Welcome to the Compound Trading Swing Trade Report Tuesday July 3, 2018 (Part A).

This swing trading report is Part A of one of five in rotation. Part B will be published with 48 hours.

The five reports include approximately one hundred equities that we cover. The equities covered in the reports are divided in to five publications (that may be partitioned in to Part A and Part B) and the reports are then rotated on cycle approximately every five weeks to members of our service. In addition to the regular reports our members receive feature set-up and educational reports as available.

The reports are in the process of upgrades to include buy and sell triggers identified on charting of select instruments that are nearing trade set-ups. The triggers (price and / or other indicators) will also be set to alarm on our charting for attendees to the live trading room and alerts will flash on screen during live trading room broadcast. Additionally, the triggers will be buy / sell points for our traders to use as part of the alerts members may receive.

If you need help with a specific trade and the specific trading plan for your swing trade set-up let me know and as I have time I can help you formulate.

When managing your trades with the reports keep in mind that you will have to invest an hour or two a week to check the indicators mentioned for buy and sell triggers.

Swing trading success, even with a service, does require “some” maintenance on the part of the user, although the new live alert service will take much of that burden off the user as we know many of our users have busy lives. It is the indicators lining up that signal a trade long entry or an exit. In our case rely heavily on MACD on daily or weekly (or Stoch RSI and Moving averages) but indicators we are basing our trade entry and exits on are listed with each trade so any user that does even moderate trade management will know when the indicator(s) have turn with or against the trade.

Intra-week you can always DM myself on Twitter or email with specific questions regarding trades you are considering for assistance. But it is critical that you attend to the maintenance of your signals at least once a week if not twice and set stops and preferably alarms so that intra-week you can enter or exit. If nothing else you can always book some coaching time and I’ll assist also (although we are at a point of waiting list for the coaching, at minimum you can get on list or for immediate help as I said please DM or email).

IF WE DON’T GET BACK TO YOU RIGHT AWAY it is usually because we are pressured with deadlines or are trading.

As live charts are made available below, click on link and open viewer. Then to use chart yourself click on share button at bottom right (near thumbs up) and then click “make it mine”.

To remove the indicators at bottom of chart screen (MACD, Stochastic RSI, Squeeze Momentum) double click on chart body to remove indicators from chart – and same to return the indicators.

Below is an updated and blown up version of the previous chart posted.

With earnings in seven days… the Netflix chart is on the top of my personal watchlist now, and here’s why;

The really interesting thing here is the bull bear fight in play. If you look close you will see the top of the candles the last 3 days hitting the quad wall resistance (gray dotted) and sitting on 50 MA support on this daily chart (50 MA is an important indicator in swing trading) and most interesting is that trade is near the mid quad main pivot area of the chart (gray horizontal line with gray arrow).

What does this mean?

My Netflix trading plan in bull scenario…. Trade above 300.00 and 20 MA (blue) is a long to 313.92 then 315.92 then 328 area.

And for bearish trade scenario… Trade below 285.00 / 290.00 and 50 MA targets 278.33 then 275.50 then 263.29.

Further to my Netflix swing trading plan… it would be ideal to time a turn up in the MACD. The chart below shows that the Stochastic RSI has already curled up and was near bottom (leading indicator typically and the fact it got so close to the bottom is perfect) and the MACD is near the bottom and so is the Squeeze Momentum Indicator (I would expect this to turn next and then the MACD)

I really like this set-up for a long side trade. Hoping price actions proves this trade set-up out here.

I like this one a lot now so it is on high watch. Most probable scenario is a test of mid quad fib at 23.17 and possibly 24.30 and a retrace to near diagonal trendline (quad wall) below and then bounce. But I will be watching close for the mid quad fib resistance test around 23.17.

This swing trading report is one in five in rotation. The goal is to publish each in rotation approximately every 30 – 40 days (pending market conditions). We currently have approximately one hundred equities we cover regularly on our swing trading service.

