This will involve a significant number of posts, trade alerts, mid day reviews in the trading room and videos that our members will receive a copy of.
Executing your swing trading strategy with our charting reports and live alerts involves using the key support and resistance areas of the charting, time cycle peaks, trajectory of trade and conventional indicators such as MACD cross-over and Moving Averages.
Alerts are not always issued at each add or trim to positions because that is simply not possible so you do have to manage your trade.
In many instances a clear swing trade strategy is laid out in the newsletter and/or videos so that you can manage the swing trade according to your risk threshold and account size.

The trading strategy for swing trades in TESLA can be really simple.
The best way to swing trade TESLA is using the white arrows on the chart (these are primary support and resistance areas on the chart). When price breaches up through an arrow go long and the opposite for short. Set a stop that you are comfortable with in accordance to your risk threshold. If the trade goes your way simply trim profit at the fine detailed support and resistance areas on the chart.
If you are a more active swing trader then you can obviously look at each area of support and resistance for various sizing opportunities.
Alternatively to the above arrow trading strategy, you can also wait for a pull back to a key support or resistance and then enter (vs the brak out above or below key resistance).
The TESLA chart offers on of the best trading ranges and the key support and resistance areas work well. We have done well on numerous occasions swing trading TESLA. The most recent short wasn’t the best of the trades but focusing on the range of the trade, the general trend and the key support and resistance noted on this chart model provides for a really opportune swing trading environment given the range.

This trade started off well and as a daytrade it was excellent. On the swing it is still in play but trade did bounce at support below so be sure to exit before any loss as it is on the right side still. The trade is so close to the lower end of its trading range there’s no wisdom in holding if it turns against the original entry 225.05.

Okay, now that we got that out of the way…
FACEBOOK (FB) VS AMAZON (AMZN)
I don’t like the idea of long trades with $GOOGL, $FB, $AMZN or $TWTR (least of the concern is Twitter). At issue, they’re going to get wacked. When? No idea. My guess, generally speaking the time frame around earnings – ish will be a tough ride for longs in $GOOGL and $FB but that is yet to be seen. $AMZN likely comes off around earnings because it will likely be sell the news. But $GOOGL and $FB more so that I think Trump and friends are likely to wack them around earnings.
I could be wrong, but hey, lets get you ready both ways so if you’re trading long or short you know your chart levels for your trading strategy.

According to Zacks Investment Research, based on 13 analysts’ forecasts, the consensus EPS forecast for the quarter is $1.9. The reported EPS for the same quarter last year was $1.74.

We have always done well trading Facebook because it is one of the most structured equities on the markets. Trade channels (yellow examples shown) and check the price action relative to the channel at the key time cycles (vertical green). Yes, it is that easy.
You can also consider the trading boxes (orange) – they provide a range, moving averages (not so much imo) and horizontal Fibonacci lines in the chart model below. The green and gray horizontal are key pivots. The diagonal Fibonacci trend lines (blue dotted) provide the framework for possible channels.
It doesn’t surprise me the upcoming time cycle peak in to July 22 is around FB earnings scheduled for July 24, 2019. If price spikes above current channel my advice is to be very cautious with long entries up and above the channel.
Anytime you are trading with a structured algorithmic chart model and trade leaves the structure you can be sure its divergent and very likely to correct back in to its natural structure.
Your best trading strategy for Facebook earnings?
Don’t rush, don’t hold in to earnings, there is no need. And don’t rush when its in its new channel whether up or down. Let the channel establish itself and then simply starting adding in to the trend within the channel according to direction. That’s it. That strategy will return excellent ROI, you will beat the market many times over because Facebook is that good of a trading vehicle.

Per the previous post below, watch the top of the trading box resistance area on the chart just over 2100.00. As I noted prior, I am bearish Amazon but I can’t say when I think it will lose steam, I think its a geo political signalling event that could also have signals with earnings coming in short of expectations over the next number of quarters. But the timing is going to be the issue. For now, the top of the trading box is considerable resistance.
After earnings simply trade in the direction of the trajectory (see arrows on chart pointing toward price targets for April 2020). And then when the geo political issues start to ramp up and price responds then it is time to short this stock.

As with Amazon, I think Google is going to be considerably challenged by the US government and other governments around the world. At this point I think Amazon is at most risk, with Google next, then Facebook and then Twitter. Twitter and Square may fair well, but Amazon I see at very high risk and Google at high risk. Google as with Amazon will be very good short positions when the time is right.

