lows (pull-backs) as best as possible. I know many propose that picking the highs and lows isn’t the best method – but to be frank it has served me well over the years.

Also, I should mention, that any of the stocks below that do not trade well (or as planned) I will switch out with another choice as the weeks progress. But the intent is to hold ten investment / swing stocks (per below) and also swing trade in and out of the regular algorithmic modeling equities I mentioned also.

Oh, and the updates most often will be coming out more often than weekly also (thought I should mention that).

First step is to get charts out with levels I will be trading. Then I’ll put out more DD on each also.

I am going to start below with ones that are most timely and build this out from there (in order of priority for my personal trades and what I see going on in the market).

The Ten Swing Trades I am going to focus on in the First Quarter of 2017 are as follows:

1 – Alphabet (Google) $GOOGL, $GOOG

Feb 12, 2017 – We still like the $GOOGL stock / chart. Price recently broke to the upside of the triangle and didn’t hold but is threatening to trade above again at Friday close. We’re watching for an upside break that holds for an entry or a visit to the 200 MA (pink line) for an entry.

Feb 7, 2017 Member Update: We expect a signal from the Trump camp soon (late this week), and if positive, this will be a very strong play – watch close! This needs to be high on your radar going forward!

We like this chart. Watch for an upside break out of the triangle. The principles apply the same to $GOOG and $GOOGL charts fyi. Also, watch the MACD close, it looks primed for a move. Earnings are Thursday. If price breaks to downside I will update with levels to watch. Also, the is a chart below that shows upside target.

Technically, the price target (should price break to upside) is 1003.17 before Jan 29 2018.

2 – Amazon $AMZN

Feb 12, 2017 – Trade Alert! We entered a trade long at a cost average 822.72 for 100 shares as soon as price was upside the 20 MA. This is an aggressive trade (being that we didn’t wait for a pull-back to 50, 100 or 200). We have a tight stop on the trade at 804.00 (just below its recent low (this would be a broken trade in our opinion at that point). So we are hoping this week is a strong week for Amazon. If not our aggressive move will cost us.

Feb 7, 2017 Member Alert! We haven’t got a pull back to the 200 day and depending on how tech does with Trump we may or may not, however, in overnight trade (premarket) price is close to the 100 day and I may take a test long position. This is one of our favorite picks so we will be quite aggressive with our attempts to get in at an inflection – so we are thinking sometime in the next few days looks decent.

My fourth priority is Amazon. I don’t want to over simplify this trade – but the bottom line is I’m looking for a pull-back and an entry as close to that 200 day (pink line with green arrow) as possible. I don’t think this stock will stop anytime soon. DD to follow soon.

3 – Juno $JUNO

Feb 12, 2017 – We have been long since late December at 18.32 (1000 shares) and it trades at 21.95 now – will be ratcheting up stops soon, the trade has done well but in the short term we don’t see a lot of upside for entries now, unless trade returns to the 50 day MA.

Feb 7, 2017 Member Update: $JUNO since my first entry mid December 2016 has consistently moved in an upward trend, and from that perspective has been a good stock pick. But it hasn’t been excellent like many of my other picks. It does have a gap fill coming soon so if you are long I would ratchet up your stops as you near 22.70 area.

4 – CombiMatrix Corp $CBMX

Feb 12, 2017 – This stock hasn’t slowed down since our entry at 2.59 (10000 shares) and doesn’t seem to want to return to the trendline support so our swing trade members can get in. It is trading perfectly in our prescribed range (albeit at the top) and closed at 3.90 on Friday – we have a 5.57 PT on it so I don’t if it is best to enter now – I wouldn’t unless it returns to the support line but some of the more aggressive swing trading members may want to consider it. Also, we will be ratcheting stops before earnings and even though earnings are expected to be strong we likely will not hold through earnings (or if we do it will be with tight stops).

My second priority is $CBMX. I am already in this swing and plan to enter in dips at the diagonal trend line (blue). Initial target area is around 5.57 with much greater potential upside. The Trump factor may cause this to come off a bit so my bias is toward late spring for first price target.

5 – OakTree Capital $OAK

Feb 12, 2017 – This has been a fantastic swing trade and many of our members have profited from it. We are holding and have moved up stops to a 5% drop.