This is Part A and B of this report.

The reports are in the process of upgrades to included buy and sell triggers identified on charting of select instruments that are nearing trade set-ups. The triggers (price and / or other indicators) will also be programmed in to our charting for attendees to the live trading room and alerts will flash on screen in the trading room. Additionally, the triggers will be buy / sell points for our traders to use as part of the alerts members may receive.

If you need help with a specific trade and the specific trading plan for your swing trade set-up let me know and as I have time I can help you formulate.

When managing your trades with the reports keep in mind that you will have to invest an hour or two a week to check the indicators mentioned for buy and sell triggers.

This is an interesting set-up. I’m slightly bullish but it has to gain the mid quad resistance above at 74.00 and then long side entries can start as long as indicators are cooperating..

Closed Tuesday 72.68 with next support below at 70.45 and currently riding 200 MA.

A few things you need to know before we look at the technical detail:

We have not been on the losing side of an oil trade alert in many, many weeks (time stamped, recorded, alerted live for review) – I would have to look it up on EPIC’s alert feed but I’m sure it’s near 3 months now (or so) since we last lost on an oil trade alert. The point is this, our methods are now so refined that the signals we are providing are obviously very predictable, can be duplicated (with some rudimentary study) and quite frankly are the best oil trading signals we can verify anywhere in the world (the others doing this work simply do not share – they go dark). Our win rate on that EPIC Oil Algorithm live alert feed is nearing 100% since inception (over-all, and improved as time goes on). This should give any student of the oil trading markets significant confidence to take the time to learn how we are doing it.
The Process Can Be Easily Learned and Easily Duplicated. The process used is a series of decisions that appears complicated at first glance but is so easy that it is truly becomes near boring (it looks complicated initially because there are a number of decisions in the process and the student needs to do some study) but when you understand the decisions to be made before entering a trade it is then almost easy – nearly paint by numbers trading. I am multi-tasking numerous functions all day every day (I can’t focus, it is impossible), and yet I have not alerted a losing trade in months. I look at the oil algorithm to make oil trading decisions for at most ten minutes a day. In other words, once you learn the process it takes near zero time to study and then execute your trades with top notch results.
You Will Need the Algorithm. You will need to use the oil algorithm charting model along with other conventional charting models (even I will not take an entry without first reviewing the algorithm and other very specific more conventional charting). You can learn how to use our indicators in many ways – all of which (as noted above) become really simple to execute on once learned. And the bonus is you will not need to spend time with and know the news events of the day or any other fundamentals to achieve our winning results. We provide a live alert feed on Twitter for oil trades, weekly newsletters with updates to the algorithm charting (along with other conventional technical charting) and we also have a private chat room server on Discord for our traders where I regularly provide our traders guidance in the oil markets and trading plan in advance. New students can even study the historical member chat in the private feed, which in my opinion is a fantastic way to learn. And if that isn’t enough to be sure you become a pro, I will provide private coaching online (via Skype) as time allows.
It Will Take Time to Learn (but very little relatively speaking). You will not learn every detail of how we do it by only reading the article below but it will give you an excellent idea of how it’s done (if you’re new or investigating our process) and for existing members the information below will be an excellent trade review for continued learning and refinement of the process.

Let’s get on with a step by step explanation of how this intra-day oil trade win was done:

The trade set-up, it was Wednesday June 27 in premarket and the day of the EIA report at 10:30 AM. Leading in to the EIA reporting (Tuesday at 4:30 and Wednesday at 10:30) and then out the other side of the report is when I most like to trade oil. Basically I prefer to trade oil between Sunday evening when futures open and Wednesday mid day.

The Play by Play of The Trade:

Below is screen shot of the private member oil chat room server in Discord of the first oil trade alert of the day today from me (we also alerted it on EPIC’s live Twitter oil alert feed – you can view EPIC Oil Algorithm public Twitter feed here), the oil alert wording was as follows;

“Long 71.21” and then “hoping we squeeze in to EIA” and minutes later oil trade confirmed and I legged in heavy with an add alert “add 71.28”.