The Twitter chart structure is not nearly as good as Google, Facebook and Amazon but it may be less affected by the coming government anti-trust challenge I believe is on the horizon. Twitter is on watch for after earnings this week.

Last evening we intended to get all the reporting completed and got distracted with other issues, for now see below for Facebook set up and the start of Amazon set up and we will continue this reporting stream this evening for all the other earnings swing trade set ups.
Over the coming days we will be re-visiting all recent swing trade set-ups, alerts and trades in progress to reconcile the trades in advance of earnings and prepare for the new on other side of each new set up from earnings reports. Executing your swing trading strategy with our charting reports and live alerts involves using the key support and resistance areas of the charting, time cycle peaks, trajectory of trade and conventional indicators such as MACD cross-over and Moving Averages.
Alerts are not always issued at each add or trim to positions because that is simply not possible so you do have to manage your trade.
In many instances a clear swing trade strategy is laid out in the newsletter and/or videos so that you can manage the swing trade according to your risk threshold and account size.

The trading strategy for swing trades in TESLA can be really simple.
The best way to swing trade TESLA is using the white arrows on the chart (these are primary support and resistance areas on the chart). When price breaches up through an arrow go long and the opposite for short. Set a stop that you are comfortable with in accordance to your risk threshold. If the trade goes your way simply trim profit at the fine detailed support and resistance areas on the chart.
If you are a more active swing trader then you can obviously look at each area of support and resistance for various sizing opportunities.
Alternatively to the above arrow trading strategy, you can also wait for a pull back to a key support or resistance and then enter (vs the brak out above or below key resistance).
The TESLA chart offers on of the best trading ranges and the key support and resistance areas work well. We have done well on numerous occasions swing trading TESLA. The most recent short wasn’t the best of the trades but focusing on the range of the trade, the general trend and the key support and resistance noted on this chart model provides for a really opportune swing trading environment given the range.

This trade started off well and as a daytrade it was excellent. On the swing it is still in play but trade did bounce at support below so be sure to exit before any loss as it is on the right side still. The trade is so close to the lower end of its trading range there’s no wisdom in holding if it turns against the original entry 225.05.

Okay, now that we got that out of the way…
FACEBOOK (FB) VS AMAZON (AMZN)
I don’t like the idea of long trades with $GOOGL, $FB, $AMZN or $TWTR (least of the concern is Twitter). At issue, they’re going to get wacked. When? No idea. My guess, generally speaking the time frame around earnings – ish will be a tough ride for longs in $GOOGL and $FB but that is yet to be seen. $AMZN likely comes off around earnings because it will likely be sell the news. But $GOOGL and $FB more so that I think Trump and friends are likely to wack them around earnings.
I could be wrong, but hey, lets get you ready both ways so if you’re trading long or short you know your chart levels for your trading strategy.

Earnings announcement* for FB: Jul 24, 2019
Facebook, Inc. is expected* to report earnings on 07/24/2019 after market close. The report will be for the fiscal Quarter ending Jun 2019. According to Zacks Investment Research, based on 13 analysts’ forecasts, the consensus EPS forecast for the quarter is $1.9. The reported EPS for the same quarter last year was $1.74.

We have always done well trading Facebook because it is one of the most structured equities on the markets. Trade channels (yellow examples shown) and check the price action relative to the channel at the key time cycles (vertical green). Yes, it is that easy.
You can also consider the trading boxes (orange) – they provide a range, moving averages (not so much imo) and horizontal Fibonacci lines in the chart model below. The green and gray horizontal are key pivots. The diagonal Fibonacci trend lines (blue dotted) provide the framework for possible channels.
It doesn’t surprise me the upcoming time cycle peak in to July 22 is around FB earnings scheduled for July 24, 2019. If price spikes above current channel my advice is to be very cautious with long entries up and above the channel.
Anytime you are trading with a structured algorithmic chart model and trade leaves the structure you can be sure its divergent and very likely to correct back in to its natural structure.
Your best trading strategy for Facebook earnings?
Don’t rush, don’t hold in to earnings, there is no need. And don’t rush when its in its new channel whether up or down. Let the channel establish itself and then simply starting adding in to the trend within the channel according to direction. That’s it. That strategy will return excellent ROI, you will beat the market many times over because Facebook is that good of a trading vehicle.