It is currently trading at 45.70 and is up considerably for our members – our 2017 price target was 49.58 and our short term price targets were easily met.

It is also currently trading just above its 200 MA so we are watching close – if it loses the 200 MA we will exit likely. So if you are thinking of adding or a long trade here you want to watch the 200 MA.

Oaktree Capital Group, LLC (OAK) today announced that it will report fourth quarter and full year 2016 financial results prior to the opening of the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday, February 7, 2017.

Was trading at 37.57 – 38.00 when we originally started to look at it, currently trades at 41.65.

42.71 – 43.50 is our short term swing target (less than 3 months).

49.58 is our 2017 target. No target date.

Our traders will be watching earnings (much like we did with Google last week and we will be doing with Amazon this week). Pending earnings and price action this will be when we enter a trade. Some of our swing traders have obviously seen decent gains since we first put this on our swing trading list a number of weeks back (good timing actually), but our traders have not taken a position yet.

Feb 12, 2017 – Decided considering geo political sentiment that I will consider a long at 50 MA or a break to upside now.

Feb 12, 2017 – $SXL Sunoco Swing Trading Stock Pick is Performing Excellent Since Late Dec Long Position and Jan addition to this list. We are currently waiting for a test of the 200 MA on the 60 day for an add to 1000 shares or a sell. Excellent trade so far.

Feb 12, 2017 – We have our first entry in $SLCA at the 50 day 55.77 500 shares. We are going to watch how it handles the 20 MA. If it returns to our buy at 55.77 area we may cut bait.

Feb 7, 2017 Member Alert! We never did get that pull back, and I appreciate the notes from members that have done well with this swing nonetheless! However, caution is warranted entering this play with-out a pull-back.

My fifth priority is $SLCA. Again, another simple chart and it will require some patience. I see a pull-back coming and huge upside under the Trump inertia in to summer. I am looking for a pull-back to the 50 day (yellow arrow) or the 100 day preferably (blue arrow). If it gets away on me I’ll likely chase it and scale in 1/5th at a time.

Feb 12 – $VIX has done nothing. Watching.

My seventh priority is the VIX. I see a pull-back in the market coming and a lift in VIX. The primary trade I am looking for is actually a short in the VIX when it gets upside it’s bolllinger band (it’s a little more complicated than that – specifically with timing and I will be putting an alert out when I do it anyway) – I’ll also play some short term longs in $TVIX or $UVXY.

Feb 7, 2017 $GDX Alert – Members, this trade went exactly as planned and is now beyond our call so caution please!

My third priority on this list are the miner’s – $GDX and leveraged friends. This one is risky but comes with large gains if miner’s get moving and price breaks in to next quadrant above the yellow one outlined on the chart below. And for the risk taker it can be traded with leveraged ETN’s. There are inherent risks however; one is that price is not at bottom of the trading quadrant so an entry here is not ideal and the obvious issue is the Trump factor.

6 – $USOIL / $WTI

Feb 12 – Crude oil traded at resistance on Friday, some may opt to short here but we are waiting to see if price breaks to upside. Will advise.

Feb 7, 2017 Update: In overnight trade $USOIL is trading at 52.19 and there is a diagonal support trendline intra-day below at approximately 52.28 – we will be looking at taking a long position in that area if we can get it – with a tight 1% stop.

In overnight lab work our developers established a diagonal trendline (blue line in chart that has a blue arrow pointing at it) that has established itself as strong support. If you take a swing trade against that support (as as close to it as possible) then look to the upside of that white dotted arrow line as your target long. Ratchet up stops there.

It was a quieter day for the room – Trump was meeting with Abe so there was some pensiveness in the market. My $JDST swing came off (in after market Thursday it was looking decent) – I ended up a tad up / basically flat.

All in all its been really positive for our algo charting newsletter subscribers and trading room – checking in with our members regularly reminds me of their success on our platform so that’s awesome.

Swing trading members have enjoyed consistent success wince the start of the year and this week just got better. Hopefully our swing trading calls continue like that!

Looking Forward:

I am watching our standards that apply to our algorithmic charting, as follows;

US Dollar $DXY $USDJPY $UUP:

Per recent, “US Dollar $DXY is at important support so I will watch for a bounce (my personal bias)”. Today it did in fact bounce. The algorithmic model had noted a minor divergence as did the classic charting so I took a late day trade in $JDST (going well).

