Jan 28, 2019 mid day report.

It’s earnings season, this is the big week with over one hundred companies are reporting. I am bias to a bullish run post earnings in to May 2019.

The following is my bias;

When oil bounces I will be long Oil adding to DWT short, long SPY, Dollar not sure, Volatility short, Silver and Gold slightly bias to short, BTC short, Natural Gas is a timing thing.

Oil is reviewed at various points in this video as it trades intra-day.

Refer to charting in the premium member special reporting issued recently (links above).

TESLA (TSLA) normally I would be looking for a long in this range on the charting but I am looking for short in this one instance. Looking for 231.00 and possibly more is my price target. If wrong first target upside for Tesla in 330s then 380s. March 26 timing.

In other words bullish the market and bearish TESLA.

ALIBABA (BABA) strong resistance just under trading box here. Price target 238.00 range (178.00 – 208.00 is reasonable bullish target area in trajectory of chart). I am really bullish Amazon.

FACEBOOK (FB) I don’t like but it could surprise and run here. Fundamental view and technically it is a bit of a mess. Nature of news flow could be setting up for a short squeeze. 150 MA in 166s is likely first price target, trading 147s intra-day. If sell-off happens refer to previous model in reports.

MICROSOFT (MSFT) not reviewing, not the same risk reward as Amazon here so I will likely trade Amazon and leave MSFT be.

AMAZON (AMZN) price target 1946.00 and on a double extension is 2210.00 and even 2300s is possible in to July 2019. The price target timing is Feb 25 on the first area. 1173.00 is sell off target. The timing depends on the trajectory of trade post earnings.

AMAZON (AMZN) Earnings swing trade price targets for upside move or sell – off. $AMZN #swingtrading #earnings

EAGLE MATERIALS (EXP) trendline supports I am watching are the support areas I have as support, I’m looking for a bounce at the trend line with resistance at 73.00, 85.00, 91.00.

APPLE (AAPL) 152.98 is your main pivot and price is in that slot. Other side of earnings should bring a direction to the model and I’ll trade it.

ALLERGAN (AGN) Bounce at main pivot occurred in the sell off late 2018. Price target 155.9 support trading 157.13 (151.87 even possible then a rip). Bullish trend line to 202.00 is my price target. Other targets reviewed on video in trajectory up and support down noted. Mid May time cycle conclusion on AGN confirms on this and many charts.

ADVANCED MICRO (AMD) upside bullish trajectory is reviewed on the video. Other side of earnings 24s price target Mar 13 then 26.50 then 28s next reviewed on video.

AK STEEL (AKS) – has been in pivot trade on daily since Jan 8, upside target 4.03 and downside 1.63 trading 2.70. I have no bias.

NETFLIX (NFLX) support pivot 319.22 resistance 357.53 trading intra-day 331.80 off 1.85% on the day. Time cycle Jan 31 makes it difficult to take a trade here, trading in basket of trading quad here. Waiting for other side of Jan 31. 338.26 PT mid May 2019 as a bias.

AMERICAN EXPRESS (AXP) over 99.00 targets 112.00. Trading 99.76 down 1% on day. Model is very structured and following its trajectory When oil bounces this is one to take. 112.14 PT July which puts mid May in to play as PT timing if really bullish. Great example of post earnings structure. See vid.

Morgan Stanley (MS) more complicated chart, near bottom of trading channel, 42.81 intra day, long term 2021 Mar 76.50 is bullish target or in to Aug 55.21 is near term bullish price target.

DELTA AIRLINES (DAL) trading 48.13 intra day up .9% on day, 49.59 PT Feb 4 and then decision, other side of Feb 4 a trade entry can be taken.

BANK OF AMERICA (BAC) early in to earnings season I should have take this trade, the set-up on chart model is reviewed in detail on video, hoping for low 28s for entry. Decent set-up.

SHAW COMMUNICATIONS (SJR) getting in to early May 2019 there is a target zone and the trajectory and structure is explained, can’t trade it because of time cycles. Risk Reward not there for a trade.

CITIGROUP (C) – CITI is now in to its resistance area under its pivot, this is the 2nd I missed so far, 61.04 in sell off then 47.67, bias to 73.87 breach to upside price target early March then July and mid May time cycles reviewed.

Welcome to a series of special reports during earnings season for our swing trading platform. There will be a significant number of these mini reports.

Until mid July 2018 we distributed one swing trading report (1 of 5 in rotation) with a mandate being one report per week (on average) cycling the five reports (that include over one hundred equities) every five weeks (approximately).

Commencing July 2018 we switched up our swing trading service rotation to also include reports for earnings season, special trade set-ups, themed reports and swing trade alerts direct to your email inbox.

After earnings season we will recommence the regular rotations.