A Large Time-Cycle in Global Markets is at an Inflection Point, Below Are Trade Set-Ups to Watch.
The Swing Trades (Trends), Investment (Hedge) and Day Trade Ideas Below Reflect Two Primary Opposing Scenarios.
I have messaged this possible development in the markets being near for some time – the time is here-now in my best estimation.
In to December I was messaging a large time cycle to start late December 2018 (saying that it would be the biggest in my 30 years of trading) and that it would last in to the third week of May 2019 and for some financial instruments (such as crude oil) in to the week of June 10, 2019.
The market ran hard from Dec 24, 2018 until early May and then really came off in to the 3rd week of May.
The run was in many ways one of the most significant in modern time. The next is huge and lasts in to 2025 (sure there are time-cycles on lower time frames in between the big). Everything is about to change (if I’m correct).
Going forward…
One scenario has the masters of the global economy using magic money, rates, manipulated media and the like to run markets up and up.
The other opposing scenario sees masters of the globe at war with one another, resulting in market upheaval, whipsaw at best.
One scenario has precious metals to the moon and the other with continued price suppression – look at a long term Gold chart.
One scenario has crypto flying high with Bitcoin at 1,000,000.00 plus and the other with Facebook’s crypto offering at 1,000,000.00 and Bitcoin at tanking to 900.00 (some drama added there).
One has the old guard in tech (social media) giants such as Facebook, Google and Twitter flourishing – avoiding DOJ investigation, suppressing global community back-lash and reigning supreme dominance over upstart threats.
The other sees old guard tech under endless government investigation resulting in possible break-ups in to disjointed parts of the old, global consciousness pushing back against privacy intrusion and new competitors out-smarting and maneuvering them.
One has new tech niche areas of opportunity finding fantastic success in a world that needs more security, more connectivity and more monitoring. More VR, more movies, more me – it is about me after all.
The other has investors supporting ethically driven tech management teams creating new paradigms in corporate global community tech structures.
One has globalists rolling out a continued grand vision of the new world order. And the other scenario finds the likes of Soros picking up pieces of the past, if at all.
I could go on for a week with examples. I’m sure you get the point.
We believe these two opposing scenarios will play out over the next five or so years like a ping-pong game (we’re riding the ball in the game) – extreme opposite scenarios at war.
For one day, a week, a month (or more) everything will run to the moon and then as fast as you can turn your head between monitors the whole game will change.
We see our job to be aware, prepared and awake enough to execute on the opportunities this upheaval will bring.
This will require flexibility in trading strategy, it will demand a lot of study and intensive focus on a daily basis.
Our reporting will reflect this. It will be more regular and include more diversity of trade set-ups going forward.
This will also require an understanding of the structure of the financial instruments on watch. The study and understanding of the structure is required in advance. As the opportunities arise (as markets are inflecting) then these reports (and included charts and links) can be referenced quickly and instruments traded within a few seconds or minutes because the work has been done in advance.
We will look at our standards (Gold, Silver, USD, Oil, SPY, BTC, VIX) in more depth and more often.
We will look to the oversold, over bought, the neglected and undervalued equities. Large, mid, small and micro cap equities. Catalysts within time-frames will be key.
Global market inflections will also be key – in commodities, indices, equities, currencies, bonds, credit, crypto and more. If it is a financial instrument that can be traded and the opportunity for exception risk reward is present – expect our reporting to cover it.
Why? Because there will be opportunity within very specific areas of inflection, but we see a nimble bias with focused intention to be required.
We see turmoil on the horizon, and we don’t expect that to dissipate, we expect it to escalate.
If we are correct, our economic reality will change over the next five or six years in ways that will confuse the pundits and masses.
We intend to trade the confusion, uncertainty, inflections, volatility and hidden opportunity with skill and purpose.
Below are the first of the set-ups.
We will start with some timely standards (to be sure we have the general structure of the playing field) and then over the coming days and weeks we will move more and more in to catalyst driven equities, commodities, currencies, indices etc.
Note: Check the date on each chart to be sure they are current to your time-frame.
Lets consider defensive trades, the hedges, the volatility scenarios.
Trade # 1 – The Trade You Don’t Want to Ignore, AngloGold Ashanti (AU)

Be careful with your bias, do not ignore this fantastic risk reward opportunity packed with an opportunity to hedge your portfolio against volatility created within poor equity market sentiment scenarios. I don’t warn often and if you have followed me for any time, when I do I’m normally spot on. One of our skills. Another is time cycles.
Bottom line, the return on investment vs. return within consideration of the hedging bonus makes this play hard to beat. When sentiment tanks long this thing, when sentiment improves trim your longs, rinse, repeat. You are likely to see a better return trading AU than you will trading Gold, Silver and other similar plays.