Friday was the Trump and Abe meeting day and the dollar is still sitting at support at end of day but charting is divergent so the jury is out.

Per recent, “And there are the really important long term chart MA indicators that are not bearish the $DXY that should be in mind.”

Gold $GLD $XAUUSD / Gold Miner’s $GDX:

Per recent,” $GOLD, Miners and $SILVER blew through resistance but have a series of very significant algorithmic chart modeling and classic charting decisions on deck soon so I will watch for a pull-back (my personal bias but I do know there is a significant possibility my bias is wrong and if so I will really hammer down on the move through resistance long if it occurs – AND I’ll be ready for the small and micro caps that would likely light fight in that scenario)”.

Per recent, “Gold struggled at the second last resistance decision (at the algorithms symmetry extension on Rosie the Gold Algo charts – yellow line) and came off. And then when it failed the diagonal Fib based algorithm trendline (white dotted on Rosie’s charts) I took my trade in $JDST. In overnight trading this hasn’t been regained so there are 3 important resistance levels in Gold on our algorithm has before our algo considers the uptrend continued – so I will watch. Also of consideration for this trade is the announcement from Trump and Japan’s Abe expected Friday at 1:00 EST.”

So on Friday Gold jumped around like the $DXY US Dollar and $USDJPY. My guess is Sunday night trade or Monday trade will tell us a lot in the Dollar.

Silver $SLV:

Silver is trading much Gold in that it is near resistance and seems to be awaiting decisions or market reaction to Trump / Abe weekend and $USDJPY.

Crude Oil $USOIL $WTI:

Crude oil is trading very aggressive but completed the day right under the resistance Epic the Oil Algo has identified as key for many weeks. I suspect traders are awaiting OPEC meeting news and Trump and Abe weekend news bits before committing. 

Per recent, “$OIL was broke and it magically repaired and is back in its multi-week range – trade the range until really broke.” On Thursday oil continued to trade within the sideways range it has been in for weeks – so yes, magically repaired chart. I believe there was evidence Wed and Thur of how our markets are “managed” – even oil.

Per recent, “There are OPEC meetings this weekend so that is in the mix also.”

Volatility $VIX:

$VIX is still near dead – records are being set and/or are near being set daily.

$SPY S&P 500:

So $SPY did break out Thursday – our algo did predict this before the election so that wasn’t a big surprise but the interesting thing to myself and some of the traders in our membership was that price action hit the symmetry extension to the high side our algo Freedom the $SPY Algo had charted perfectly. Trade also continued Friday predictably in our modeling. So our fifth of six algos is starting to hit consistently also.

Per recent, “$SPY continues in its range but I will be looking for a break to higher (my personal bias)”. $SPY did break out on Thursday as expected so I am studying opportunity.

Momentum Trades:

Momentum trades on Friday I found to be with-out follow through volume (as did other traders in the room and many others I communicate with in the community).

Per recent, “Still playing morning momos but the last 15 sessions follow-through momo (where I bank) has been difficult because volume goes poof”. This still the case but this morning premarket was a bit stronger but follow through wasn’t great (even though it was better).

Swing Trading:

The swing trading side just continues to do exceptionally well off the calls. Here’s one example of the many in the current pipeline:

It’s a good idea to refresh your chart outlook and keep it simple sometimes!

Current Holds / Trading Plan:

$JDST, $VRX, $ASM, $SSH, $LGCY, $TRCH, $ESEA, $CBMX, $JUNO (all very small), $DUST (looking for a way out on $DUST – was expecting one final significant spike in USDJPY before drop). $CBMX and $JUNO are holds till spring if necessary (you would have to do your own DD on the companies and make your own determination).

Oil, Gold and the VIX are high on my watch list. 

General Market Outlook:

US Dollar Index $DXY got a kick up as expected but Trump and Abe have an announcement today at 1:00. The Gold trade is holding up well considering IMO. Oil chart has repaired itself magically and it is near important resistance – with OPEC meetings I would use caution. $SPY got a kick up as expected and targets are being hit there now by our $SPY algorithm chart modeling. $VIX is dead as expected but I am watching. And Silver I see similar to Gold but a tad stronger mid term.