When managing your trades with the weekly reports keep in mind that you will have to invest an hour or two a week to check the indicators mentioned for buy and sell triggers. I was asked recently why we do not usually (although we do sometimes) include precise entry and exit points. The reason is simple, they don’t work – those services have terrible results.

Swing trading success, even with a service, does require “some” maintenance on the part of the user, although the new live alert service will take much of that burden off the user as we know many of our users have busy lives. It is the indicators lining up that signal a trade long entry or an exit. In our case we rely heavily on the natural trading structure of the financial instrument; including the MACD on daily or weekly, Stochastic RSI, Moving Averages, trading boxes, quadrants, Fibonacci support and resistance, trend lines, trajectory / trend of trade, time-cycles and more.

Indicators we base trade entry and exits on are at times listed with each trade posted so any user that does even moderate trade management will know when the indicator(s) have turn with or against the trade (here again it is wise to have at least a basic understanding of trading structures because you need to be able to respond to your own trading rules based process).

It is critical that you attend to the maintenance of your signals at least once a week if not twice and set stops and preferably alarms so that intra-week you can enter / exit or add / trim as required.

If you need help with rules based swing trading technical analysis, a specific trading plan (entries, exits, adds or trims) or with a simple understanding of proper structured charting and/or trading structured set-ups you can book some trade coaching time and we will assist you with your trade planning as needed. You may find after a few hours of trade coaching that this is all you need to become a proficient profit side trader.

Jan 27 – The upside move here could be huge. Price on a launch pad right under 20 and 50 MA’s on weekly chart with SQZMOM and MACD supporting a possible move. Wouldn’t want to be short in to earnings. Risk reward very poor for shorts.

My Trading Plan for Amazon Earnings:

It’s simple, if price breaches the 20 and 50 MA it’s a long to test previous highs (the pivot of around 1950.00). And if previous highs are taken out, look for an equal extension to upside of previous highs (price target around 2200.00). If Amazon sells off, look to 200 MA (near) test and bounce.

MICROSOFT (MSFT) Similar to AMZN but I don’t like it as much. Retrace didn’t touch 100 MA and RR not the same imo. $MSFT #earnings #swingtrade

The set-up is very similar to Amazon, but the 20 and 50 MA’s aren’t pinching like on Amazon chart and price didn’t pull back enough. Also, the fundamental picture isn’t as strong. The Amazon chart trajectory holds much higher risk reward for the bullish trade bias.

However, if it sells-off I wouldn’t expect as much of pull back as with Amazon.

So it depends if you are considering a trade position in to earnings or not. I will wait until after earnings are announced for both, And likely not trade Microsoft. Yet to be seen.

Trading Plan for Microsoft Earnings:

In a bullish run you can expect previous highs, however, I wouldn’t expect much more near term.

In a sell-off I would target a touch to 100 MA (near to). Unlikely imo.

Trade alerts and stock chart set-ups should be traded decision to decision process – when trade set-up fails cut position fast. Leg in to winners at key resistance and support (at retracement or breach) and exit losers fast based on technical support and resistance. If you are new to our trading service you should review recent blog posts, the Compound Trading YouTube Channel and at minimum our algorithm Twitter feeds because they do tell a story in terms of the market and how the inflections of the market determine our day to day trading. You will notice the algorithmic modelling has been undeniably accurate with many time-frames (intra-day, weeks and months out) so I myself have learned to respect the math (they have taken me from a 60% hit rate to 80%+ all publicly posted live trade alerts).

Momentum Stocks (Market Open and Intra-Day):

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid much of the day trading risk (preferring to daytrade only what is structurally set-up also on the swing trade side and to my advantage in the algorithmic model charting). I often avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks or structured (per explanation in previous sentence) stocks later in day after a wash-out looking for a snap-back trade that can possibly also become a strong swing or longer term trade that I can leg in to. Just prior to open and shortly after open I post momentum stocks to the trade chat room (and Twitter and Stocktwits if I have time).

Wednesday Jan 16 – Holding DWT short in to EIA today. Post EIA expect us to be in active in to time cycle peak mid May now. Positions in swings expected between Friday afternoon and Monday premarket to start. Oil still bullish, was looking for more of a pull back but in oil you never know. EIA report today should set the tone for that pullback or not decision. NatGas trade I seem to have missed executing on. Volatility on high watch here, if oil sells off I will be short OIL, TVIX short and SPY short will all be in play short term. Dollar could spike too so I may long it short term, it is holding its 200 MA. Per previous I would then expect to flip on all those positions. It would be ideal for this to happen now in this timing because entries in equities would be lower in this scenario. We shall see.

Monday Jan 14 – Earnings season starts, looking for my swing trade set-ups to develop as we get in to the season. Machine trade model for oil posted to Discord private member server that has a channel we are watching to confirm possible reversal in trend (up). VIX and $SPY on high watch with earnings season starting. May have missed my NatGas $UGAZ long I was talking about taking. $DXY US Dollar near 200 MA support test on daily, also on watch and VIX near lower Bollinger band, $TVIX on watch.