Trade # 2 – Volatility Itself. VIX. Soon we will look at the volatility within volatility trade, for now, lets look at the structural VIX charting and related instruments for trade.
The simple volatility time cycles on simple structured VIX charting are one of the best timing gauges for equity market moves and sentiment. Overlooked by mainstream financial market media so much I have to assume it is intentional. Lets take a look at what VIX has to tell us.
One my favorites, below are my comments and observations;
- I produced this chart in late 2018 telling clients to watch out because that trend-line was coming to an end. That resistance would be gone and a new era in volatility was around the corner. Obviously. What wasn’t so obvious was what structure (form) this coming volatility would take, so I provided three scenarios (review chart below). The scenarios (or possible structures of trade within the instrument) are all playing out in real world trade in 2019. Why do I mention this? Because I know our time cycle and financial instrument structured charting (modeling) hits a high percentage of the time. Why does that matter? Because its our job to be right. To help our clients make money. Check our record with time cycles and instrument model structure. Here’s the problem, people don’t have time so they think / say things like this… if your record is so good then you could alert every trade for me, or trade for me everything you see, or nobody can be right that often and on and on and on. All I can say is check our record in presenting structured models and time cycles. It’s our primary / main / best asset to our clients. We can’t trade every set-up, we can’t alert every set-up, but we can report (like this) and it’s up to you (in large part) to reference previous reporting and check the models. They work, you just have to consider it your library of structured set ups. So I’ll say it again, it isn’t a need to be right for the sake of being able to say we are right. Our job is to be right and remind our clients of where specifically we are typically most right. We are most right in this type of example. Structured time cycle chart models. VIX is a perfect example.
- Look closely at the diagonal GANN fanning support and resistance areas, they will help you trade this.
- Pay close attention to the vertical red dotted (time cycle) measured time frames for inflections in price. You will notice price to spike in to or out of or dump in to and spike out of each vertical time cycle.
- Notice the orange triangle (which was the third consideration when I put out the detailed VIX report), it was the most peaked of the structures and sure enough VIX spiked highest right on time right there.
- The horizontal Fibonacci levels are the least of the consideration with trading VIX.
- When a time cycle is coming due… think about the equity markets relative to the probability of VIX spiking in to the time cycle (vertical red) or dumping in to the time cycle. If Volatility is in a trend to continue dumping in to the vertical then your equity longs should be your bias. If the trend for VIX in to that vertical is likely to see a spike then you should be thinking in terms of a bias long Bitcoin, previous metals, VIX etc.
- Remember, this chart wasn’t just modeled, it was modeled six or more months ago. Think GPS, road map, structure etc.
- This is likely one of the best gauges of global market sentiment relative to equity positioning you will find. And mainstream media won’t tell you how simple it is to model it so that you can position your trading properly in to each inflection.
Volatility (VIX) Weekly chart structure with simple time cycles is one of my favorite charts to trade $VIX $TVIX $UVXY
So what does the VIX charting and /or structured chart models say about the future now?
1 – Volatility (VIX) MACD may be turning up signalling a long.
The problem is that price is above mid Bollinger nearing upper band, this isn’t a best case long timing, but timing may not be on your side here (review structured model on chart down). The time to short the VIX (you can short TVIX or UVXY ETNs for leveraged exposure fyi) is not until price is above the upper Bollinger. I don’t recommend holding a short position as such over night.
You can day trade and swing trade volatility with UVXY, TVIX and other related instruments of trade.