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid risk – so often I avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks later in the day after the wash-out looking for a snap-back. Just prior to open and shortly after open I post momentum stocks to the trade chat room (and Twitter and Stocktwits if I have time).

Free scanners to find momentum stocks that you can easily review charts of for indicators that bring probability of your trade being successful up considerably. These are not useful for first 30 minute market open gap and go type plays (you need a good momentum scanner, level 2, and best to have hot-keys for the first 30 mins of gap and go trading)… but are very useful for intra day scalping and swing trading (start with trending stocks and then look at indicators intra for simple set-ups – study scan study scan study scan).

Of course Mathew and the crew in the room continue killing it – awesome.

Day started with one of our traders alerting in early premarket $JAGX and just nailed it perfect – huge gains of up to 70% for some. 

My morning momo (small) was a small loss and then later in the day I started to leg in to a $JDST trade (explanation below).

Per previous;

I’m still on the wrong side of that Gold / Miners / Silver trade and I have absolutely no excuse because I knew months in advance the bottom call from Rosie the Gold Algo and SuperNova Silver Algo – and I even doubled down on $DUST the other day. HOWEVER, Gold does have two very significant hurdles coming overhead that have low probabilities (as far as math is concerned) of price action clearing (with-out a pull back) – unless of course geopolitical reasons / sentiment change that.

Looking Forward:

I am watching our standards that apply to our algorithmic charting, as follows;

US Dollar $DXY

Yesterday I wrote, “US Dollar $DXY is at important support so I will watch for a bounce (my personal bias)”. Today it did in fact bounce. The algorithmic model had noted a minor divergence as did the classic charting so I took a late day trade in $JDST (going well).

And there are the really important long term chart MA indicators that are not bearish $DXY that should be in mind.

Gold – Gold Miner’s – Silver

Per yesterday,” $GOLD, Miners and $SILVER blew through resistance but have a series of very significant algorithmic chart modeling and classic charting decisions on deck soon so I will watch for a pull-back (my personal bias but I do know there is a significant possibility my bias is wrong and if so I will really hammer down on the move through resistance long if it occurs – AND I’ll be ready for the small and micro caps that would likely light fight in that scenario)”.

Gold struggled at the second last resistance decision (at the algorithms symmetry extension on Rosie the Gold Algo charts – yellow line) and came off. And then when it failed the diagonal Fib based algorithm trendline (white dotted on Rosie’s charts) I took my trade in $JDST. In overnight trading this hasn’t been regained so there are 3 important resistance levels in Gold on our algorithm has before our algo considers the uptrend continued – so I will watch. Also of consideration for this trade is the announcement from Trump and Japan’s Abe expected Friday at 1:00 EST.

Crude Oil

Yesterday. “$OIL was broke and it magically repaired and is back in its multi-week range – trade the range until really broke.” On Thursday oil continued to trade within the sideways range it has been in for weeks – so yes, magically repaired chart. I believe there was evidence Wed and Thur of how our markets are “managed” – even oil.

There are OPEC meetings this weekend so that is in the mic also.

Volatility

$VIX is still near dead – records being set.

$SPY S&P 500

Per yesterday, “$SPY continues in its range but I will be looking for a break to higher (my personal bias)”. $SPY did break out on Thursday as expected so I am studying opportunity.

Per yesterday, “Still playing morning momos but the last 15 sessions follow-through momo (where I bank) has been difficult because volume goes poof”. This still the case but this morning premarket was a bit stronger but follow through wasn’t great (even though it was better).

Swing Trading Newsletter Service:

Per yesterday, “Swing trading – continuing to bank on that side of our platform and don’t expect that to slow down in 2017 (until a change in market conditions of course)”. And of course this only got better today for our swing traders with $SPY break-out and related equities. There are a host of stocks in the service being traded such as $AAPL, $FB, $GOOGL, $BABA, $NFLX, $OAK and more.

Free scanners to find momentum stocks that you can easily review charts of for indicators that bring probability of your trade being successful up considerably. These are not useful for first 30 minute market open gap and go type plays (you need a good momentum scanner, level 2, and best to have hot-keys for the first 30 mins of gap and go trading)… but are very useful for intra day scalping and swing trading (start with trending stocks and then look at indicators intra for simple set-ups – study scan study scan study scan).