I also posted a screen shot of the EPIC Oil Algorithm model (based on a 30 minute time-frame) from my personal trading screen to the discord chat room along with the alerts.

Below are some (not all) of the buy signals that initiated the long side oil trade alert at the time and at that specific place (timing) in the model;

On the EPIC oil trading algorithm (represented in this instance on a conventional 2D chart for our oil traders and members) oil was trading above important resistance on the algorithm model (horizontal purple lines etc you see on the chart where trade was just above) and oil was trading past the peak time cycle in the trading quadrant (the widest area of the quadrants on the model are the peak in each cycle.

Imagine the trading quadrants as a baseball diamond as outlined with the orange dotted lines you see on the chart below. Draw a line from 2nd base straight down to the catcher and that is the peak time cycle in the trading quadrant, that is where the machines have the widest opportunity for trade and will often run trade up or down in to and out of the time cycle – it would / may take more time to explain or you can also review some explanation of our oil trading algorithm best use with videos on YouTube or study the private member oil chat room discord server).

Also, you can see on the 1 minute algorithmic “on the fly” charting below (our members had access to in the oil chat room) that trade actually came off after my initial long side trade alert (important to enter with a test size on first entry) – see the green arrow on the chart. Anyway… I was able to sit through the intra-day small retrace because I had the buy side signals “I had the nut hand”.

In other words, it was a structured trade – I had the “nut hand” (in poker, the nut hand is the strongest possible hand in a given situation) and if a trade is structured to the rules of process I know I will win (specific to oil and the EPIC model) at least 90% or more of the time (and more recently closer to 100%). So while the trade is structured – I have the “nut hand”, I rigidly stay in the trade – and position sizing is key for comfort in that.

A couple other notes with reference to the chart below;

When oil retraced after my initial trade, if I was paying close attention (and I wasn’t because my days are crazy busy) then I would have added to the trade when it turned bullish again on the 1 minute right before trade hit that diagonal Fibonacci trend line you see on the chart below. In fact, our coding team (that is designing the software for this algorithm model for our intelligent assisted trading platform did nail the add to the trade and totally destroyed my ROI.
When oil confirmed over that green horizontal line (mid quadrant resistance or the buy / sell signal on all of our models on all time frames) I alerted the long side adds to the trade and really hammered down on the position. This is a key area of our trading process.

And trade came off intra-day after we closed.

And I missed the trade because I was on a conference call. But our coding team totally destroyed the move and many of my clients reported awesome trades in that time period.

I work a lot, and today I had this article on “how to win most swing trades using our platforms” all figured out in my mind. Now that it’s 1:00 AM and I’ve processed hundreds of charts on swing trading, emails, helped other traders and more… I am experiencing writer’s block.

So what I will do is explain here quick the technical indicators we use in our trading to keep this as concise as possible. At a later date I will either do another more detailed article or revise this one.

This is Paint By Numbers Swing Trading. Trust the Process and Know the Rules.

We provide you the chart structure, with the instructions on how specifically to trade the move (paint by numbers trading). But you have to follow the plan and you have to know the rules of the game.

When you get to know our process for charting you will come to know that this is the best charting methodology on the markets. How do we know that? Because the biggest and best firms contract us to provide them with our charting data. This is the charting that the best of the best use for their traders and coding programmers for algorithms at hedge funds.

When you learn how to trade with a trading structure – a structured chart model, you will never return to trading the way you knew. I will guarantee that. It is like having a GPS when you travel. It’s totally different. We chart in advance the map of trade. This is much different than conventional charting methods that chart the trade after it has occurred (what you see in every day charting).

Proper charting structure allows you to be in a trade with confidence knowing that even if it fails you can get out with a win because you know the structure of the trade. You know that when it fails the next place on the chart where it should consolidate, restructure trade and you can then size in (exploit the next move) and get out with a win.