2 – If history rhymes, volatility (VIX) will spike in to Oct 21, 2019 and start early in progression. $VIX #swingtrading
Look closely at the price trend in VIX, the progression in bullish behavior of the VIX trade is starting earlier and earlier in to each time cycle peak (the peak represented by the three pyramids). Now, does this mean it will happen again for sure? No, absolutely not. HOWEVER, there is a significant probability that the next occurs on time, the trend continues bullish earlier as represented on the chart and if I’m right, the next spike could be significantly higher than the previous two. In fact, it could extend 50% more without effort. Momentum is building.
The chart below is how I knew that the time cycles for the general markets extended from the week of Dec 17, 2018 (approx) to the week of May 21 (approx). There were some other important chart models in the markets that implied that the week of May 21 could be extended to the week of June 10. The correlation between the key models in various areas of the markets is key.
If volatility spikes in to October 2019, I think 41.00 is an easy price target and 50 – 60 are possible. It is an “if” it spikes scenario however.
Shorting volatility in to this time cycle in to late 2019 would be foolish imo.

Trade # 3 – Bitcoin. BTC XBT
When I signaled an alert to long Bitcoin, this was your best clue (that we could provide) that equity market pressure wasn’t far behind. Not that BTC moves can be correlated to equity markets, but a signal to buy Bitcoin after a long consolidation (and likely manipulation) period should be considered as a bearish signal for equity markets. Perhaps a bullish signal for Gold and Silver also, however, Gold and Silver have an invisible hand that BTC does not. BTC is likely to be allowed to live, if not thrive for some time in a scenario in which the likes of Facebook FB are allowed (or directed) to create and grow crypto networks within their platforms.
It was an obvious trade imo (long BTC).
The screen shot of the alert below to long Bitcoin shows the date to be at the end of January 2019. How did I time this trade? Market forces began messaging Facebook’s intent to launch a crypto currency.

If Facebook is endorsing crypto “they” – the invisible hand are likely to allow BTC to run. If BTC runs crypto enthusiasts become happy preparing the way for the Facebook “better” alternative. Simple manipulation of the masses.

Lets look at the structure of the Bitcoin trade now.

The one scenario below shows the white arrows trending up and the other with white arrow trending down to what I see as near term support.
Each horizontal Fibonacci line (and diagonal gray dotted) is support and resistance. Size your trades, adds, trims etc according to them. The more important decisions are marked on the chart with white arrows.
The orange box is a trading box. When price is in the box expect large moves. Use the mid point of the box as support and resistance.
The green arrow is when we alerted to our clients to buy and the red arrow is when we alerted to trim long positions.
Over 9575.00 (held) is very bullish. Bitcoin is trading at 7914.00 intra-day. The 6440.00 area is considerable support in my opinion. Anything under that is bearish.
Bitcoin can be traded on various crypto exchanges, on US exchanges you can trade BTC (XBT) futures, there are Bitcoin related equities (in an upcoming post) and there are swap exchanges that enable trade with instruments such as XBTUSD.

Trade # 4 – Crude Oil $CL_F $USOIL $WTI $USO $UWT $DWT
Daily – measured move extension on Fib structure, could be bottom support. White arrows.
This could be an area of trade that sees a near term bottom. Crude oil is not easy to trade, but if you get the turns on the larger structure right, there are few financial instruments that can return profit to your portfolio like oil can. But you have to get it right.
Crude oil can be traded on regular equity markets using UWT (long oil) DWT (short oil) and with a variety of other related instruments of trade.

Use the trend-lines and horizontal / diagonal Fibonacci lines for general areas of support and resistance. A channel will develop soon that will help with your trade size and flow.

Trade # 5 – Gold $GC_F $XAUUSD $GLD $UGLD $DGLD

I am still short Gold but I will have to seriously reconsider if price beaches the red line resistance above. It is in to a time cycle peak for ealy August so I am watching closely here.

Trade # 6 – US Dollar Index $DXY $UUP
The US Dollar Index (DXY) is trading within a structured range, watch for divergent moves going forward. $DXY $UUP
I have been bullish the dollar since its range lows back in January of 2018, however, I’m starting to tilt to the bearish side and looking for a short under the 200 MA on the Weekly Chart (pink line below).

Trade # 7 – Silver $SI_F $SLV $USLV $DSLV
The key to the Silver trade is the squeeze momentum indicator (at bottom of chart) on the Weekly time frame. #Silver
I have watched the Silver trade for years, and this beyond most has been manipulated by an invisible hand for some time. One of the few indicators that works with reliability is the squeeze momentum indicators specifically on the weekly time-frame. When it is deep in red and turns dark red its a buy and when it is red and turns green it is also a buy.
When it turns to a buy next time I will provide the shorter time frame model that is very predictable.