Overview Perspective & Review of Markets, Chat Room, Algo Calls, Trades and Alerts:

Some of the plays in the room and swing trades lately include stock trades, options, ETF’s etc such as $DWT, $DFFN, $PLG, $NUGT, $AAPL, $FB, $GOOGL, $BABA, $NFLX, $OAK.

In general terms, the crew in the room has absolutely been winning since early January. Mathew has been all over his swings, options and daytrades. Our members in the room have been on the same winning train. You would have to review all transcripts because it has been varied but bottom line is they have been on right side of the market from Gold to the recent tech action and in options etc. Very, very solid group. A great learning experience for traders in the room also.

The swing trading side of our service has nailed I think every call and the members have been sharing with me their success stories – as I predicted before Christmas this has without been the most profitable part of the trading I have been involved with also since Christmas. My personal daytrading in the room has been mixed, I am up just shy of 20% for the year so far BUT as I have said has I listened to our Gold and Silver algorithm charting I would be way, way, way higher. But the swing trading service side has made up for that also. 

Specifically today for myself I was trying to get on right side of oil related trading, and I don’t want to come across wrong but truth is this category (and our other algorithmic charting models such as Gold, Silver, VIX, SPY, USD) are my mainstays – because we do have somewhat of an edge… data. Anyway, my point is oil since it entered its sideways action weeks back has been predictable but I haven’t traded it much because sideways doesn’t provide optimum margin (decent but not optimum). So I have been daytrading momentum stocks and swing trading and waiting for the set-ups in our standard algorithm models to be most advantageous (and again, the error was missing the Gold and Silver turn). Anyway, to the point ha, oil, oil, oil…. it lost a technical support and when that happens 99% of the time there is a trend change (if you check EPIC the Oil Algos record on trend changes you will see its near 100% call win rate). So the set-up was perfect, but something odd happened the last two days – the machines shut off (which should occur at the inflection) but then nothing happend – which is not how oil trades. Oil trades in a very very predictable way – decision to decision and at each you make bank. And even more so when the trend is at a break and changes. So bottom line is oil trade in a way it does in less than 1% of instances when an important technical is broken. So I took two inverse oil plays $DWT and the first I took a paper cut and second flat. And I see that the chart in overnight trade is repaired and oil is back in its sideways range. Ugh.

I’m still on the wrong side of that Gold / Miners / Silver trade and I have absolutely no excuse because I knew months in advance the bottom call from Rosie the Gold Algo and SuperNova Silver Algo – and I even doubled down on $DUST the other day. HOWEVER, Gold does have two very significant hurdles coming overhead that have low probabilities (as far as math is concerned) of price action clearing (with-out a pull back) – unless of course geopolitical reasons / sentiment change that.

Looking Forward:

I am of course watching our standards that apply to our algorithmic charting;

US Dollar $DXY is at important support so I will watch for a bounce (my personal bias).

$GOLD, Miners and $SILVER blew through resistance but have a series of very significant algorithmic chart modeling and classic charting decisions on deck soon so I will watch for a pull-back (my personal bias but I do know there is a significant possibility my bias is wrong and if so I will really hammer down on the move through resistance long if it occurs – AND I’ll be ready for the small and micro caps that would likely light fight in that scenario).

$OIL was broke and it magically repaired and is back in its multi-week range – trade the range until really broke.

$VIX is still near dead – records being set (as predicted long before Christmas).

$SPY continues in its range but I will be looking for a break to higher (my personal bias).

Still playing morning momos but the last 15 sessions follow-through momo (where I bank) has been difficult because volume goes poof.

Swing trading – continuing to bank on that side of our platform and don’t expect that to slow down in 2017 (until a change in market conditions of course).

Weekend webinars we are hosting to review all of our algorithmic modeling, swing trading and what we do in our trading room will be as good for me as it will be for attendees because it will be a refresh of all the charting and a good way to get ready for next weeks trading.