Citi $C up a bit premarket (reported earnings), but only .65% off in premarket. On watch today per swing trading report released this morning.

Friday Jan 11 –

On watch: Looking for a buy side signal as close to 52.60 (in crude oil) as possible for a price target of 53.52 today. Bullish scenario on FX USOIL WTI traded on CL.

We have been looking for a pull back in oil for a number of reasons (watch mid vids and reporting)… anyway, in classic oil style we have not got much of any pull backs, HOWEVER, if you review the 240 minute model you will see a time cycle peak around Jan 14, 2019 that isn’t huge but big enough to potentially cause a pull back BETWEEN TODAY and next Wednesday. This would give me opportunity to add to the DWT short position (at oil support after pull back), at start of pull back take a long VIX, long Natural Gas, short SPY or QQQ, long dollar, long possibly Bitcoin, Gold, Silver and then when oil bounces reverse all those trades.

The machine trading will now get more aggressive as the EPIC oil model is finally normaliziing after holiday trade anomalies (the software triggers on the chart, so the structure of the chart s important).

Thanks for your patience with the reporting, we’re on it, we just got in deep with the oil anomalies and this possible turn. We need to have a structured oil plan for the rest of the trading in equities ad algorithms to find the core of the move.

If you are new to our trading service you should review recent blog posts, the Compound Trading YouTube Channel and at minimum our algorithm Twitter feeds because they do tell a story in terms of the market and how the inflections of the market determine our day to day trading. You will notice the algorithmic modelling has been undeniably accurate with many time-frames (intra-day, weeks and months out) so I myself have learned to respect the math (they have taken me from a 60% hit rate to 80%+ all publicly posted live trade alerts).

Momentum Stocks (Market Open and Intra-Day):

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid much of the day trading risk (preferring to daytrade only what is structurally set-up also on the swing trade side and to my advantage in the algorithmic model charting). I often avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks or structured (per explanation in previous sentence) stocks later in day after a wash-out looking for a snap-back trade that can possibly also become a strong swing or longer term trade that I can leg in to. Just prior to open and shortly after open I post momentum stocks to the trade chat room (and Twitter and Stocktwits if I have time).

Tuesday Jan 8 – Today in to EIA is the final watch on market structure that we need and we’ll start producing the structured trading range reports for the next 6 months. 24 hours of patience. Then its go time. I think we have it nailed down. Please watch those mid day review videos so you are in the know before we go. Really really important.

Monday Jan 7 – Two days to let market structure settle and the report flow for the next six month time cycles starts. #patience #caution.

Fri Jan 4 – If Fed pauses hikes and US-China trade relations improve oil should run in to May targets oil bundle members have (especially if OPEC cuts remain in play), the markets should run up in to May. Gold, Silver, VIX, DXY and Bitcoin may (are likely) to get soft and equities will be a stock pickers environment (traded properly within instrument structure) during that period (Q1 2019). Generally this is how it looks currently. But yet to be seen in to next week forward – this is one scenario. Reporting and alerts (either way) will become very active as next week rolls out and in to next 6 months. We will have the structure of trade for our coverage (the algorithm models and swing platform) so that we can trade either scenarios (up or down in each, including swing trading).

It just happened yesterday.

If you are new to our trading service you should review recent blog posts, the Compound Trading YouTube Channel and at minimum our algorithm Twitter feeds because they do tell a story in terms of the market and how the inflections of the market determine our day to day trading. You will notice the algorithmic modelling has been undeniably accurate with many time-frames (intra-day, weeks and months out) so I myself have learned to respect the math (they have taken me from a 60% hit rate to 80%+ all publicly posted live trade alerts).

Momentum Stocks (Market Open and Intra-Day):

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid much of the day trading risk (preferring to daytrade only what is structurally set-up also on the swing trade side and to my advantage in the algorithmic model charting). I often avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks or structured (per explanation in previous sentence) stocks later in day after a wash-out looking for a snap-back trade that can possibly also become a strong swing or longer term trade that I can leg in to. Just prior to open and shortly after open I post momentum stocks to the trade chat room (and Twitter and Stocktwits if I have time).

Monday Jan 7 – Two days to let market structure settle and the report flow for the next six month time cycles starts. #patience #caution.

Fri Jan 4 – If Fed pauses hikes and US-China trade relations improve oil should run in to May targets oil bundle members have (especially if OPEC cuts remain in play), the markets should run up in to May. Gold, Silver, VIX, DXY and Bitcoin may (are likely) to get soft and equities will be a stock pickers environment (traded properly within instrument structure) during that period (Q1 2019). Generally this is how it looks currently. But yet to be seen in to next week forward – this is one scenario. Reporting and alerts (either way) will become very active as next week rolls out and in to next 6 months. We will have the structure of trade for our coverage (the algorithm models and swing platform) so that we can trade either scenarios (up or down in each, including swing trading).