Trade # 8 – ALPHABET / GOOGLE (GOOGL), FACEBOOK (FB), TWITTER (TWTR), AMAZON (AMZN) and more tech titans.

My bias is to short Google and Facebook at every important resistance area (and perhaps Twitter and even Amazon if it sets up properly).
On the flip side, you can see these tech titans also starting to position themselves for the change near. Facebook bought Instagram and Whatsapp because Facebook is obviously in late cycle growth. Facebook may also have a crypto offering and a payments platform very soon.

Jan 28, 2019 mid day report.
It’s earnings season, this is the big week with over one hundred companies are reporting. I am bias to a bullish run post earnings in to May 2019.
The following is my bias;
When oil bounces I will be long Oil adding to DWT short, long SPY, Dollar not sure, Volatility short, Silver and Gold slightly bias to short, BTC short, Natural Gas is a timing thing.
Oil is reviewed at various points in this video as it trades intra-day.
Refer to charting in the premium member special reporting issued recently (links above).
TESLA (TSLA) normally I would be looking for a long in this range on the charting but I am looking for short in this one instance. Looking for 231.00 and possibly more is my price target. If wrong first target upside for Tesla in 330s then 380s. March 26 timing.
In other words bullish the market and bearish TESLA.
ALIBABA (BABA) strong resistance just under trading box here. Price target 238.00 range (178.00 – 208.00 is reasonable bullish target area in trajectory of chart). I am really bullish Amazon.
FACEBOOK (FB) I don’t like but it could surprise and run here. Fundamental view and technically it is a bit of a mess. Nature of news flow could be setting up for a short squeeze. 150 MA in 166s is likely first price target, trading 147s intra-day. If sell-off happens refer to previous model in reports.
MICROSOFT (MSFT) not reviewing, not the same risk reward as Amazon here so I will likely trade Amazon and leave MSFT be.
AMAZON (AMZN) price target 1946.00 and on a double extension is 2210.00 and even 2300s is possible in to July 2019. The price target timing is Feb 25 on the first area. 1173.00 is sell off target. The timing depends on the trajectory of trade post earnings.

EAGLE MATERIALS (EXP) trendline supports I am watching are the support areas I have as support, I’m looking for a bounce at the trend line with resistance at 73.00, 85.00, 91.00.
APPLE (AAPL) 152.98 is your main pivot and price is in that slot. Other side of earnings should bring a direction to the model and I’ll trade it.
ALLERGAN (AGN) Bounce at main pivot occurred in the sell off late 2018. Price target 155.9 support trading 157.13 (151.87 even possible then a rip). Bullish trend line to 202.00 is my price target. Other targets reviewed on video in trajectory up and support down noted. Mid May time cycle conclusion on AGN confirms on this and many charts.
ADVANCED MICRO (AMD) upside bullish trajectory is reviewed on the video. Other side of earnings 24s price target Mar 13 then 26.50 then 28s next reviewed on video.
AK STEEL (AKS) – has been in pivot trade on daily since Jan 8, upside target 4.03 and downside 1.63 trading 2.70. I have no bias.
NETFLIX (NFLX) support pivot 319.22 resistance 357.53 trading intra-day 331.80 off 1.85% on the day. Time cycle Jan 31 makes it difficult to take a trade here, trading in basket of trading quad here. Waiting for other side of Jan 31. 338.26 PT mid May 2019 as a bias.
AMERICAN EXPRESS (AXP) over 99.00 targets 112.00. Trading 99.76 down 1% on day. Model is very structured and following its trajectory When oil bounces this is one to take. 112.14 PT July which puts mid May in to play as PT timing if really bullish. Great example of post earnings structure. See vid.
Morgan Stanley (MS) more complicated chart, near bottom of trading channel, 42.81 intra day, long term 2021 Mar 76.50 is bullish target or in to Aug 55.21 is near term bullish price target.
DELTA AIRLINES (DAL) trading 48.13 intra day up .9% on day, 49.59 PT Feb 4 and then decision, other side of Feb 4 a trade entry can be taken.
BANK OF AMERICA (BAC) early in to earnings season I should have take this trade, the set-up on chart model is reviewed in detail on video, hoping for low 28s for entry. Decent set-up.
SHAW COMMUNICATIONS (SJR) getting in to early May 2019 there is a target zone and the trajectory and structure is explained, can’t trade it because of time cycles. Risk Reward not there for a trade.
CITIGROUP (C) – CITI is now in to its resistance area under its pivot, this is the 2nd I missed so far, 61.04 in sell off then 47.67, bias to 73.87 breach to upside price target early March then July and mid May time cycles reviewed.