PS – I know we haven’t posted five or six trading results since Christmas and we’re getting there soon. We have it on our list along with… well you know… lots:)

Free scanners to find momentum stocks that you can easily review charts of for indicators that bring probability of your trade being successful up considerably. These are not useful for first 30 minute market open gap and go type plays (you need a good momentum scanner, level 2, and best to have hot-keys for the first 30 mins of gap and go trading)… but are very useful for intra day scalping and swing trading (start with trending stocks and then look at indicators intra for simple set-ups – study scan study scan study scan).

Good morning traders!

In lieu of algorithmic model charting we opted to run simple charts in the lab last evening because the machines (as far as it applies to our work) may as well of shut down at around 4:30 EST yesterday. Why? Oil, black gold caused everything we model to skew. So there’s no reason to run updates until tonight, and it doesn’t hurt to take a simple look at our charts once in a while.

Stoch RSI revved. But stayed revved during upswing in Jan 2016. OA looks almost identical to Jan 16 as does the TSI. #GOLD

Simple symmetry (white arrows) says 1289.00-1349.00 ish is extension. 200 MA 1264.84 intra – historical res at times. #GOLD

General Market Outlook:

Looks like Gold, Silver, Oil came off a bit and the US Dollar may be about to get a bounce – but the jury is out and we’ll see how the day goes here today. $VIX is still dead and $SPY came off a bit yesterday and may get going today or tomorrow, again we’ll see.

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid risk – so often I avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks later in the day after the wash-out looking for a snap-back. Just prior to open and shortly after open I post momentum stocks to the trade chat room (and Twitter and Stocktwits if I have time).

Free scanners to find momentum stocks that you can easily review charts of for indicators that bring probability of your trade being successful up considerably. These are not useful for first 30 minute market open gap and go type plays (you need a good momentum scanner, level 2, and best to have hot-keys for the first 30 mins of gap and go trading)… but are very useful for intra day scalping and swing trading (start with trending stocks and then look at indicators intra for simple set-ups – study scan study scan study scan).

Overview Perspective & Review of Markets, Chat Room, Algo Calls, Trades and Alerts:

Traded out of my $OPXA weekend for small gain, scalped $DRYS seven times, scalped $VRX, and flat on a few others. Eleven trades with an average 300.00 profit – a day in the office to say the least. All of which I couldn’t alert outside of room because they were all minutes / scalps.

The real story of the day was Mathew killing with our members (being on the right side of the metals trade and others) and a visit from Hedge Hog trader in our room – he spent the day as a guest and served up some insight to our members about stocks he’s watching. If you aren’t following our associate trader Mathew and Nicholas (HedgeHog Trader) on Twitter you should be. They’re both masters of the game.

Speaking of master peeps in the game, Quarry who was gracious enough to give me a respectable shout out on the weekend – give him a follow! He’s an exciting trader, a good man and tapped in folks.

Also (per previous), I’m still on the wrong side of that Gold / Miners / Silver trade and I have absolutely no excuse because I knew months in advance the bottom call from Rosie the Gold Algo and SuperNova Silver Algo – and I even doubled down on $DUST the other day. HOWEVER, Gold does have two very significant hurdles coming overhead that have low probabilities of price action clearing (with-out a pull back) – unless of course geopolitical reasons change that.

US Dollar $DXY and $USDJPY failed support and tanked Monday – will be interesting to see what BOJ does next.

$GOLD, Miners and $SILVER blew through resistance but have a series of very significant algorithmic chart modeling and classic charting decisions on deck soon.

$OIL was near / at decision resistance and backed off Monday.

$VIX is still near dead.

$SPY came off a bit Monday but nothing to consider.

Still playing morning momos and expect it to be active Tuesday.

Also watching some new plays talked about in room below today, and $ZAIS, $FNMA (Trump play – not currently in but have been trading them), $OPXA (out Monday morning as noted but I like the chart), $ASM (great story referred by HedgeHog Trader, watching very close), $DUST (looking for intermin Gold reversal as I am in 2/5 size so I may hammer other 3/5 and play a turn for a flat goal), $JUNO and $CBMX (will hold in to late spring if needed and may add), $TRCH and $LGCY (oil and Trump play).

Earnings on deck:

And Epic the Oil Algo nailed the Friday target area – so the machines are still in it – that’s good – looking for a hit on target for Tuesday 10:30 AM now.