If you are new to our trading service you should review recent blog posts, the Compound Trading YouTube Channel and at minimum our algorithm Twitter feeds because they do tell a story in terms of the market and how the inflections of the market determine our day to day trading. You will notice the algorithmic modelling has been undeniably accurate with many time-frames (intra-day, weeks and months out) so I myself have learned to respect the math (they have taken me from a 60% hit rate to 80%+ all publicly posted live trade alerts).

Momentum Stocks (Market Open and Intra-Day):

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid much of the day trading risk (preferring to daytrade only what is structurally set-up also on the swing trade side and to my advantage in the algorithmic model charting). I often avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks or structured (per explanation in previous sentence) stocks later in day after a wash-out looking for a snap-back trade that can possibly also become a strong swing or longer term trade that I can leg in to. Just prior to open and shortly after open I post momentum stocks to the trade chat room (and Twitter and Stocktwits if I have time).

Fri Jan 4 – If Fed pauses hikes and US-China trade relations improve oil should run in to May targets oil bundle members have (especially if OPEC cuts remain in play), the markets should run up in to May. Gold, Silver, VIX, DXY and Bitcoin may (are likely) to get soft and equities will be a stock pickers environment (traded properly within instrument structure) during that period (Q1 2019). Generally this is how it looks currently. But yet to be seen in to next week forward – this is one scenario. Reporting and alerts (either way) will become very active as next week rolls out and in to next 6 months. We will have the structure of trade for our coverage (the algorithm models and swing platform) so that we can trade either scenarios (up or down in each, including swing trading).

Thurs Jan 3 – Stay calm, only today and Friday left in this holiday / time cycle completion phase. Our trading alerts will be very active in to next week.

A note from Jeremy yesterday posted to oil server in Discord;

I have received a few questions about why our machine trade is quiet. Trade through holidays was not structured at all and not within our rule set. When structured trade returns (it always does), we will be higher frequency than last month (about 5 – 10 x). At latest we expect structure next week but it could be earlier.

Friday Dec 28 – 

Closed DGAZ trade in premarket long 86.79 (NatGas short) from 52.30. Nice trade.

Per premarket note above: Still recovering from brutal food poisoning last 36 hours, trading room open today but likely trade will be really light until we are past Jan 1. Markets are not structured last number of days. Last Friday was completion of large time cycle in markets with a week either way as caution. Next week the new time cycles will be in play and our reporting and trading will reflect that (beyond Jan 1, 2019). Team is in session this weekend processing WIP completion for 2018 in to 2019.

Last trading session in crude oil trade alerts screen shot is below in trades section. Will be more active now that I’m recovering from sick and Jan 1 near.

Near end of June we signaled to lighten up on equity longs and we brought our long trades in for a landing over the next 90 days (check our feeds). Since then we’ve consistently signaled caution in to end of time cycle in to end of Dec 2018. First two quarters 2019 we expect to be extremely active. Watch all reporting closely from recent forward.

Wednesday Dec 19 – 

Still holding DGAZ (Natgas short) and will add to it if oil gets a leg up post EIA and FOMC.

Still holding the others per recent reports.

Time cycle completing and with FOMC and EIA today it makes sense.

Some of our favorite daytrading and swing trading equities are bullish premarket so that is a good sign and many market leaders have a jump in their step this morning, FB is an exception – it isn’t looking great at time of writing.

Machine trade in oil yesterday worked, small but it worked fine. Per dms, the reason it didn’t trade in to 230 EST when it was an obvious trade after giving guidance of price pressure in to the close is that the software is programmed not to trade between 210 – 230 EST in to close with oil. Same with post close until futures open, right before regular market open and around EIA or other special events. We will shorten this duration next updates and have a goal to completely eliminate the black out period for events and low volume periods – will advise.

Patience, we’re almost done this cycle.

Tuesday Dec 18 – 

DO NOT MISS the lead trader premarket note at start of this report.

I am watching GS, MCD, SBUX and SPY today, as well as Oil and obviously VIX with the two day Fed meetings. The other watches are in recent lists in premarket (equities etc). Also, Trump after Googl, FB, and TWTR again – watch your long bias.

If oil doesn’t regain yesterday’s price drop I will close my DGAZ long position soon.

Everything in recent reports remains in to time cycle peak. Use extreme caution.

We’re close to the other side of this cycle now. Lots of reporting on deck.

In to and out of this massive time cycle peak $STUDY and you’ll never regret it. Forget trading for a week.

Monday Dec 17 – 

Global markets are calmer. Out of the VIX short trade last week but still in the others.

Equities on watch listed below all remain on my list.