Welcome to a series of special reports during earnings season for our swing trading platform. There will be a significant number of these mini reports.
Until mid July 2018 we distributed one swing trading report (1 of 5 in rotation) with a mandate being one report per week (on average) cycling the five reports (that include over one hundred equities) every five weeks (approximately).
Commencing July 2018 we switched up our swing trading service rotation to also include reports for earnings season, special trade set-ups, themed reports and swing trade alerts direct to your email inbox.
After earnings season we will recommence the regular rotations.
When managing your trades with the weekly reports keep in mind that you will have to invest an hour or two a week to check the indicators mentioned for buy and sell triggers. I was asked recently why we do not usually (although we do sometimes) include precise entry and exit points. The reason is simple, they don’t work – those services have terrible results.
Swing trading success, even with a service, does require “some” maintenance on the part of the user, although the new live alert service will take much of that burden off the user as we know many of our users have busy lives. It is the indicators lining up that signal a trade long entry or an exit. In our case we rely heavily on the natural trading structure of the financial instrument; including the MACD on daily or weekly, Stochastic RSI, Moving Averages, trading boxes, quadrants, Fibonacci support and resistance, trend lines, trajectory / trend of trade, time-cycles and more.
Indicators we base trade entry and exits on are at times listed with each trade posted so any user that does even moderate trade management will know when the indicator(s) have turn with or against the trade (here again it is wise to have at least a basic understanding of trading structures because you need to be able to respond to your own trading rules based process).
It is critical that you attend to the maintenance of your signals at least once a week if not twice and set stops and preferably alarms so that intra-week you can enter / exit or add / trim as required.
If you need help with rules based swing trading technical analysis, a specific trading plan (entries, exits, adds or trims) or with a simple understanding of proper structured charting and/or trading structured set-ups you can book some trade coaching time and we will assist you with your trade planning as needed. You may find after a few hours of trade coaching that this is all you need to become a proficient profit side trader.

Jan 27 – The upside move here could be huge. Price on a launch pad right under 20 and 50 MA’s on weekly chart with SQZMOM and MACD supporting a possible move. Wouldn’t want to be short in to earnings. Risk reward very poor for shorts.

My Trading Plan for Amazon Earnings:
It’s simple, if price breaches the 20 and 50 MA it’s a long to test previous highs (the pivot of around 1950.00). And if previous highs are taken out, look for an equal extension to upside of previous highs (price target around 2200.00). If Amazon sells off, look to 200 MA (near) test and bounce.

The set-up is very similar to Amazon, but the 20 and 50 MA’s aren’t pinching like on Amazon chart and price didn’t pull back enough. Also, the fundamental picture isn’t as strong. The Amazon chart trajectory holds much higher risk reward for the bullish trade bias.
However, if it sells-off I wouldn’t expect as much of pull back as with Amazon.
So it depends if you are considering a trade position in to earnings or not. I will wait until after earnings are announced for both, And likely not trade Microsoft. Yet to be seen.
Trading Plan for Microsoft Earnings:
In a bullish run you can expect previous highs, however, I wouldn’t expect much more near term.
In a sell-off I would target a touch to 100 MA (near to). Unlikely imo.

Monday Jan 7 – Two days to let market structure settle and the report flow for the next six month time cycles starts. #patience #caution.
Fri Jan 4 – If Fed pauses hikes and US-China trade relations improve oil should run in to May targets oil bundle members have (especially if OPEC cuts remain in play), the markets should run up in to May. Gold, Silver, VIX, DXY and Bitcoin may (are likely) to get soft and equities will be a stock pickers environment (traded properly within instrument structure) during that period (Q1 2019). Generally this is how it looks currently. But yet to be seen in to next week forward – this is one scenario. Reporting and alerts (either way) will become very active as next week rolls out and in to next 6 months. We will have the structure of trade for our coverage (the algorithm models and swing platform) so that we can trade either scenarios (up or down in each, including swing trading).