Conventional charting will not do this for you.

Swing Trading Chart Example:

Below is a Google (GOOGL) chart, we can use this as an example chart for how simple it is to swing trade this system.

The Google chart below has the following indicators for your trade;

Horizontal lines (Fibonacci related) are support and resistance on our charting. The ones marked with arrows are the key support and resistance areas for swing trading. The others not marked with arrows are intra-day support and resistance levels that you can use for adding to your position after you have entered long for example and trimming your position as trade nears your price target.
- Ideally you will take your initial long or short position at the main support or resistance line (the ones marked with arrows) and exit or considerably trim your position as trade gets to the next primary support or resistance (marked with an arrow).
- In this instance, using the chart below, you would enter long at 995.82 and trim that long at 1103.24 and continue to trim as you get closer to the next resistance at 1210.98. All figures are approximate.
The diagonal lines (in this example they are grey dotted) are Fibonacci related trend-lines that form what we call trading quadrants (diamond shape trading areas). Why are these important? Because you use them like any other support and resistance. Trim your long positions in to them and add above. You don’t have to, but some traders want to optimize their return. It depends on your trading plan, sizing and time frame. This is just one chart example with one time frame.
The red circles on our charts are price targets for not only the price but the actual exact time the target is most likely to get hit if trade hits it. Why do we provide these targets? Because if the machines are in the play that you are swing trading, you will find trade to be very predictable through the model and you will become very proficient at knowing which target will hit on the chart and exactly when.
Time cycle peaks are the area of the chart structure that allows for the widest width of trade. The apex or upper of the diamond and it correlates with the lower inverse apex (the bottom of the diamond). When coding technicians program for trade in the structured chart model this is where the profit is made. You will find in many of the chart models that trade volatility will increase in to the time cycle peak. They are noted also with a vertical dotted line on our charts. In the example below a green vertical dotted line. Here again, you want to view the chart in your trading plan and if trade has previously shown wide swings historically on the chart model at these intervals then you can take advantage of that.
Keep in mind that different trading instruments have different predictability in their chart models. This is directly influenced by liquidity in the market specific to the instrument and whether the machine liquidity is in the play. Some chart models for some instruments are incredibly predictable, and some are not. You will find our swing trading newsletters to explain this for various stocks we cover. The trading alerts feed does not cover this in great detail because it is an alert feed. The alert feeds do attempt to give clear entry and exit / trim points of reference for your trading plan however.
- Here is an example of a predictable structured trading model in Silver for example;

Also in our charting you will find conventional indicators like moving averages and other indicators that will vary from chart to chart.
I don’t like the idea of a trader just following an alert feed and not subscribing to the newsletter service because just the alerts can do a disservice to a trader because the whole story is not there. But if that’s all a trader can afford to get going then okay I understand. But ideally you want to be trained in private coaching for at least a few hours, get the newsletters so you have the perspective and structure of the trades, get in to the trading private server for members so you can ask questions and then once you are running confident then you can take trade alerts with no problem. But I get it and I’m flexible to the plight of new traders.
I highly encourage you to get at least a few hours of private trade coaching or attend a trading bootcamp to refine your skillset with sizing, cutting quickly and where if you are on the losing side of a trade, adding in to winners and trimming at the right locations in each trade. This is very important. So much so that I would venture to guess that knowing how the rules work and how to engage each trade will increase your win rate double, your losses to near zero and your return on each trade easily by 50%. It is critical.

Additionally, the triggers will be buy / sell points for our traders to use as part of the alerts members may receive.

My Netflix trading plan in bull scenario…. Trade above 300.00 and 20 MA (blue) is a long to 313.92 then 315.92 then 328 area.

And for bearish trade scenario… Trade below 285.00 / 290.00 and 50 MA targets 278.33 then 275.50 then 263.29.