Dec 13 – Markets are mixed (not surprising considering time cycle completion on 20 th ish). Extreme caution between here and 20th ish.

Looking for a pull back on DGAZ to size next leg above starter.

Holding VIX starter short in TVIX – HIGH RISK TRADE, extreme caution. Likely reverse bias after Dec 20 ish.

Holding SPY long starter. Likely reverse to short after Dec 20 ish.

Holding DWT short starter (however, it looks like oil may take another leg down here, it will either hold here or down another floor). Will size in next leg after a pull back in oil.

Holding ARWR swing starter long (missed my next leg size).

Looking for a possible BTC long swing other side of Dec 20 ish.

Looking for a possible Silver and Gold long other side of Dec 20 ish.

Looking for a possible DXY short other side of Dec 20 ish.

Expect next 6 months to be trading career huge. Massive range. Equity swings will increase as we come out of this time cycle peak – it will be a stock pickers year in 2019 with technical analysis rooting the trade action. My goal is to retire off front lines in 6 months (still here, but off the front lines), to do that my personal trading and machine trading has to be massive to win side.

Dec 12 – Per trade status video emailed last night; trades in oil going well (personal and machine trading did well yesterday), we’re short starter TVIX (VIX ETN), short starter DWT (short Oil ETN), long DWT (short NatGas ETN), long SPY. Looking at other equity, currency, indices trades per the video posted Dec 11 to YouTube and emailed. Unclear on Gold, Silver and BTC however, we are bias to a bullish run after Dec 20 time cycle peaks. Yet to be seen. Slightly bearish in to new year DXY. But everything is on the table and the trend after Dec 20 time cycle in to new year trading is key for positioning – KEEP AN OPEN MIND.

Weekly guidance is pensive at this point, I am likely to let Monday open and will look toward the reporting. I am bias to oil turning up in to new year, VIX will be a considerable trading instrument for us also, Gold and Silver looking for advance bullish, US Dollar unsure, moderately bullish Yen, BTC should bottom near Dec 20, SPY and other indices I expect continued pressure. Moderately bearish NatGas.

Swing trade guidance in reporting due out this week. Also moderately bullish NEM at this point. Moderately bearish Tech and Bio in to new year. All tentative in to turn of Dec 20 time-cycle. More in reports.

Some guidance / confluence contradictory at this juncture, those are our views at this point in to Dec 20 time cycle completion, all yet to be seen and positions to be determined.

If you are new to our trading service you should review recent blog posts, the Compound Trading YouTube Channel and at minimum our algorithm Twitter feeds because they do tell a story in terms of the market and how the inflections of the market determine our day to day trading. You will notice the algorithmic modelling has been undeniably accurate with many time-frames (intra-day, weeks and months out) so I myself have learned to respect the math (they have taken me from a 60% hit rate to 80%+ all publicly posted live trade alerts).

Momentum Stocks (Market Open and Intra-Day):

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid much of the day trading risk (preferring to daytrade only what is structurally set-up also on the swing trade side and to my advantage in the algorithmic model charting). I often avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks or structured (per explanation in previous sentence) stocks later in day after a wash-out looking for a snap-back trade that can possibly also become a strong swing or longer term trade that I can leg in to. Just prior to open and shortly after open I post momentum stocks to the trade chat room (and Twitter and Stocktwits if I have time).

    • Dec 28 – Still recovering from brutal food poisoning last 36 hours, trading room open today but likely trade will be really light until we are past Jan 1. Markets are not structured last number of days. Last Friday was completion of large time cycle in markets with a week either way as caution. On other side of time cycle peak the reporting will be intense as the trends develop post time cycle peak. The associated private discord server and alert feeds will be more active as a result also. We nailed the time cycles before the election, post election and in to this peak we backed off considerably, out the other side of this peak we will be extremely active for 6 months.
    • Dec 17 – This Friday is the time cycle peak in global markets. That makes this week and next the inflection. Member / client reporting over next two weeks will be intense. I will be in trading room most days over next 6 months. Public sharing of calls in this massive cycle next will be minimal. We’re locking down for the cycle. Explained on my Twitter account tonight. My goal is to back off front lines to back office when time cycle complete. Massive time cycle next and we intend to hit it. Hope y’all bank.

Closed DGAZ trade in premarket long 86.79 (NatGas short) from 52.30. Nice trade.

Near end of June we signaled to lighten up on equity longs and we brought our long trades in for a landing over the next 90 days (check our feeds). Since then we’ve consistently signaled caution in to end of time cycle in to end of Dec 2018. First two quarters 2019 we expect to be extremely active. Watch all reporting closely from recent forward.

Wednesday Dec 19 – 

Still holding DGAZ (Natgas short) and will add to it if oil gets a leg up post EIA and FOMC.

Still holding the others per recent reports.