Refer to date at top left of each chart (charts can be carried forward for some time). Trade alerts and stock chart set-ups should be traded decision to decision process – when trade set-up fails cut position fast. Leg in to winners at key resistance and support (at retracement or breach) and exit losers fast based on technical support and resistance. Not all set-ups work, the purpose of technical analysis is to provide a framework to trade (chart structure enables a trader to set stops where a trade has failed or leg in to winners and trim winners). Purpose of trade alerts is to bring awareness of a trade set-up in play but you have to execute the trade based on your trading strategy (which should be harnessed in your rules based process).

If you are new to our trading service you should review recent blog posts, the Compound Trading YouTube Channel and at minimum our algorithm Twitter feeds because they do tell a story in terms of the market and how the inflections of the market determine our day to day trading. You will notice the algorithmic modelling has been undeniably accurate with many time-frames (intra-day, weeks and months out) so I myself have learned to respect the math (they have taken me from a 60% hit rate to 80%+ all publicly posted live trade alerts).
Momentum Stocks (Market Open and Intra-Day):
I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid much of the day trading risk (preferring to daytrade only what is structurally set-up also on the swing trade side and to my advantage in the algorithmic model charting). I often avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks or structured (per explanation in previous sentence) stocks later in day after a wash-out looking for a snap-back trade that can possibly also become a strong swing or longer term trade that I can leg in to. Just prior to open and shortly after open I post momentum stocks to the trade chat room (and Twitter and Stocktwits if I have time).

Further to that public Twitter post, over next two quarters I expect the equity markets to continue under serious pressure in to rates, after a technical retracement oil to skyrocket unless Trump can get a handle on the price somehow (trying with Saudi’s now), Dollar likely to spike hard for some time then fall off a cliff, volatility to increase, Gold and Silver get up and going soon and Crypto to fly. That’s my bias, thesis, trading plan in to next two quarters. Timing will be key. All of our reporting will reflect this near term and will also focus on key swing trading set-ups within themes.

Please refer to the date at top left of each chart (charts are often carried forward for some time). Trade alerts and stock chart set-ups should be traded as decision to decision process – when the trade set-up fails cut your position fast. Leg in to the winners at key resistance and support (at retracement or breach) and exit the losers fast based on technical support and resistance. Not all set-ups work, the purpose of technical analysis is to provide the framework for your trade (the chart structure enables the trader to set stops where a trade is a failed trade and leg in to winners and trim winners per the chart). The purpose of trade alerts is to bring awareness of the trade set-up in play but you have to execute the trade based on your trading strategy that should be harnessed in your rules based process.

If you are new to our trading service you should review recent blog posts, the Compound Trading YouTube Channel and at minimum our algorithm Twitter feeds because they do tell a story in terms of the market and how the inflections of the market determine our day to day trading. You will notice the algorithmic modelling has been undeniably accurate with many time-frames (intra-day, weeks and months out) so I myself have learned to respect the math (they have taken me from a 60% hit rate to 80%+ all publicly posted live trade alerts).
Momentum Stocks (Market Open and Intra-Day):
I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid much of the day trading risk (preferring to daytrade only what is structurally set-up also on the swing trade side and to my advantage in the algorithmic model charting). I often avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks or structured (per explanation in previous sentence) stocks later in day after a wash-out looking for a snap-back trade that can possibly also become a strong swing or longer term trade that I can leg in to. Just prior to open and shortly after open I post momentum stocks to the trade chat room (and Twitter and Stocktwits if I have time).
Some of my Favorite Intra-day Trading Set-Ups:
(1) Momentum Stock Wash-Outs for Snap Back, (2) Bad News Wash-outs on Stocks with High Institutional Ownership, (3) Getting on the Right Side of a Trend Change and scaling in my position and (4) Our Algorithm Charting Model Set-Ups.
The momentum stocks (from previous days and morning trade) I continue to watch through the day for indicators that allow a trade.

Free scanners to find momentum stocks that you can easily review charts of for indicators that bring probability of your trade being successful up considerably. These are not useful for first 30 minute market open gap and go type plays (you need a good momentum scanner, level 2, and best to have hot-keys for the first 30 mins of gap and go trading)… but are very useful for intra day scalping and swing trading (start with trending stocks and then look at indicators intra for simple set-ups – study scan study scan study scan).