Time cycle completing and with FOMC and EIA today it makes sense.

Some of our favorite daytrading and swing trading equities are bullish premarket so that is a good sign and many market leaders have a jump in their step this morning, FB is an exception – it isn’t looking great at time of writing.

Machine trade in oil yesterday worked, small but it worked fine. Per dms, the reason it didn’t trade in to 230 EST when it was an obvious trade after giving guidance of price pressure in to the close is that the software is programmed not to trade between 210 – 230 EST in to close with oil. Same with post close until futures open, right before regular market open and around EIA or other special events. We will shorten this duration next updates and have a goal to completely eliminate the black out period for events and low volume periods – will advise.

Patience, we’re almost done this cycle.

Tuesday Dec 18 – 

DO NOT MISS the lead trader premarket note at start of this report.

I am watching GS, MCD, SBUX and SPY today, as well as Oil and obviously VIX with the two day Fed meetings. The other watches are in recent lists in premarket (equities etc). Also, Trump after Googl, FB, and TWTR again – watch your long bias.

If oil doesn’t regain yesterday’s price drop I will close my DGAZ long position soon.

Everything in recent reports remains in to time cycle peak. Use extreme caution.

We’re close to the other side of this cycle now. Lots of reporting on deck.

In to and out of this massive time cycle peak $STUDY and you’ll never regret it. Forget trading for a week.

Monday Dec 17 – 

Global markets are calmer. Out of the VIX short trade last week but still in the others.

Equities on watch listed below all remain on my list.

Dec 13 – Markets are mixed (not surprising considering time cycle completion on 20 th ish). Extreme caution between here and 20th ish.

Looking for a pull back on DGAZ to size next leg above starter.

Holding VIX starter short in TVIX – HIGH RISK TRADE, extreme caution. Likely reverse bias after Dec 20 ish.

Holding SPY long starter. Likely reverse to short after Dec 20 ish.

Holding DWT short starter (however, it looks like oil may take another leg down here, it will either hold here or down another floor). Will size in next leg after a pull back in oil.

Holding ARWR swing starter long (missed my next leg size).

Looking for a possible BTC long swing other side of Dec 20 ish.

Looking for a possible Silver and Gold long other side of Dec 20 ish.

Looking for a possible DXY short other side of Dec 20 ish.

Expect next 6 months to be trading career huge. Massive range. Equity swings will increase as we come out of this time cycle peak – it will be a stock pickers year in 2019 with technical analysis rooting the trade action. My goal is to retire off front lines in 6 months (still here, but off the front lines), to do that my personal trading and machine trading has to be massive to win side.

Dec 12 – Per trade status video emailed last night; trades in oil going well (personal and machine trading did well yesterday), we’re short starter TVIX (VIX ETN), short starter DWT (short Oil ETN), long DWT (short NatGas ETN), long SPY. Looking at other equity, currency, indices trades per the video posted Dec 11 to YouTube and emailed. Unclear on Gold, Silver and BTC however, we are bias to a bullish run after Dec 20 time cycle peaks. Yet to be seen. Slightly bearish in to new year DXY. But everything is on the table and the trend after Dec 20 time cycle in to new year trading is key for positioning – KEEP AN OPEN MIND.

I will be in trading room for open, mid day and at other times when we are trading.

Weekly guidance is pensive at this point, I am likely to let Monday open and will look toward the reporting. I am bias to oil turning up in to new year, VIX will be a considerable trading instrument for us also, Gold and Silver looking for advance bullish, US Dollar unsure, moderately bullish Yen, BTC should bottom near Dec 20, SPY and other indices I expect continued pressure. Moderately bearish NatGas.

Swing trade guidance in reporting due out this week. Also moderately bullish NEM at this point. Moderately bearish Tech and Bio in to new year. All tentative in to turn of Dec 20 time-cycle. More in reports.

Some guidance / confluence contradictory at this juncture, those are our views at this point in to Dec 20 time cycle completion, all yet to be seen and positions to be determined.

Trade alerts and stock chart set-ups should be traded decision to decision process – when trade set-up fails cut position fast. Leg in to winners at key resistance and support (at retracement or breach) and exit losers fast based on technical support and resistance. Not all set-ups work, the purpose of technical analysis is to provide a framework to trade (chart structure enables a trader to set stops where a trade has failed or leg in to winners and trim winners). Purpose of trade alerts is to bring awareness of a trade set-up in play but you have to execute the trade based on your trading strategy (which should be harnessed in your rules based process).

The world’s biggest banks are reckoning on a rebound in oil prices next year as fears of a recession prove misplaced.

To have even a basic view on markets, you should have a clear view on two variables:

-next year’s PE ratio

To have a view on multiples you a need a view on growth & inflation

Momentum Stocks (Market Open and Intra-Day):

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid much of the day trading risk (preferring to daytrade only what is structurally set-up also on the swing trade side and to my advantage in the algorithmic model charting). I often avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks or structured (per explanation in previous sentence) stocks later in day after a wash-out looking for a snap-back trade that can possibly also become a strong swing or longer term trade that I can leg in to. Just prior to open and shortly after open I post momentum stocks to the trade chat room (and Twitter and Stocktwits if I have time).

October 24 Trading Plan: It’s all about oil $WTI $CL_F today, then it will be about GOLD $GLD, SILVER $SLV, VIX $VIX and SP500 $SPY for me thereafter. Watching the TESLA $TSLA play and MCDONALDS $MCD very close. Everything else will be reviewed on swing trading report due out today.

October 23: Notes per below remain in play. New position long in Silver is working from 14.63’s as a swing trade, oil short in to open yesterday worked, watching for an intra-day bounce possible in to open in oil and then down likely. Gold has a bounce as does VIX as I expected in to this time cycle. Momentum daytrading is very dangerous right now. Watching some swing trades in equities (forming a report right now and I’ll release it today).

Considering a long term (6 months or more) swing trade in $MCD soon. Long.

$VIX up more than double since we were alerting time cycle run #premarket.

October 22: I have a new position in Silver in 14.63’s long that may get some pressure but there is a plan to add at support below. Earnings season may help equities some here near term – but it is dubious.

I will continue chewing around the edges of this crude oil sell-off at support areas for a reversal to the retracement and try and get a decent short position also when I can at upside resistance. Serious, serious pressure here in oil trade BUT support areas for possible reversal are starting to hit now on various charting time-frames and structures – BUT that doesn’t mean it will reverse. It reverses when it reverses, trade the indicators not bias.

Watching NFLX, SQ, ROKU, SHOP, FEYE very close right now and swinging them all. TSLA trade yesterday went great, still holding 25% on the swing side. Today is all about OIL with EIA.

PSTG has an upgrade I’m watching also.

I am leaning toward equity markets possibly holding up in to end of Oct early Nov, Gold Silver Crypto likely pressure in to that time frame, Oil likely pressure in to that time frame and VIX also. And then end of Oct early Nov that should switch.

This is a leaning bias – a general outlook. However, I do see significant risk that could trigger volatility at any time here. But generally equity markets should hold to that late Oct early Nov with VIX GOLD SILVER OIL under pressure and then the opposite should turn toward mid Dec time cycle peak. I know I’ve been promising the remaining model reports for some time, last night we ran the machine trading tests on EPIC and it is working so I can leave the staff to that and now start getting the reporting out. The software development part of our biz I have to admit has been a challenge to our time.

It’s difficult to explain in short how complicated software development is with machine trading launch. But we’re learning to manage it. We’re in it to win it – we won’t give up and we’re making serious progress, that’s the bottom line.

Looking for possible short term sell off in oil with a spike in VIX, Gold, Silver and then markets should levitate for short term bringing VIX Gold Silver Crypto soft and then reversal again and again and rinse and repeat to mid December 2018 minimum.

Time cycle dates expiring in markets for big moves…. started end of July, next Oct 10, Nov 11, mid Dec big in to Q1 19. Distributing trading models starting tonight for time frames in expectation for #Oil, #Gold, #Silver, #Bitcoin, #SP500, #Volatility, #USD It’s big, watch.

Further to that public Twitter post, over next two quarters I expect the equity markets to continue under serious pressure in to rates, after a technical retracement oil to skyrocket unless Trump can get a handle on the price somehow (trying with Saudi’s now), Dollar likely to spike hard for some time then fall off a cliff, volatility to increase, Gold and Silver get up and going soon and Crypto to fly. That’s my bias, thesis, trading plan in to next two quarters. Timing will be key. All of our reporting will reflect this near term and will also focus on key swing trading set-ups within themes.

If you are new to our trading service you should review recent blog posts, the Compound Trading YouTube Channel and at minimum our algorithm Twitter feeds because they do tell a story in terms of the market and how the inflections of the market determine our day to day trading. You will notice the algorithmic modelling has been undeniably accurate with many time-frames (intra-day, weeks and months out) so I myself have learned to respect the math (they have taken me from a 60% hit rate to 80%+ all publicly posted live trade alerts).

Momentum Stocks (Market Open and Intra-Day):

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid much of the day trading risk (preferring to daytrade only what is structurally set-up also on the swing trade side and to my advantage in the algorithmic model charting). I often avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks or structured (per explanation in previous sentence) stocks later in day after a wash-out looking for a snap-back trade that can possibly also become a strong swing or longer term trade that I can leg in to. Just prior to open and shortly after open I post momentum stocks to the trade chat room (and Twitter and Stocktwits if I have time).

October 23: Notes per below remain in play. New position long in Silver is working from 14.63’s as a swing trade, oil short in to open yesterday worked, watching for an intra-day bounce possible in to open in oil and then down likely. Gold has a bounce as does VIX as I expected in to this time cycle. Momentum daytrading is very dangerous right now. Watching some swing trades in equities (forming a report right now and I’ll release it today).

Considering a long term (6 months or more) swing trade in $MCD soon. Long.

$VIX up more than double since we were alerting time cycle run #premarket.

October 22: I have a new position in Silver in 14.63’s long that may get some pressure but there is a plan to add at support below. Earnings season may help equities some here near term – but it is dubious.

I will continue chewing around the edges of this crude oil sell-off at support areas for a reversal to the retracement and try and get a decent short position also when I can at upside resistance. Serious, serious pressure here in oil trade BUT support areas for possible reversal are starting to hit now on various charting time-frames and structures – BUT that doesn’t mean it will reverse. It reverses when it reverses, trade the indicators not bias.

Watching NFLX, SQ, ROKU, SHOP, FEYE very close right now and swinging them all. TSLA trade yesterday went great, still holding 25% on the swing side. Today is all about OIL with EIA.

PSTG has an upgrade I’m watching also.

I am leaning toward equity markets possibly holding up in to end of Oct early Nov, Gold Silver Crypto likely pressure in to that time frame, Oil likely pressure in to that time frame and VIX also. And then end of Oct early Nov that should switch.

This is a leaning bias – a general outlook. However, I do see significant risk that could trigger volatility at any time here. But generally equity markets should hold to that late Oct early Nov with VIX GOLD SILVER OIL under pressure and then the opposite should turn toward mid Dec time cycle peak. I know I’ve been promising the remaining model reports for some time, last night we ran the machine trading tests on EPIC and it is working so I can leave the staff to that and now start getting the reporting out. The software development part of our biz I have to admit has been a challenge to our time.

It’s difficult to explain in short how complicated software development is with machine trading launch. But we’re learning to manage it. We’re in it to win it – we won’t give up and we’re making serious progress, that’s the bottom line.

Looking for possible short term sell off in oil with a spike in VIX, Gold, Silver and then markets should levitate for short term bringing VIX Gold Silver Crypto soft and then reversal again and again and rinse and repeat to mid December 2018 minimum.

Time cycle dates expiring in markets for big moves…. started end of July, next Oct 10, Nov 11, mid Dec big in to Q1 19. Distributing trading models starting tonight for time frames in expectation for #Oil, #Gold, #Silver, #Bitcoin, #SP500, #Volatility, #USD It’s big, watch.

Further to that public Twitter post, over next two quarters I expect the equity markets to continue under serious pressure in to rates, after a technical retracement oil to skyrocket unless Trump can get a handle on the price somehow (trying with Saudi’s now), Dollar likely to spike hard for some time then fall off a cliff, volatility to increase, Gold and Silver get up and going soon and Crypto to fly. That’s my bias, thesis, trading plan in to next two quarters. Timing will be key. All of our reporting will reflect this near term and will also focus on key swing trading set-ups within themes.

If you are new to our trading service you should review recent blog posts, the Compound Trading YouTube Channel and at minimum our algorithm Twitter feeds because they do tell a story in terms of the market and how the inflections of the market determine our day to day trading. You will notice the algorithmic modelling has been undeniably accurate with many time-frames (intra-day, weeks and months out) so I myself have learned to respect the math (they have taken me from a 60% hit rate to 80%+ all publicly posted live trade alerts).

Momentum Stocks (Market Open and Intra-Day):

I do trade morning momo stocks, but I do avoid much of the day trading risk (preferring to daytrade only what is structurally set-up also on the swing trade side and to my advantage in the algorithmic model charting). I often avoid the first 30 minutes (gap and go) and trade momentum stocks or structured (per explanation in previous sentence) stocks later in day after a wash-out looking for a snap-back trade that can possibly also become a strong swing or longer term trade that I can leg in to. Just prior to open and shortly after open I post momentum stocks to the trade chat room (and Twitter and Stocktwits if I have time).

Some of my Favorite Intra-day Trading Set-Ups:

(1) Momentum Stock Wash-Outs for Snap Back, (2) Bad News Wash-outs on Stocks with High Institutional Ownership, (3) Getting on the Right Side of a Trend Change and scaling in my position and (4) Our Algorithm Charting Model Set-Ups.

The momentum stocks (from previous days and morning trade) I continue to watch through the day for indicators that allow a trade.

Free scanners to find momentum stocks that you can easily review charts of for indicators that bring probability of your trade being successful up considerably. These are not useful for first 30 minute market open gap and go type plays (you need a good momentum scanner, level 2, and best to have hot-keys for the first 30 mins of gap and go trading)… but are very useful for intra day scalping and swing trading (start with trending stocks and then look at indicators intra for simple set-ups – study scan study scan study scan).
